00:00Even though the Hadiths mention that 124,000 prophets were sent, only 25 of them are named in the Qur'an.
00:09We have some knowledge about these prophets, from the Qur'an, from Hadiths, and even from earlier books like the Torah and the Bible.
00:19However, many people don't know about the nations they were sent to, the regions they lived in, and where those places are today.
00:27In this video, we will take a short but educational journey through who these 25 prophets mentioned in the Qur'an were, where they were sent, and where those lands are now in today's world.
00:43They were human beings just like us. They had families, they had desires, but they dedicated their lives to their mission.
00:52Allah mentioned their names in the Qur'an. Peace be upon them all.

01:07Adam, alayhi salam
01:09Adam, alayhi salam, the first human and the first prophet, was created by the command of Allah from different types of soil.
01:18The angels mixed this soil with water and shaped it.
01:22After waiting for 40 years, the clay hardened and became like dry mud, salsal.
01:28On the 10th day of Muharram, which was a Friday, Allah gave him a soul and taught him the knowledge of everything.
01:35By Allah's command, the angels prostrated to Adam.
01:39But Iblis became arrogant and refused.
01:42He was then cast out of paradise.
01:44Adam married Hawa, who was created in paradise, and they lived there together for a while.
01:51However, because they ate from the forbidden tree, they were sent down to earth.
01:57Adam realized his mistake and sincerely repented.
02:01Allah accepted his repentance, see Surah al-Baqarah 237.
02:06Allah appointed Adam as a khalifa, representative on earth.
02:10After being separated from Hawa for many years, they met again in Arafat and built the Kaaba.
02:18Adam, alayhi salam, was chosen as a prophet.
02:21He was given a small book with 10 pages.
02:24He taught people about faith, worship, and knowledge.
02:28They lived in towns and worked with crafts and skills.
02:31A tragic event happened between Adam's sons, Habil and Kabil.
02:36Kabil, driven by jealousy, killed his brother, Habil.
02:40This was the first murder in human history.
02:44Humanity continued through the children of both brothers.
02:47According to some narrations, Adam, alayhi salam, lived a long life, about 960 years.
02:55Even though worship and divine teachings continued among his children and grandchildren after his death,
03:02over time, some people began to go astray.
03:06This would later lead to the coming of new prophets.
03:09It is said that his grave is in either Jerusalem, Mina, or Arafat.
03:15Hadiths mention that his height was between 30 and 40 meters.
03:18Idris, alayhi salam, is one of the prophets mentioned in the Quran.
03:30According to narrations, he had many special qualities.
03:34He was the fifth generation descendant of Adam, alayhi salam.
03:38Allah gave him 30 suhuf, small scriptures, and taught him many sciences.
03:44Before him, people wore animal skins or leaves.
03:47He taught people how to sew clothes and build cities.
03:52He knew 72 languages and invited every community to the true religion in their own tongue.
03:58Idris was the first person to write, to use a pen, and to teach knowledge.
04:04He also studied the stars and the movements of the sky.
04:08Because of this, he is known as the prophet of both knowledge and art.
04:12He migrated from Babylon to Egypt and lived there for many years,
04:16calling people to the true religion.
04:19In Surah al-Anbiya, verse 85, he is mentioned as one of the patient, righteous, and truthful people.
04:26The Quran says,
04:27We raised him to a high place.
04:30Many Islamic scholars believe that he was taken to the heavens without dying.
04:34Some narrations say he is in the fourth level of the sky.
04:41Nuh, alayhi salam.
04:45Nuh, alayhi salam, was sent as a prophet after Idris, alayhi salam.
04:51Islamic historians say he was sent to the region of Mosul in Iraq.
04:55His people were idol worshippers from Mesopotamia.
04:59At that time, people started worshipping idols, and sins like injustice and immorality became common.
05:07Nuh, alayhi salam, was given prophethood at the age of 50.
05:11He invited his people to believe in Allah and to leave idol worship for 950 years.
05:18But only a small number of people believed in him.
05:22Most of his people rejected him, mocked him, and treated him badly.
05:26When he realized that they would never believe, he prayed to Allah.
05:31Then Allah informed him of a great flood that was coming.
05:35By Allah's command, he built a large ship.
05:38He took on board the believers and a pair of every animal.
05:42Then the great flood began.
05:45Heavy rain poured from the sky.
05:47Water gushed from the earth.
05:49And all those who disbelieved drowned.
05:53The flood lasted for six months.
05:55And the ship finally came to rest on Mount Judy.
05:58One of Nuh's own sons did not board the ship and drowned in the water.
06:03Nuh, alayhi salam, had three sons.
06:07Sam, Ham, and Yafith.
06:09Who became the ancestors of all people.
06:12According to Islamic historians,
