Amberlynn still isn't feeling well and spends the day playing board games with Krystle. They plan to switch up the time they go to the gym from morning to evening to try to avoid the B monster. Amberlynn records a "get to know me" video where she discusses such things as Foster care, her weight loss journey, rice and her first experience with cellulitis.

00:00:00Good morning, everybody. I literally woke up feeling like death. This little friend does not help either.
00:00:05Hope you guys are having a good day, good night, or whenever you're watching this.
00:00:08This is what I love about vlogging. I can vlog about random ash, but I'm gonna tell you a couple random facts about me.
00:00:21I'm a lesbian.
00:00:22Here is Crystal.
00:00:23This is my girlfriend, Destiny.
00:00:24And this is my girlfriend, Amberlee.
00:00:26Hey, guys!
00:00:27Wifey, what are your intentions with our girl?
00:00:29That's my wife. The intention is to hopefully marry her one day.
00:00:33Stop!
00:00:34I was in foster care for most of my life.
00:00:37My foster care experience, the story, the experience, and the memories, there's like holes.
00:00:42Obviously, I was young, going through traumatic experiences.
00:00:45So I'm only gonna be able to share what I actually remember.
00:00:48I was a nine-year-old taking on the role of being a mother.
00:00:52One day, when I was at school, third or fourth grade, I got a call to the office.
00:00:56There were police there, and I was like, okay, this is weird.
00:01:00I wasn't sure what was really happening.
00:01:02They also called in my brother.
00:01:03I had a brother who is a year younger than me, so he was going to the same elementary school as I was.
00:01:09So that's why he was also called into the office.
00:01:11Me and my brother get put in this cop car.
00:01:13I don't remember many things being explained at that point.
00:01:16And then I had a baby brother who was about one years old, maybe a little younger than that.
00:01:21Next I know, we have my little brother.
00:01:24I don't remember how we got him, because I know we didn't go by, obviously, our home.
00:01:29Next thing you know, we come to this like huge house, and my baby brother's getting taken.
00:01:34It was so sad.
00:01:35I remember a woman with short hair standing at the doorway.
00:01:39Me and my brother were allowed to go and say bye.
00:01:41I was so confused.
00:01:42My little, little brother was being put into a separate home.
00:01:45I remember a lot of tears.
00:01:47My brother didn't really cry.
00:01:48I think he was more so just like shocked by what was happening.
00:01:52They end up taking us to the police station, where I just remember sitting there for hours.
00:01:56Come to find out, I was being put into foster care with my one brother.
00:02:00I think they tried to explain to us what was happening, how they're going to take us to a children's shelter,
00:02:04how my baby brother was in like this foster home.
00:02:07I guess the children's shelter didn't take babies.
00:02:09I think like the youngest that they took was maybe like four or five, from what I remember.
00:02:14Then we get dropped off at this big building.
00:02:18We see like all these random staff.
00:02:21They're like asking us questions.
00:02:22Like there's so many questions and so much paperwork.
00:02:25Me and my brother are young.
00:02:26We just got taken from my parents.
00:02:28I'm over here like bawling my eyes out.
00:02:30My brother's just like traumatic, like stone cold face.
00:02:33I was diagnosed with depression since the age of 10, and I was taking antidepressants for,
00:02:37I don't even know how long.
00:02:38And then they separate us because boy hall and girl hall was obviously separated.
00:02:44Preteens and teens did come together like during the day, but when it, when it came to like showers
00:02:49and like bedrooms, obviously the boys and girls were separated.
00:02:52So when me and my brother were separated, I thought I was never going to see him again.
00:02:55Why are you so scared?
00:02:56But what they did was they had this like sheet, this paper of like someone's body.
00:03:02And we had, I had to, I don't know like what my brother went through.
00:03:05I'm pretty sure he had to go through the same thing.
00:03:07I had to get completely naked in the shower.
00:03:09They had to look all over my body.
00:03:10They had to write down if I had any marks anywhere, et cetera, et cetera.
00:03:13And now that I think about it now, it seems very weird.
00:03:17I feel like as the woman that I am now, I would have declined, but I feel like if I would have
00:03:21declined, I would have gotten in trouble because while living in the children's shelter, like
00:03:25you had to do everything that you're told to do.
00:03:26They had like a point system and you got points for doing what they told you to do.
00:03:29And then if you declined, you got like negative points.
00:03:32Like you didn't get to do like games or go on outings and stuff like that.
00:03:35It was like a P plus, P minus system.
00:03:37Privilege plus means that you got the right amount of points that day and you got to do
00:03:41all the good things.
00:03:42P minus means you're privileged negative, which means you don't get to do the fun stuff
00:03:47or anything like that, which what?
00:03:49Every day we lived our life based off of these points.
00:03:52Like that's what we were as human beings was just point system.
00:03:56So after they checked my body and all that, I had to shower.
00:04:00They found that I had head lice.
00:04:01Obviously I had head lice.
00:04:03I had head lice for majority of my childhood until I went to the children's shelter and
00:04:07they did the craziest thing to my hair.
00:04:10I have not had head lice since then.