06:14Sam's descendants include Arabs, Jews, Assyrians, Babylonians, Persians, Syriacs, and Arameans.
06:23Ham's descendants include African peoples, Egyptians, and Ethiopians.
06:28Yafith's descendants include Turks, Greeks, Russians, Mongols, Chinese, Indians, and Europeans.
06:35These lineages are described in the works of scholars like Ibn Kathir, Tabari, Ibn Khaldun,
06:42and other classical Islamic historians and commentators.
06:46For this reason, Nuh, alayhi salam, is known as the second Adam.
06:52He lived a long life and died at the age of 1,000.
06:55The Qur'an mentions him in many verses and describes him as a very grateful servant of Allah.
07:04Hud, alayhi salam,
07:06Hud, alayhi salam, was from the descendants of Sam, the son of Nuh, alayhi salam.
07:14He was sent to the people of Ad in Yemen.
07:16The people of Ad earned their living through trade.
07:21Over time, they became wealthy and powerful.
07:24They built tall buildings, but they also became corrupt and started worshipping idols.
07:30They committed injustice, behaved arrogantly, and cheated in trade just for more wealth.
07:36Hud, alayhi salam, called them to believe in Allah, but they denied him.
07:42Allah warned them first with drought and famine,
07:44then he sent a strong, burning wind that destroyed them.
07:49Only Hud, alayhi salam, and those who believed in him were saved.
07:55Hud, alayhi salam, later settled in Makkah and passed away there.
08:01This story is told in many parts of the Qur'an.
08:05Salih, alayhi salam.
08:09Salih, alayhi salam, was sent as a prophet to the people of Thamud.
08:14The people of Thamud were idol worshippers.
08:18They were advanced in technology and architecture, carving homes inside mountains and building strong cities.
08:25See Surah al-Araf, verse 74.
08:28They lived in a region known today as Madayin Salih in Saudi Arabia.
08:33Salih invited them to believe in Allah.
08:36They said to him,
08:37If you bring out a pregnant she-camel from this rock in front of our eyes, we will believe you.
08:43Salih prayed to Allah, and as a miracle, a large she-camel came out of the rock in front of everyone.
08:49This camel was a clear sign from Allah.
08:52Its milk was so abundant that the entire people could drink without shortage.
08:56But the leaders of the tribe said,
08:59If this camel stays, Salih's influence will grow, and people will no longer listen to us.
09:06They made a secret plan and killed the camel during the night.
09:10This was not just killing an animal.
09:12It was destroying a sign from Allah.
09:16After that, they were given three days of warning.
09:19During this time, Salih and the believers left the city.
09:23On the third day, a loud sound and a violent shaking from the earth destroyed the people of Thamud.
09:30Only a small group of true believers survived.
09:35The destruction of Thamud is mentioned in the Quran as a lesson.
09:39Ibrahim, a.s.
09:43Ibrahim, a.s. is one of the five great prophets in Islam.
09:48He was sent to the people of the Chaldeans, Chaldaani, who were idol worshippers.
09:54He defended the belief in Tawheed, oneness of Allah.
09:57While his people were away celebrating a festival,
10:00Ibrahim, a.s. broke the idols except the biggest one,
10:05and he hung the axe around its neck.
10:07When they returned, they questioned him.
10:10Ibrahim said,
10:11Maybe the big one did it.
10:12Ask him if he can speak.
10:14He defeated them with wisdom.
10:16They had no answer, but still they lit a huge fire and threw him into it.
10:21By the will of Allah, the fire did not burn him, and he came out safely.
10:25After this, his people rejected him.
10:28By Allah's command, he migrated.
10:30He traveled with his wife Sarah to Egypt and then to Palestine.
10:35In Egypt, he married Hajar as his second wife.
10:37After many years without children, Ibrahim had a son, Ismail, from Hajar,
10:43and later another son, Ishaq, from Sarah.
10:47Ismail became the ancestor of the Arabs and Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
10:53Ishaq became the ancestor of the Jews and the prophets from Bani Israel.
10:57So in reality, Jews and Arabs are brothers,
11:01but the Jews saw the Arabs as stepbrothers and excluded them,
11:05leading to a power struggle.
11:08Ibrahim and his son Ismail built the Kaaba by Allah's command.
11:13The Kaaba became the center of worship.
11:15They also performed Hajj and taught it to the people.
11:19Allah showed Ibrahim a dream to sacrifice his son, Ismail.
11:23Ismail said,
11:24Father, do as you are commanded.
11:28When he placed the knife on his son's neck,
11:30Allah stopped him and said,
11:32O Ibrahim, you fulfilled your dream.
11:34We have completed this clear test.
11:37Then Allah sent a large animal to be sacrificed instead.
11:42As Muslims, we continue this tradition by celebrating Eid al-Adha.
11:46As ordered in the Quran,
11:49Ibrahim a.s. passed away in Jerusalem
11:52at the age of 175.
11:55He is known as the close friend, Khalil, of Allah.
12:01Lut, a.s.
12:04Lut, a.s. was the nephew of Ibrahim, a.s.
12:09After they migrated together from Babylon to Sham,
12:13greater Syria,
12:15Lut was sent as a prophet to the people of Sodom.
12:17This region is around present-day Jordan and the Dead Sea.
12:23The events happened a few centuries after the flood of Nuh,
12:27a.s.,
12:27around 2000 B.C.E.,
12:30during the rise of Mesopotamian civilizations.
12:33As a miracle,
12:35Lut made rain fall from a clear sky and spoke with stones.
12:40These miracles proved to his people that he was a prophet.
12:44But the people of Sodom worshipped idols
12:46and committed a type of relationship the world had never seen before,
12:51homosexual acts.
12:52However,
12:54these acts were not just private sins.
12:57They were forced upon others.
12:58They would assault young boys and enslave them.
13:01Wealthy men would treat young males as property.
13:04They even blocked roads
13:05and kidnapped male travelers to abuse them.
13:08This was not just individual sin.
13:11It had become a system of organized oppression.
13:14The Quran describes their behavior like this.
13:17You approach men,
13:19block the roads,
13:21and commit shameful acts in your gatherings.
13:24Surah Al-Ankabut, 29
13:26Lut, a.s.,
13:29invited them to the right path,
13:31but they refused
13:33and became even more aggressive.
13:35They even threatened to expel Lut and his family from the city.
13:40One day,
13:41three strangers came from the sky.
13:43They appeared as handsome young men
13:45and stayed at Lut's house as guests.
13:47The people of the city gathered
13:49and demanded to take these guests by force.
13:52They wanted to assault them.
13:54Lut was afraid,
13:55but the guests revealed they were angels.
13:58They told Lut to leave the city
13:59during the night with the believers.
14:01That night,
14:02Lut and a few believers escaped.
14:05By morning,
14:06the city was turned upside down.
14:08Stones rained from the sky
14:09and the corrupted people were completely destroyed.
14:13According to Islam,
14:14they were not destroyed
14:15just for practicing homosexual acts.
14:18They were punished
14:18because they forced this lifestyle on society,
14:22kidnapped the weak,
14:23and normalized group assaults.
14:25The story of the three handsome young men
14:28is told in the Quran
14:29to show this exact reason.
14:32Ismail a.s.
14:36Ismail a.s.
14:40was the eldest son of Ibrahim a.s.
14:44and one of the great grandfathers
14:46of Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wa sallam.
14:50His mother was Hajar.
14:52Ibrahim a.s.
14:54left Hajar and Ismail in Makkah
14:57and returned.
14:58While Hajar ran between the hills
15:00of Safa and Marwa
15:01in search of water,
15:03the water of Zamzam
15:04miraculously burst from the ground.
15:08As Ismail grew older,
15:10he was sent as a prophet
15:11to the tribe of Jurhum.
15:12He taught them the religion of Allah,
15:15called people to worship,
15:16and showed them how to pray
15:18and give zakah.
15:20He was also known
15:21for his skills in archery
15:22and horse riding.
15:24It is mentioned in Hadith books
15:26that Ismail, a.s.
15:28revived and established
15:30the Arabic language.
15:31His miracles included
15:33making fruits grow on thorny trees
15:35and causing sheep to give milk.
15:38He passed away in Makkah
15:39and was buried beside the Kaaba
15:41in the area known as Hijr.
15:45Ishak alayhi wa sallam
15:47was the second son of Ibrahim
15:49and his mother was Sarah.
15:53He was sent as a prophet
15:54to the people of Canaan,
15:55the land of today's Palestine.
15:58He visited Makkah
15:59with his brother Ismail
16:00and later spread the religion
16:02of his father.
16:04The Quran describes Ishak
16:05as a good servant,
16:07righteous, truthful,
16:09and devoted to Allah.
16:10He was also the father of Yaqub,
16:13Jacob, who was a prophet too.
16:16His miracles included animals
16:18testifying to his prophethood,
16:20a mountain moving through his prayer,
16:22and bringing dead animals
16:24back to life.
16:25He passed away at the age
16:27of 120 in Palestine.
16:29His grave is in the city of Hebron,
16:32where his father Ibrahim
16:34alayhi wa sallam
16:35was also buried.
16:37Yaqub alayhi wa sallam
16:39Yaqub alayhi wa sallam
16:42was the grandson of Ibrahim
16:44alayhi wa sallam
16:45and the son of Ishaq alayhi wa sallam.
16:49His title is Israel,
16:50which is why his descendants
16:52are called Bani Israel,
16:54the children of Israel.
16:56He had 12 sons,
16:58and from them came
16:58the tribes of the Israelites.
17:00He was sent as a prophet
17:02to the land of Canaan
17:03and invited people
17:04to believe in Allah.
17:06Because of his deep love
17:07for his son Yusuf,
17:09his other sons became jealous,
17:11a test that Yaqub had to endure.
17:14The Quran introduces Yaqub
17:16as one of the most patient prophets.
17:18When he lost his son,
17:20he did not complain,
17:21but said,
17:21I only express my sorrow
17:23and sadness to Allah.
17:26Surah Yusuf, 86
17:27On his deathbed,
17:30he asked his sons,
17:31Who will you worship after me?
17:33They replied,
17:35We will worship your God
17:36and the God of your fathers,
17:38Ibrahim, Ismail, and Ishaq,
17:40the one true God.
17:42Yaqub alayhi wa sallam
17:44died in Egypt,
17:45but according to his will,
17:47he was taken to Palestine
17:48and buried next to his father, Ishaq.