00:04:12And when I tell you my parents tried to get rid of my head lice multiple times and it never
00:04:17worked.
00:04:17I haven't had it since then.
00:04:18So whatever they did, it worked.
00:04:20Love that for them.
00:04:20It was actually dinner time by that point.
00:04:23And that's when I got to meet all of the other kids.
00:04:26That is when I got to meet the preteens, which was 12 and under.
00:04:29And then once you reached 13, you got to go with the teens.
00:04:33I was in the group home for two years when I was 10 and 11.
00:04:37That was when I was separated from my brother.
00:04:38So after being put into several different foster homes with strangers and even one foster home
00:04:44with my aunt for over a year, I found out that my brother was actually going to be an
00:04:49adopted child.
00:04:50He was going to be put in closed adoption.
00:04:52Somewhere in my younger years, my mom did have another child.
00:04:55I held him once.
00:04:56She put him up for closed adoption the day he was born.
00:04:59I know my two brothers are out there and more than anything, I just hope that one day
00:05:03they can look at me and I can look at them.
00:05:05We know that we're family.
00:05:06I miss them every day.
00:05:07Even if I knew one brother longer than the other one, I love them both equally.
00:05:10More than anything, being able to see them again would mean the world to me.
00:05:14It was exactly two hours after I filmed that clip when I got a call.
00:05:19I got some of the best news that honestly I could have ever wished for.
00:05:23It was something I've wanted for so long now.
00:05:26I will talk to you guys about it.
00:05:27I promise it will eventually happen.
00:05:30I'm just not ready to talk about it right now.
00:05:32But I did not finish filming for that day.
00:05:35I was on an absolute insane roller coaster of emotions, of tears and laughter and a lot
00:05:43of my past just was dug up and it was a whirlwind.
00:05:48I had emotions and feelings that I had never felt before.
00:05:52I know a lot of people hate when I come on here and say something happened and I can't
00:05:56talk about it.
00:05:57It's not that I can't talk about it because I can.
00:05:59It's just I'm simply not ready.
00:06:01I want to keep this for me for a little bit.
00:06:03I'm okay though.
00:06:04I have three younger brothers but two were put into closed adoption.
00:06:07One of them found us.
00:06:09I am beyond happy.
00:06:11I just wanted to let you guys know that.
00:06:12Which meant I would never be allowed to see him again.
00:06:14It broke my heart and it still does.
00:06:17And it happened 12 years ago.
00:06:19In a way I felt like my own child was being adopted.
00:06:22I was thrown around into different foster homes with my other brother.
00:06:25Soon we got separated.
00:06:27We were separated for a few years.
00:06:28It was very hard.
00:06:29A lot of the time I felt alone and just confused.
00:06:33When I turned 12, my parents finally decided to get their act together.
00:06:38We went to court and we had a six month trial to live with them.
00:06:41Poof.
00:06:42That trial turned into two years.
00:06:45It was a failed trial.
00:06:46The whole time my family was just getting worse and worse.
00:06:49I started smoking.
00:06:51I turned to the wrong type of people to hang out with.
00:06:54My brother started acting out.
00:06:55He started hitting me.
00:06:56My parents got worse.
00:06:58Their drug addiction went to a whole new level.
00:07:01We actually lived in a trailer.
00:07:03Run down, moldy, holy, drug infested, disgusting trailer.
00:07:07That's putting it lightly.
00:07:09The dirtiest thing you can imagine.
00:07:10Imagine that like 20 times more.
00:07:14Wow.
00:07:14Okay.
00:07:15School was hard.
00:07:16I got made fun of every single day.
00:07:18I was the smelly kid.
00:07:19I was the fat girl.
00:07:21That's how people knew me.
00:07:22I was fat Amber.
00:07:23Whenever I lived with my parents, that's mainly where we lived.
00:07:25I never saw my dad, even though we were under the same roof.
00:07:28He had people coming in and out of the home all hours of the day, all hours of the night
00:07:32to buy his drugs.
00:07:34My parents actually got separated at this time, which was hard to handle.
00:07:37I guess it was best for them, but it was still hard.
00:07:40Even though my parents were separated, my mom was living down the street with her boyfriend
00:07:44in a different trailer, which was literally 10 feet away.
00:07:47I was in class yet again.
00:07:50I get called to the office.
00:07:51About school, I never went.
00:07:53I didn't care about school.
00:07:54Things that were happening at home were ruining my education because that's all I thought about.
00:07:59I'd either miss school or I just not care.
00:08:02Like I'd go and I wouldn't do any of the work.
00:08:04But as I was in class and one day I got called to the office.
00:08:06The cops came and yet again, me and my brother were being put into foster care.
00:08:10You don't know what to do when you're put into strangers' homes.
00:08:13You don't know what to do when you're put into a children's shelter.
00:08:15You kind of just have to go with the flow.
00:08:17It's like you're caged in.
00:08:18But this time was a little different.
00:08:20I was in the shelter for months and I had this daily visit with my mom where I was allowed
00:08:27to spend the whole day with her, with my brother as well, once a week.
00:08:31I was just texting my friend simply joking saying I should live with you because she
00:08:35was my best friend at the time.
00:08:37And little did I know, two months later I was living with her.
00:08:40It was absolutely insane.
00:08:42I don't know how it happened.
00:08:43And it happened so quickly and honestly, at the time, I thought this was beginning to
00:08:48a whole new life that I was going to love every minute of.
00:08:52But I was definitely wrong.
00:08:53When I had the opportunity to live with my best friend, I was so happy.
00:08:57But her and I became distant.
00:08:59I was still depressed.
00:09:00As much as I wanted to be happy, I was still inside depressed.
00:09:03All I did was sleep.
00:09:05I just stayed in my bed and watched TV and I ate and I ate.
00:09:08And I ate and I ate.
00:09:10Food was my best friend.
00:09:11I think she noticed and she didn't like being around me.
00:09:15Neither did my own brother.
00:09:16I was alone.
00:09:17It was just traumatic.
00:09:18I was confused.
00:09:20I actually saved my baby brother because my parents were on so many drugs when I was
00:09:24about nine years old.
00:09:26My brother was choking really bad.
00:09:28He was in his crib.
00:09:29He was just a baby.
00:09:30The curtain string was around his neck.
00:09:32It was completely purple.
00:09:33Couldn't breathe.
00:09:34And I saved his life.
00:09:35When my brother was born, he was so adorable.
00:09:38Gosh, I loved him.
00:09:39As days went on, I did kind of take the role of being a parent in a way.
00:09:43I still remember one time in particular when my parents were on so many drugs that they
00:09:48were like passed out.
00:09:49My baby brother was crying.
00:09:51I wasn't sure why.
00:09:52So I went into the room of where they were and it was because his crib was by a curtain.
00:09:56Curtain string was wrapped around his neck.
00:09:58I will never forget that day as long as I live.
00:10:01Even now, it's emotional for me.
00:10:03His face was purple.
00:10:03He was screaming, crying.
00:10:05To put it shortly, I had to save his life.
00:10:07And I did.
00:10:07Then I realized that I don't think my parents will ever change.
00:10:11I was a nine-year-old.
00:10:12I was taking on the role of being a mother.
00:10:15I am on a weight loss journey.
00:10:17I don't understand why when I do like a really good workout and I have really good workout
00:10:22routine and stuff like that, why I gain weight.
00:10:24Makes me confused and it makes me unsure of what I want to do in my weight loss journey.
00:10:30I want to lose weight, but I also want to be healthy.
00:10:32I know I can be healthy without exercising, but I feel like I won't be as healthy as I
00:10:37want to be without exercising.
00:10:39So of course, I went on Google and you know, everything says it's because, oh, you're gaining
00:10:44muscle.
00:10:45But it's not true.
00:10:47You do not gain muscle in two days.
00:10:50It's just making me wonder, is exercising worth it?
00:10:53This happens every single time.
00:10:55Whenever I add exercise into my journey, I don't lose weight.
00:11:00Do not gain muscle in two days.
00:11:03And if I do, it literally is like 0.2 pounds like every three weeks.
00:11:08It just doesn't make sense.
00:11:09Do not gain muscle in two days.
00:11:12That's not fast progress.
00:11:14I don't like that type of progress.
00:11:15In two days.
00:11:16My whole weight loss journey from the beginning has always been live in moderation.
00:11:21A calorie is a calorie, whether it's a brownie or a banana, but I am starting to believe that
00:11:28maybe that's not the truth.
00:11:30Within these next few weeks, I'm going to be doing a lot of changing and adjustments in
00:11:33my life and my lifestyle and everything else.
00:11:36Don't get me wrong.
00:11:37There will still be brownies in my life, but not as many.
00:11:40I lost 89 pounds eating nothing but rice and potatoes.
00:11:42Carbs are carbs.
00:11:43There's healthy carbs and there's bad carbs.
00:11:45And I eat both.
00:11:46By the way, this person said that my journey isn't supposed to be a zigzag.
00:11:53Whatever that's supposed to mean.
00:11:54Journeys are like roller coasters.
00:11:56Your life is like a roller coaster.
00:11:57There's going to be ups and there's going to be downs.
00:11:59And if you don't like my downs as much as you like my ups, I don't know why you're watching
00:12:03my video.
00:12:07I'm just trying to show the honesty in it.
00:12:10You guys, I have lost over 60 pounds by doing this weight loss journey myself.
00:12:15And yes, it consisted of carbs.
00:12:18I lost 89 pounds eating nothing but rice and potatoes.
00:12:20I'm a calorie counter.
00:12:21I don't care how much carbs is in something and I never will.
00:12:24If you guys follow me along on my journey, most of you know that I get on track for a
00:12:29day and then I mess up a day later and stuff like that.
00:12:32But I've been on track for about 10 days now.
00:12:35So for me, that's a triumph all in itself.
00:12:38I like to live in the motto of every day is a new day.
00:12:41I don't want to number them anymore because my journey, it hasn't been.
00:12:44A weight loss journey.
00:12:46It just hasn't.
00:12:47And that was my goal here to lose weight.