17:52Yusuf, alayhi wa sallam
17:54Yusuf, alayhi wa sallam,
17:58was the son of Yaqub, alayhi wa sallam,
18:00and was sent as a prophet
18:02to the people of Egypt.
18:04He lost his mother at a young age
18:06and was raised with great love
18:08by his father.
18:08As a child,
18:10he saw a dream
18:11and told his father,
18:13My dear father,
18:14I saw in my dream
18:15eleven stars,
18:16the sun and the moon,
18:18all prostrating to me.
18:20Surah Yusuf, 4
18:21This dream was a sign
18:23that he would one day
18:24become a prophet
18:25and be given a high rank.
18:27Yusuf's good character
18:28and his father's deep love for him
18:30made his brothers jealous.
18:32Out of envy,
18:33they threw him into a well.
18:35A passing caravan found him
18:37and sold him as a slave in Egypt.
18:40The chief minister,
18:41Aziz of Egypt,
18:42bought him and raised him in his home.
18:45Everyone admired Yusuf
18:46for his beauty,
18:47honesty, and purity.
18:49When Yusuf grew older,
18:51the minister's wife, Zuleika,
18:52tried to tempt him.
18:54But Yusuf protected his honor
18:56and ran away.
18:57Even though the truth became known,
19:00he was still imprisoned unfairly for a time.
19:02Even in prison,
19:04Yusuf preached Tawheed,
19:06the oneness of Allah.
19:07He taught morals
19:08and reflection to the prisoners.
19:10He interpreted the dreams
19:11of two inmates.
19:13One of them later
19:14went to serve the king.
19:16Years passed,
19:17and the king had a strange dream
19:18that no one could interpret.
19:20Then they remembered Yusuf,
19:22who explained it,
19:24There will be seven years of abundance,
19:26followed by seven years of famine.
19:29Surah Yusuf, 47
19:31Because of his correct interpretation,
19:35Egypt prepared for the famine,
19:37and Yusuf was placed in charge
19:39of the country's treasures.
19:40Due to the famine,
19:42his brothers came to Egypt.
19:44Yusuf recognized them
19:45and kept his brother Binyamin with him
19:47through a clever plan.
19:49Later, he revealed his true identity,
19:52brought his whole family to Egypt,
19:54and healed his father's blindness.
19:56Yusuf forgave his brothers,
19:59even though they had wronged him.
20:01He told them,
20:03There is no blame on you today.
20:06May Allah forgive you.
20:08Surah Yusuf, 92
20:09This is one of the most powerful examples
20:13of forgiveness in the Quran.
20:15After reuniting with his family
20:17and reaching the highest position in Egypt,
20:19Yusuf still longed to return to Allah.
20:22This shows how elevated his spiritual rank was.
20:27His heartfelt prayer is recorded in the Quran.
20:30My Lord, you have given me power
20:32and taught me the interpretation of events.
20:35Creator of the heavens and the earth,
20:38you are my protector in this world
20:40and the hereafter.
20:41Let me die as a Muslim
20:43and join me with the righteous.
20:45This is the peak of true servitude
20:48and detachment from the world.
20:50After his death, he was buried near Jerusalem.
20:56Shu'aib, alayhi salam
20:57Shu'aib, alayhi salam,
21:01was sent as a prophet to the people of Madian
21:03and the people of Aika.
21:06Madian was located between today's Jordan
21:08and northwest Saudi Arabia.
21:11Because of his sweet and effective speech,
21:14he was known as the orator of the prophets.
21:16His people worshipped idols
21:18and were involved in trade,
21:20but most of them were busy with sins
21:22like cheating in measurements,
21:24unfair weighing, charging interest, and fraud.
21:28He called them to tawhid,
21:30belief in the oneness of Allah and justice.
21:33He said,
21:34Give full measure and weight with justice
21:36and do not reduce people's belongings.
21:39Do not spread corruption on the earth.
21:42Surah al-Araf 85
21:43But his people mocked him and said,
21:46O Shu'aib,
21:47do you tell us to leave the religion of our ancestors
21:50or not to do what we want with our wealth?
21:54Surah Hud 87
21:55Shu'aib, alayhi salam,
21:59warned them that Allah's punishment
22:00would come within three days.
22:03Then, an earthquake seized them
22:05and they were found dead in their homes,
22:07fallen on their knees.
22:09Surah Hud 1194
22:11The people of Aika were also traders
22:14and showed the same corrupt behavior
22:17as the people of Madhyan.
22:18However, their punishment was different.
22:21Days of extreme heat followed.
22:23Then, the sky darkened
22:25and it looked like cool shade was coming.
22:27But from that shade came a painful punishment.
22:31A burning fire came from the sky
22:33and they were all destroyed.
22:36Shu'aib, alayhi salam,
22:38later returned to Madhyan with the believers.
22:41He also met Musa, alayhi salam,
22:44who married one of his daughters.
22:47According to narrations,
22:49Shu'aib, alayhi salam,
22:51lived for 242 years.
22:53Today, there is a shrine in Jordan
22:55in a place called Wadi Shu'aib.
23:00Ayyub, alayhi salam,
23:03Ayyub, alayhi salam,
23:05was sent as a prophet to Bani Israel,
23:08the children of Israel.
23:09He was very wealthy, generous, righteous,
23:12and thankful to Allah.
23:14Allah tested him with both blessings
23:16and great trials.
23:17He first lost his wealth,