00:12:49And I'm on day what, 16 if I was numbering these like 15, 16.
00:12:55There's like no weight loss.
00:12:57I mean, yeah, I lost 3.6 pounds in this one day, but it doesn't count.
00:13:00This doesn't, I don't know.
00:13:01It's just, it's just been a mess.
00:13:02I don't regret doing it because now a lot of people can see kind of where I'm coming
00:13:06from, the struggles that I have.
00:13:08So officially today, actually 497.8.
00:13:11This is the lowest I've been in this journey.
00:13:13Water weight can be a bitch.
00:13:15Excuse my language.
00:13:16You need to ignore negativity and just think of positivity.
00:13:19I've been on a weight loss journey, you know, for like seven and a half years.
00:13:23I'm going to stop now.
00:13:24My passion is writing.
00:13:26I can and I will.
00:13:28I swear, when I was a freaking kid in school, they did not have cute stuff like this.
00:13:33Like, what even is this cuteness?
00:13:35Like, look at this one again.
00:13:37Like, oh my god.
00:13:40Look.
00:13:41How cute.
00:13:44Like, I literally can't get over this.
00:13:46Like, it's not fair at all.
00:13:47Like, really?
00:13:48What's with the cuteness?
00:13:49And then look at this one.
00:13:50Like, okay.
00:13:52And then this one.
00:13:54And then this one.
00:13:55And then this one.
00:13:57And then that one.
00:13:58And then that.
00:13:59It's never-ending cuteness.
00:14:01Oh my gosh.
00:14:02This right here is a very dangerous area for me.
00:14:06Oh yeah, I have that.
00:14:07Don't be surprised though, because...
00:14:10Perfect for all my thoughts, because we have lots of thoughts.
00:14:13I love journals.
00:14:13I'm like the journal queen.
00:14:15We just got out of TJ Maxx, and I got some goodies.
00:14:20Just two things.
00:14:22I got...
00:14:22This is so cute!
00:14:26Like, I can't.
00:14:28Isn't it cute?
00:14:29Why are you looking at me like that?
00:14:31Oh, I'm sorry.
00:14:32Disney's not feeling good.
00:14:33But, um, yeah.
00:14:34Can you guys see this?
00:14:35Like, it's kind of dark out right now, but it's pink with gold flamingos.
00:14:39And it's just like a little notebook.
00:14:42Like, I don't know what I'm going to do with that quite yet.
00:14:44And then, can you hold this baby real quick?
00:14:49Do you want to go home?
00:14:51No.
00:14:52Are you sure?
00:14:53I don't want you feeling bad.
00:14:56Okay.
00:14:57And then I got a planner.
00:14:58My favorite food is rice.
00:15:00I have been obsessed with making a kimchi rice.
00:15:03I want to show you how I make it.
00:15:04I know this is not traditional in any way.
00:15:07Like, not traditional.
00:15:09I just want to let that be known, because I make things my way,
00:15:12and how I like them to taste.
00:15:14This is probably going to sound super lame for some people,
00:15:16but I have never in my life made real rice.
00:15:20I've lost 89 pounds eating nothing but rice and potatoes.
00:15:23I've always been that whole five-minute rice type of gal.
00:15:25Like, the rice that are in those boxes that take, like, literally five minutes.
00:15:29So, it's wet because I just washed this.
00:15:31This is only if you want to, but I'm going to use some olive oil.
00:15:36So, I add onions in here.
00:15:40Obviously, the main ingredients.
00:15:51Huge bag of rice.
00:15:53Rice.
00:15:56Basama tea kind.
00:15:58Before you add anything else, you're going to want to just cook it a little bit.
00:16:04Stir it.
00:16:05Make sure it doesn't get burnt, because that is not the goal.
00:16:08You're going to want to get one of these.
00:16:11This is quinoa and brown rice with garlic.
00:16:13Delicious.
00:16:14You're just going to open it like so,
00:16:16and then you're going to put it in the microwave for a minute and a half.
00:16:19I add some pepper.
00:16:22Some salt.
00:16:25Some garlic powder.
00:16:28Even though I added onion, I'm still going to add some onion powder.
00:16:32I cannot pronounce it.
00:16:36Don't mind me.
00:16:48Brown rice is going pretty well.
00:16:50I will be adding some low-sodium soy sauce.
00:16:57For dinner tonight, I just want to play it simple.
00:17:00This is an Amy's vegan TV dinner.
00:17:02It's curry.
00:17:03It's okay.
00:17:03I already tried it, and I'm just having some white rice with some soy sauce.
00:17:07Honestly, the simplest things I love.
00:17:11Obviously, some sriracha.
00:17:13I wish I would have showed you this before I, like, mixed it all together,
00:17:22because it was actually a really cute presentation.
00:17:24Obviously, add how much you want,
00:17:26because some people don't like that spicy, and other people do.
00:17:29Now, this is the part that you guys are probably going to question,
00:17:32but I do add some ketchup.
00:17:34I feel like it really, really makes it good.
00:17:37This right here is amazing.
00:17:39I love being vegan.
00:17:43Not too much.
00:17:48Stir it up.
00:17:52Okay, so after I add anything else, what I do is kind of flatten it,
00:17:56because I want to make it crispy.
00:17:59That is my goal.
00:18:00I just made some rice.
00:18:03I have it on medium.
00:18:04Don't put it too high, because it will burn.
00:18:10It is complete.
00:18:11So, just let it sit like that for three minutes.
00:18:14This took 20, and it's worth it, and I made it.
00:18:18Yay!
00:18:18Okay, so it's been about three minutes, and you're going to flip it.
00:18:22See how it turned, like, that golden brown?
00:18:25That is exactly what I aim for.
00:18:29And you're just going to do this process.
00:18:31Mmm, I don't know.
00:18:35I do it about, like, five times, four times.
00:18:38It depends on how fast, but that is what makes it crispy and delicious.
00:18:43So, I'm going to do it again.
00:18:44White rice is one of my favorites, and Mexican rice.
00:18:47All kinds of rice.
00:18:54I have leftovers from last night.
00:18:56Brown rice.
00:18:57I honestly think rice is my favorite food.
00:18:58So, this is the kimchi I use.
00:19:02I got it from Walmart.
00:19:03I only add about four pieces of it.
00:19:07These ones have pretty big pieces, and then I add some of the flavoring, obviously, because
00:19:11that is what makes it really good.
00:19:13I don't add that until I have crispied the rice, because you don't want to, like, make
00:19:18your cabbage crispy.
00:19:19You don't want to make the kimchi crispy.
00:19:20No, no, no.
00:19:21Later on, we're also going to add some sesame seeds.
00:19:23So, I added the kimchi.
00:19:25Now, I'm just going to put some green onion, scallion, whatever you want to call it, and
00:19:33sesame seeds.
00:19:35So, I'm just going to pour the rice and quinoa.
00:19:49I will be turning it again.
00:19:54Remember, you do not want to burn it.
00:19:56It is easy to do, and then just go through the process again.
00:20:04Since my mom's been here, we both have our own little bad habits.
00:20:08She notices my bad habits, and something I never noticed.
00:20:12She said, you eat rice every day, and I was like, rice isn't that bad for you, but I'm
00:20:17eating, like, big quantities of it, and I never noticed how often I eat rice until
00:20:21she came here.
00:20:22So, for the final, like, product, I know, again, this is going to be weird for some people,
00:20:26but I add raw onion to the bottom.
00:20:30It adds so much flavor.
00:20:32If you do not like raw onion, then don't do this part.
00:20:36I'm just having kind of what I had for my first meal earlier, the rice.
00:20:41Normally, I like this a little crispier, but I think today, that is good.
00:20:45So, what I do as the final thing, I add a little bit more greens, a little bit more
00:20:51raw onion, and just a little bit more of this.
00:20:59I just got done with dinner, and I noticed, like, I've been eating a lot of rice today,
00:21:04and it's been, like, white rice, like, not 100% the greatest for you.
00:21:09When all my white rice is gone, I'm pretty sure I'm going to, like, gradually transfer
00:21:12over to brown rice because that's, like, healthier for you.
00:21:15Rice as a full staple has definitely been helping me the last few days, for sure.
00:21:20That is the final product.
00:21:22So, I hope you guys enjoyed.
00:21:23I know this is different, but this is how I like it.
00:21:26Just putting it with white rice.
00:21:29So, just remember, when you're following a recipe, if you don't like something,
00:21:32don't add it.
00:21:38But if you'd rather have something in it,
00:21:39definitely do that.
00:21:45This is a lazy meal.
00:21:53So, I just got done eating that rice, and I made it.
00:21:57It was actually kimchi fried rice.
00:21:59I've been looking up, like, a lot of different recipes for it.
00:22:02I've been really interested in trying it.
00:22:04I kind of just, like, made it my own.
00:22:06Let's be real.
00:22:07I like to really just make things my own because that's just who I am.
00:22:11Like, I have a different taste than everybody.
00:22:12White rice thing, though.
00:22:14Like, how I've, like, changed my eating recently.
00:22:17The scale is definitely loving me.
00:22:18Like, for sure.
00:22:19I am overly, overly, overly grateful for all of you.
00:22:23I have had cellulitis three times.
00:22:25One time, I was hospitalized.
00:22:27Hey, you guys.
00:22:27So, I've been really into this whole story time bit.
00:22:30So, I have a story for you guys.
00:22:33That is just a story to you guys, but it was reality for me.
00:22:36And let me tell you, it was freaking scary.
00:22:40So, let's just get on to this bit.
00:22:42Okay.
00:22:42Where do I even begin?
00:22:44Okay.
00:22:45At the time, I was in a foster home.
00:22:47I was 16, okay?
00:22:50Back then, I was obsessed with MTV.
00:22:53Like, that is what I did.
00:22:54I would go to school.
00:22:55I'd come home and watch MTV.
00:22:57And that was when The Hills, the reality show, was, like, a hit.
00:23:01And I was obsessed.
00:23:03OMG.
00:23:03Don't even know.
00:23:04So, I was sitting there watching the new episode of The Hills.