25:24one of the Ulul Azm prophets
25:26sent to Bani Israel.
25:28He was born during a time
25:30when Bani Israel were enslaved in Egypt.
25:33The pharaoh of that time
25:34was warned that a child
25:36from Bani Israel
25:37would one day threaten his throne.
25:40So he ordered all newborn boys
25:42from that community to be killed.
25:45Allah inspired the mother of Musa.
25:48Breastfeed him,
25:49and when you fear for him,
25:51place him into the river.

26:19After accidentally killing
26:20an Egyptian man,
26:22he escaped to Madian,
26:24where he married

26:30He was commanded
26:31to go to Pharaoh
26:31and demand that he release

26:39into a snake,
26:40and when he placed
26:41his hand in his chest,
26:42it would come out bright
26:44and shining.
26:45With these signs,
26:47he went to Pharaoh.
26:49Pharaoh rejected the message
26:50and challenged Musa,
26:52calling himself a god.
26:54He accused Musa of magic
26:56and gathered all his magicians
26:57to defeat him publicly,
26:59but when Musa threw his staff
27:01and it became a giant snake
27:03that swallowed all their fake tricks,
27:06the magicians were shocked.
27:09They believed in Allah immediately,
27:11but Pharaoh had them killed.
27:14Allah then commanded Musa
27:16to take Bani Israel out of Egypt.
27:18Pharaoh chased them
27:20with a great army.
27:21When they reached the sea,

27:25He will guide me.
27:27Surah As-Shu'ara 62
27:28Allah told him
27:31to strike the sea with his staff.

27:35The Israelites crossed safely,
27:38and when Pharaoh's army followed,
27:40the sea closed
27:41and they drowned.
27:43Allah said,

28:01his people,

28:05and started worshipping it.
28:08When Musa returned
28:09and saw this,
28:10he became very angry
28:12and prayed to Allah.
28:14Later,
28:15Samiri faced a terrible punishment
28:16and the people repented.
28:20Throughout his life,
28:21Musa taught Bani Israel
28:22the commands of Allah.
28:24He showed great patience

29:34by Samiri

29:38Although Harun warned them,

31:42I have wronged myself.
31:43Now I submit
31:44with Suleyman
31:45to Allah,
31:46lord of the worlds.
31:48Surah An-Namal 44
31:49Suleyman travelled

32:30According to some narrations,
32:31he was from the family line
32:33of Harun,

32:35The Israelites
32:36at that time
32:37were worshipping
32:38a false god
32:38called Baal.
32:40Ilyas invited them
32:41to worship Allah alone,
32:43but they rejected him.
32:45As a result,
32:46famine and disasters began.
32:49Later,
32:50when the people
32:50repented and believed,
32:52Ilyas
32:52Alayhi Salaam
32:53prayed to Allah.
32:55Rain came down
32:56and blessings returned.
32:58But after some time,
33:00the people
33:00went astray again.
33:02They returned
33:02to shirk
33:03immorality
33:04and worship of Baal.
33:06Ilyas warned them again,
33:08but this time
33:08their denial
33:09was even stronger.
33:11During this period,
33:12Ilyas
33:13Alayhi Salaam
33:14miraculously healed
33:15a sick boy
33:16in a village
33:17named Al-Yasa.
33:19Al-Yasa believed in him
33:20and later became
33:21a prophet after him.
33:22According to narrations,
33:24when the people
33:24became more rebellious,
33:26Ilyas
33:27Alayhi Salaam
33:28neared the end
33:29of his life.
33:30After him,
33:31Al-Yasa
33:31Alayhi Salaam
33:32was chosen
33:33as the next prophet.

33:37Alayhi Salaam
33:38Al-Yasa
33:39Alayhi Salaam

33:41twice in the Quran.
33:43In the Torah,
33:44he is known as
33:45Elisha.
33:46He continued
33:46the mission of
33:47Ilyas
33:48Alayhi Salaam,
33:49calling his people
33:50to believe in Allah
33:51and worship him.
33:52But the people
33:53stayed misguided
33:54for a while.
33:56Al-Yasa
33:56was patient
33:57and firm
33:57in his efforts.
33:59He became known
33:59as a just leader
34:00and a strong prophet.
34:02Eventually,
34:03for a time,
34:04his people returned
34:05to the path of truth.
34:07He was given miracles
34:08such as healing the sick
34:09and making food
34:10and water abundant
34:11during times of famine
34:13by praying to Allah.
34:14When Bani Israel
34:16became disobedient again,
34:18Allah sent the Assyrians
34:19to punish them.
34:20Although Al-Yasa
34:21helped his people
34:22with his miracles,
34:23before he passed away,
34:24he appointed
34:25Dhul-Kifl
34:26as his successor
34:28by Allah's command.
34:31According to narrations,
34:32Al-Yasa lived a long life
34:34and passed away peacefully.

34:57worshipped idols.
34:59Yunus,
35:00aleyhi sallam,
35:01preached Tawheed
35:02for years,
35:03but they called him
35:04a liar
35:04and rejected his message.
35:07He warned them
35:08of Allah's punishment
35:09and Allah gave them time.
35:11Thinking the punishment
35:12was near,
35:13Yunus left the city,
35:15believing it was
35:16the right decision.
35:18But it was a mistake
35:19in judgment.
35:20As he had not received
35:21permission from Allah,
35:23he boarded a ship.
35:24During a violent storm,
35:26lots were drawn
35:27and his name
35:28was chosen three times.
35:30He was considered
35:31the cause of the trouble
35:32and was thrown
35:33into the sea.
35:34A great fish
35:35swallowed him.
35:37Inside the darkness
35:38of the fish,
35:39the sea,
35:39and the night,
35:40he made this sincere prayer.
35:42La ilaha illa
35:44anta
35:44subhanaka
35:46inni kuntu
35:47minazalimin.
35:49Surah al-Anbiya

35:51His sincere repentance
35:53was accepted.
35:54The fish brought him
35:55to the shore,
35:56safe and alive.
35:57He quickly returned
35:58to Nineveh.
35:59Meanwhile,
36:00the people felt
36:00the coming punishment
36:01after Yunus left.
36:03They repented altogether
36:04and turned to Allah.
36:06When Yunus returned,
36:07they welcomed him
36:08joyfully
36:09and renewed their faith.
36:11They became
36:11the only community
36:12in the Quran
36:13that was saved
36:14as a whole
36:15after mass repentance.
36:17Surah Yunus 98

36:28of the Quran.
36:28The Quran does not
36:30mention his burial place,
36:32but narrations
36:32suggest locations
36:33like Mosul,
36:35Lebanon
36:35and Palestine.
36:37When the Prophet
36:37sallallahu alayhi wa sallam
36:39returned from Taif
36:40feeling sorrowful,
36:41he remembered Yunus
36:42and found comfort
36:44in his story,
36:45lessons from his story.
36:47Never lose hope,
36:48despair is forbidden.
36:51Allah opens a path
36:52to salvation
36:53whenever he wills.
36:54A nation that repents
36:55together can be saved
36:56together.
36:58Like Adam,
36:58alayhi salam,
37:00Yunus is remembered
37:00as a prophet
37:01whose repentance
37:02was accepted.
37:07Zakariya,
37:08alayhi salam.
37:10Zakariya,
37:11alayhi salam,

37:20He took care of Mariam
37:21and raised her

37:28in her prayer place,
37:29he was amazed
37:30and made a heartfelt prayer.
37:33He called the Israelites
37:34to return to the Taurat
37:36and purify their morals.
37:38Though he was old,
37:39Allah blessed him
37:40with a son,
37:41Yahya,
37:42alayhi salam.
37:44Later,
37:44when the Israelites
37:45rejected the miraculous
37:46birth of Isa,
37:48alayhi salam,
37:49they began slandering
37:51and trying to kill
37:52those who supported him.
37:54Zakariya fled
37:55but was eventually
37:56martyred
37:57when the Jews
37:58cut down the tree
37:59where he had hidden.
38:00His shrine
38:01is believed to be
38:02in Aleppo.
38:03His life and miracles
38:05are described
38:05in different chapters
38:07of the Quran.
38:09Yahya,
38:10alayhi salam.
38:11Yahya,