00:23:07And I paused it on a little DVR.
00:23:10It was actually a TiVo.
00:23:12We were using TiVo.
00:23:13And I was like, you know what?
00:23:14I want some ice cream.
00:23:15So, I went and got some ice cream.
00:23:17And that was, like, when my hardcore overeating was in, like, full force.
00:23:21The bowl of ice cream that I got was quite big.
00:23:23I took a lot.
00:23:24Let me just say that.
00:23:25So, I was sitting there eating it.
00:23:26It was vanilla ice cream, if you want to know.
00:23:29I was watching The Hills.
00:23:30I was enjoying my time.
00:23:32My foster parents were not home.
00:23:33But my brother was home.
00:23:35My foster sister and my brother's girlfriend, which was my foster sister's best friend.
00:23:40They were all hanging out in the kitchen.
00:23:41I was kind of just, like, chilling by myself.
00:23:44That happened quite frequently.
00:23:45I was just, you know, watching The Hills.
00:23:47And I finished my ice cream.
00:23:49And I want to say, like, 10 minutes later, I started getting, like, the horrible shivers.
00:23:53Like, I was freezing.
00:23:56And I was shaking.
00:23:57Like, hardcore.
00:23:58Like, my jaw was like, and I was like, so I went into my bedroom.
00:24:03I got my blanket, which was a fluffy pink blanket.
00:24:06So, it definitely warmed me up when I needed it to.
00:24:09That wasn't working.
00:24:10And I was like, okay.
00:24:12So, I put on two pairs of pants.
00:24:13That was, like, where my first go-to went.
00:24:15My first also thought was, okay, I ate too much ice cream.
00:24:19Instead of just getting a brain freeze, I'm getting a body freeze.
00:24:21I was like, whatever.
00:24:22So, I put on two pairs of pants.
00:24:24I was covering up with the living room blanket and my pink blanket.
00:24:27That still wasn't working.
00:24:29So, I started just feeling kind of, like, not right.
00:24:32That is really the definition of how I was feeling.
00:24:34I just wasn't feeling okay.
00:24:35I didn't finish the episode of The Hills.
00:24:37I just went straight into my room.
00:24:39And at the time, my room was in the dining room.
00:24:42It was closed off from the kitchen.
00:24:44That was really the only place me and my brother could stay in that foster home at that time.
00:24:48Since my brother and his girlfriend and my foster sister were all in the kitchen,
00:24:53they were right there by the room.
00:24:54And I was, like, shivering.
00:24:57And I just didn't feel right.
00:24:58So, I got under my blanket.
00:25:00And I ended up putting on another shirt, too.
00:25:02So, I was wearing two pairs of pants and two shirts and my blanket.
00:25:05I also had the living room blanket with me.
00:25:07They were in there laughing and just doing their thing.
00:25:10And for some reason, like, I was getting really annoyed with them because I wasn't feeling okay.
00:25:13And I was, like, can you guys shut up?
00:25:15Like, I started screaming at them.
00:25:16And they were just, like, okay.
00:25:18Like, what the hell?
00:25:18And so, me and my brother were sharing a room at the time.
00:25:21And I took his blanket and started using his blanket and nothing was working.
00:25:26It was really weird.
00:25:28And it was a pretty early night.
00:25:29When I was in high school, which was then, I'd probably go to sleep about 2 a.m.
00:25:33But it was, like, 9.
00:25:35And I was tired.
00:25:36I don't know why.
00:25:37I didn't do anything different than usual.
00:25:39I mean, I must have been sleeping for a while because I woke up the next day.
00:25:44It was the weekend.
00:25:45It was probably noon.
00:25:47And that's a long time to be sleeping.
00:25:48And I was sweating my ass off, let me tell you.
00:25:52My brother still kept the blanket on me, which was super sweet of him.
00:25:55I guess he might have slept without a blanket.
00:25:57I don't really know.
00:25:57So, I took the blanket off, gave it back to him, put the other living room blanket where it goes.
00:26:01And then I took off my extra pair of pants, my extra shirt, and I ran to the bathroom like the speed of lightning.
00:26:07And I just puked.
00:26:08I felt so sick, like death.
00:26:12I mean, I was puking probably every hour.
00:26:16I didn't want to eat or nothing.
00:26:18So, that whole day was horrible.
00:26:19I was on and off shivering, on and off sweating, on and off shivering, on and off sweating.
00:26:23I was puking, and I had diarrhea, and I couldn't eat.
00:26:25So, it became bile, and it was disgusting, and it was horrible.
00:26:27I felt like someone ran me over.
00:26:29And I was like, what is happening?
00:26:30Obviously, we all assumed I had the flu.
00:26:32So, I went to sleep that night, and I slept for two days.
00:26:36It was probably, that's a little exaggeratory.
00:26:39It wasn't two days.
00:26:41Okay.
00:26:41I went to sleep that night.
00:26:42I slept that whole night.
00:26:44Then I slept that whole day.
00:26:46And then I slept that whole night.
00:26:47And then I woke up that morning.
00:26:49So, it was like a day and a half.
00:26:51Everyone knew, like, I had the flu.