38:22Jerusalem,
38:22Damascus,
38:23and nearby areas
38:24under Roman rule
38:25at the time.
38:26He was granted
38:27as an answer
38:28to Zakariya's prayer
38:29in old age.
38:31Yahya learned
38:32the Taurat
38:33at a young age
38:34and delivered
38:35Allah's message
38:36to the people.
38:37He was pure,
38:38righteous,
38:39and deeply devoted
38:40to Allah.
38:41When Isa,
38:42alayhi salam,
38:43became a prophet,
38:44Yahya also called
38:46people to follow
38:46the teachings
38:47of the Injil.
38:48Due to the request
38:49of a queen,
38:50Yahya was imprisoned.
38:52He was later martyred
38:53because he did not
38:54approve of King Herod's
38:55unlawful marriage.
38:56This story is mentioned

39:01at the age of 34.
39:03His miracles
39:04included a rock speaking
39:06and stars being seen
39:07in daylight.
39:09He is mentioned
39:09in Surahs Ali Imran,
39:12Maryam,
39:12and al-Anbiya.
39:14According to the most
39:15well-known opinion,
39:16his grave is inside
39:17the Umayyad mosque
39:19in Damascus.
39:22Isa,
39:23alayhi salam,
39:24was one of the Ulul-Azam
39:29prophets sent
39:30to Bani Israel.
39:32He was born
39:32without a father.
39:34His mother was Maryam,
39:35a righteous
39:36and pure woman.
39:38The Quran says,
39:39Allah breathed
39:40into Maryam
39:41from his spirit.
39:42He made her
39:43and her son
39:43a sign for all worlds.
39:45Surah al-Anbiya 91.
39:48Jibreel,
39:49alayhi salam,
39:50came to Maryam
39:51in the form of a man
39:52and gave her
39:53the good news
39:53of a child from Allah.
39:55When she was shocked,
39:57it was said to her,
39:58This is easy
39:59for your Lord.
40:00We will make him
40:00a sign for the people
40:02and a mercy
40:02from us.
40:04Surah Maryam 21.
40:06Maryam went to a quiet place
40:08and gave birth to Isa
40:09under a palm tree.
40:11While still in the cradle,
40:13Isa defended his mother
40:14against the people's accusations,
40:16saying,
40:17I am a servant of Allah.
40:19He has given me the book
40:20and made me a prophet.
40:22Surah Maryam 30.
40:24Allah gave Isa
40:26the Injil,
40:27gospel.
40:28He was sent
40:29to confirm the Torah
40:30and to correct the corrupt
40:31beliefs of his people.
40:32He had 12 disciples,
40:35Hawariyun,
40:36who supported him closely.
40:38Most of his people
40:39rejected him
40:40despite his miracles.
40:41Some even claimed
40:42he was the son of Allah,
40:44a belief that is considered
40:45shirk in Islam.
40:47This idea was introduced
40:49into Christianity
40:50centuries later
40:51through the influence
40:52of pagan Roman priests.
40:54Before that,
40:56the Roman Empire
40:57persecuted Christians.
40:59But when they could
41:00no longer stop the spread,
41:02they tried to control it
41:04by merging it
41:04with pagan beliefs,
41:06causing Christianity
41:07to drift away
41:08from its Abrahamic
41:09monotheistic roots.
41:11The Quran responds
41:13to this corrupted belief
41:14with the verse,
41:16Allah is far above
41:18having a child.
41:19When he decides something,
41:21he simply says,
41:22be,
41:23and it is.
41:25Surah Mariam 35
41:27Although Isa,
41:29aleyhi Salaam,
41:30showed many miracles,
41:32most of Bani Israel
41:33still rejected him.
41:34They tried to kill him
41:35and informed Roman soldiers.
41:38But Allah did not allow
41:39them to succeed.
41:41Instead,
41:42he raised Isa up
41:43to the heavens.
41:44Both Islamic
41:45and Christian sources
41:46agree that Isa
41:48will return to earth
41:49near the end of time.
41:51Isa,
41:52aleyhi Salaam,
41:53performed miracles
41:54such as speaking
41:55from the cradle,
41:56healing the sick,
41:58and bringing the dead
41:58back to life
41:59by Allah's permission.
42:01Christians believe
42:02Isa was crucified.
42:04However,
42:04in Islam,
42:06Isa was not killed
42:07or crucified.
42:08He was raised
42:09to the heavens
42:10and will return one day
42:12to fight the Dajjal
42:13and unite people
42:15and unite people
42:15under Islam.
42:16This return
42:17will lead many Christians
42:19in the West
42:19to accept Islam.
42:24Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam
42:27Muhammad sallallahu alaihi wa sallam

42:42and his mother was Amina.
42:44He came from the noble tribe
42:46of Quraysh,

42:51alaihi sallam,
42:53the son of Ibrahim,
42:54alaihi sallam.
42:56He lost his father
42:57before birth
42:58and his mother
42:59at the age of 6.
43:00He was raised
43:01by his grandfather,
43:02then by his uncle,

43:15At the age of 25,
43:16he married Khadijah,
43:18radiallahu anha,
43:19who admired his honesty.
43:22At 40,
43:22while in the cave of Hira,
43:24he received the first revelation
43:26from Jibreel,
43:27alaihi sallam.
43:28Read,
43:30Surah al-Alaq one.
43:32This marked the beginning
43:33of his prophethood.
43:34The first believers
43:35were Khadijah,
43:37Abu Bakr,
43:38Ali,
43:38and Zayd ibn Haritha.
43:41The idol-worshipping people
43:42of Makkah
43:43rejected his call
43:44to worship only one God.
43:47They accused him
43:47of being insane,
43:49a poet,
43:50or a magician.
43:51The believers were tortured.
43:53He was boycotted,
43:54stoned,
43:55insulted,
43:56and even threatened
43:57with death.
43:58His hardest year
43:59was the year of sorrow,
44:00when both Khadijah
44:02and his uncle,
44:02Abu Talib,
44:03passed away.
44:04Then came the miracle
44:06of Isra and Miraj.
44:08In one night,
44:08he traveled from Makkah
44:10to Jerusalem,
44:11then ascended
44:11to the seven heavens.
44:13At the age of 53,
44:15he migrated to Madinah
44:17with Allah's permission.
44:18This migration marks
44:20the beginning
44:20of the Islamic calendar,
44:22Hijri.
44:23In Madinah,
44:24he established
44:25the first Islamic state
44:27and made treaties
44:28with Jewish tribes.
44:30Allah says,
44:32Indeed,
44:33Allah has greatly favored
44:35the believers
44:35by sending a messenger
44:37from among themselves,
44:38reciting his verses,
44:40purifying them,
44:41and teaching them
44:42the book and wisdom.
44:43Surah Ali Imran,
44:45164.
44:47Some major events
44:48in his life.
44:49Battle of Badr,
44:50624.
44:52Battle of Uhud,
44:53625.
44:55Battle of Khandak,
44:56627.
44:57Treaty of Hudaybiyah,
44:59628.

45:13He ended
45:15tribal revenge traditions,
45:17honored women's rights,
45:18and called the Ummah
45:19to hold firmly
45:20to the Quran and Sunnah.
45:23Allah revealed,
45:24Today,
45:25I have perfected
45:26your religion for you.
45:28Surah Al-Ma'idah 3.
45:29In 632,
45:31he passed away
45:32in the room of Aisha,
45:33radiallahu anha,
45:35resting his head
45:36in her lap.
45:37His noble grave
45:37is inside the Prophet's mosque,
45:40Masjid al-Nabawi,
45:41in Madinah,
45:42known as
45:43Rawdat al-Mutahara.
45:45Muhammad,
45:45sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
45:47taught people
45:48Tawheed,
45:49worship of one God,
45:50good character,
45:51justice,
45:52and mercy.
45:53Though he was an orphan,
45:54he left the greatest legacy,
45:56the Quran and Sunnah.
45:58He said,
45:59There will be a group
46:00of my Ummah
46:01who will believe in me
46:02without seeing me.
46:04They are my brothers.
46:06Hadith
46:06His greatest miracle
46:09is the Quran,
46:10the book sent from Allah.
46:13It is the highest example
46:14of Arabic language,
46:16unmatched in meaning,
46:17wisdom,
46:18and depth.
46:19To those who claim
46:20it was not from Allah,
46:22the Quran itself
46:23gives a challenge.
46:24Bring a chapter like it.
46:26But no one has ever succeeded,
46:28not even one surah.
46:30This challenge
46:31still stands today.
46:33Muhammad,
46:34sallallahu alayhi wa sallam,
46:36was Ummi.
46:37He could not read or write.
46:39Yet he brought a book
46:40so deep,
46:41so perfect,
46:43and so free
46:43from contradiction
46:44that it continues
46:46to guide
46:46all of humanity.
46:48The message he brought
46:49changed hearts
46:51and entire societies.
46:53And even today,
46:54it continues to shine
46:56with the same divine light.