00:26:53So, no one was like too worried.
00:26:54They weren't, like, trying to wake me up or anything.
00:26:56I do remember one point, my brother woke me up, and he was just like, sis, are you okay?
00:27:01And I was just like, I'm fine.
00:27:03Like, you know, I didn't eat at all.
00:27:05When I did, you know, sleep that, those day and a half, I puked a few times.
00:27:10That was the only time I woke up was to puke.
00:27:12So, when I woke up, my brother was there, and he's like, what's going on?
00:27:16You've been sleeping?
00:27:17Like, are you hungry?
00:27:17I was like, no, I'm fine.
00:27:18But my leg really hurts.
00:27:20Like, it really hurts.
00:27:22And he's like, okay, well, let me look.
00:27:24And he's like, ooh, why is it so red?
00:27:26And I was like, I don't know.
00:27:27It's probably just because I've been sleeping, and I've been laying on it weird.
00:27:30And that's literally what I thought.
00:27:31And he goes, no, no, I don't think so.
00:27:35That kind of looks like what our foster dad had.
00:27:37And I'm like, what?
00:27:38I wasn't sure what he was talking about.
00:27:40So, he went and got my foster grandma, which also lived with us.
00:27:43And she came and looked, and she's like, ooh, we got to tell so-and-so, which was my foster mom.
00:27:48I was like, okay, why?
00:27:50And she's like, this is no good.
00:27:52And I was like, what are you talking about?
00:27:53And she's like, this is what your foster dad had.
00:27:55And I was like, well, what did he have?
00:27:58She didn't really tell me what it was.
00:28:00I was just like, okay.
00:28:01And then I went back to sleep.
00:28:02The next day, my foster mom was like, okay, we're going to go to the hospital.
00:28:06We need to get this figured out.
00:28:08It was worse.
00:28:08My leg was swollen.
00:28:11And it was like this hard, reddish, purplish, just like my whole calf.
00:28:17Oh, I can't explain it.
00:28:18And that whole night, I didn't get up, right?
00:28:20So, when I went to get up, the pain I felt, I have never in my life felt such pain.
00:28:26I couldn't walk.
00:28:28Like, it took every single ounce of me to walk.
00:28:31And I hadn't showered since I got sick.
00:28:33So, I was like sickly stinky, just being honest.
00:28:36And my foster mom was like, okay, well, we need to go to the doctor.
00:28:39You need to take a shower first.
00:28:41I could barely take a shower.
00:28:42I was in so much pain.
00:28:43And I could barely get in the car, could barely get out, blah, blah, blah.
00:28:46So, we went.
00:28:47They were on tests.
00:28:48And they said, you have cellulitis.
00:28:50And I was like, what?
00:28:52And how they explained it to me then was it is a infection in the blood.
00:28:57They're like, do you have any scabs on your feet?
00:28:59Do you have any cuts on your leg?
00:29:02What could have caused this?
00:29:03I explained to them the only thing that I can remember happening was I stubbed my toe,
00:29:09my big toe, really hard on wood, like, the day before I got really sick.
00:29:13And they're like, bingo.
00:29:14And I was like, huh?
00:29:15Because I stubbed my toe.
00:29:16I'm, like, on my deathbed.
00:29:18Like, what are you doing?
00:29:18They're like, yeah, that's pretty much what happened.
00:29:21So, the issue is anyone at any size could get cellulitis.
00:29:25But the fact that I was gaining weight really rapidly at that age and me stubbing my toe
00:29:32caused, like, a little chemical reaction to happen.
00:29:35I'm not a scientist.
00:29:36I'm not a doctor.
00:29:37But somehow me stubbing my toe caused this to happen.
00:29:39So, they're like, we're gonna put you on antibiotics and that's gonna clear it all away.
00:29:43You'll be able to eat again.
00:29:45You'll stop puking.
00:29:46You won't be in pain anymore.
00:29:48So, what they did was they took a marker and they marked exactly the outline of my cellulitis.
00:29:52And I was like, okay.
00:29:53So, antibiotics, I normally don't take medicine, but I'm literally dying right now.
00:29:58Like, because the doctor said, like, people die from cellulitis frequently.
00:30:02All the time.
00:30:02Because they don't get the help they need.
00:30:04Their temperature goes too high.
00:30:05Got the outline.
00:30:06Got the medicine.
00:30:07Went home.
00:30:09I finally decided to try to eat.
00:30:11It was actually the next day.
00:30:13I've been drinking water.
00:30:14That's the only thing I was putting into my body.
00:30:16And the doctor told me that's not okay.
00:30:18Because especially with this antibiotic, I was going to need it.
00:30:21Because it was going to make me feel even worse.
00:30:23Because the antibiotic was going to make me feel nauseous.
00:30:25I was like, oh great.
00:30:26I already feel nauseous.
00:30:28Like, cool.
00:30:28What are they trying to do to me?
00:30:29So, he's like, you need to eat.
00:30:31Since I was going to start taking that antibiotic.
00:30:32That day, I woke up.
00:30:34Nobody was home because my foster parents worked a lot.
00:30:36And it was a school day, but I couldn't go to school.
00:30:38It was my first day taking the antibiotic.
00:30:39So, I was just going to make a cup of noodle because I was not hungry.
00:30:43Like, I was puking.
00:30:44I was in pain.
00:30:45I kept, like, blacking out.
00:30:47This is when I started getting freaked out, to be honest.
00:30:50My temperature was 103.
00:30:56It's not that crazy.
00:30:58When I got the cup of noodle, I warmed it up in the microwave.
00:31:01And when I went to take it out, I completely blacked out.
00:31:04Like, I wouldn't say, like, I blacked out as in passed out.
00:31:06But it's like, I almost forgot what I was doing.
00:31:08The noodles and the broth went all over me.
00:31:12Boiling hot.
00:31:13Just came out of the microwave.
00:31:14Thankfully, I didn't get burned or anything because I didn't have it in the microwave for too long.
00:31:17That's when I knew.
00:31:18I was like, damn.
00:31:19Like, I ain't feeling good at all.
00:31:20That's when I knew.
00:31:21So, I just went in the refrigerator.
00:31:22I ate a piece of bologna.
00:31:24I didn't even care anymore.
00:31:25And I ended up puking it all up.
00:31:27But I was taking my antibiotics.
00:31:28So, I had to miss about a week of school.
00:31:30After about five days, we went back to the doctor.
00:31:34Because the outline I made on my leg, my cellulitis wasn't getting smaller.
00:31:38It was getting bigger.
00:31:38I was feeling worse.
00:31:40I was eating less and less and less.
00:31:42Like, I wasn't eating at all.
00:31:44But, like, when I got the antibiotics, like I said, I was trying to eat a little bit.
00:31:46But then I, like, stopped.
00:31:48The pain was getting worse.
00:31:50I was sleeping more.
00:31:51Everything was just getting worse.
00:31:52I went to the doctor.
00:31:53And they said, these antibiotics are not working.
00:31:55And I was like, oh, okay.
00:31:59They said, you need to go to the hospital.
00:32:01And for some reason, when they said that to me, I freaked out.
00:32:04I started hysterically crying.
00:32:07And I really don't know why.
00:32:08I think it's because the whole, like, people die from cellulitis.
00:32:11And I wasn't getting better.
00:32:13I hated myself.
00:32:14I was like, why did I do this to myself?
00:32:16It wasn't even my fault.
00:32:17Like, everyone stubs their foot.
00:32:18Like, it happens.
00:32:19The doctor said that my temperature was 105.
00:32:22And that he didn't know how it was even functioning.
00:32:24So, I was rushed to the hospital.
00:32:26And they put an IV in me.
00:32:28They said that the IV that I had, they were giving me a stronger, different type of antibiotic.
00:32:34So, I was going to feel exceptionally nauseous.
00:32:37But they didn't even want me to eat.
00:32:38Like, they weren't even focused on that in any shape, or form.
00:32:41They just wanted me to get better.
00:32:42So, they said that they're going to give me that antibiotic through the IV.
00:32:46Just so I could have that in my system faster.
00:32:49Because I guess through, like, your vein or whatever.
00:32:51Like, it gets in your blood faster, obviously.
00:32:53That, like, makes sense.
00:32:54And my foster mom sat with me the whole time.
00:32:56After I was in the hospital for a bit, they finally released me to go home.
00:33:00And they're like, you can't go to school.
00:33:03You have to rest for at least two weeks.
00:33:05You have to get better.
00:33:07They prescribed me with a different antibiotic.
00:33:09And they said, you know, just keep eating.
00:33:11Keep trying to get fluids in.
00:33:13And instead of taking the antibiotic once a day, you need to take it three times a day.
00:33:16And I was like, oh my god.
00:33:18Because really, the antibiotic did make me feel worse.
00:33:20Really, really worse.
00:33:22Every day, I did.
00:33:24I slowly got better.
00:33:25And I started to eat more.
00:33:27And I started to drink more.
00:33:29I was sleeping accurately.
00:33:31I was still in a lot of pain.
00:33:32I couldn't go to school.
00:33:33I missed about a month and a half of school.
00:33:35It was scary.
00:33:37It was one of the scariest things ever.
00:33:39Something that was actually funny about the whole thing.
00:33:41Like, my leg was so swollen and so bad that when it was healing, my skin just peeled off.
00:33:49Like, in big goops.
00:33:52It was disgusting.
00:33:54It was horrible.
00:33:56I actually ended up getting cellulitis one other time after that.
00:34:00Nowhere near as bad.
00:34:01My doctor at the time knew exactly what antibiotic to put me on.
00:34:05And I was able to actually get better less than a week because I knew it was coming before it came.
00:34:13Really weird.
00:34:14Like, I just finally knew.
00:34:15My foster dad and my foster dad's brother both have had cellulitis.
00:34:20That's how my foster mom knew, like, a lot about it and knew that I had to go to the doctor.
00:34:25And that's why my foster grandma knew, like, we need to get you checked out.
00:34:28I'm just grateful it only lasted a month and a half.
00:34:31I'm grateful I only had to stay at the hospital for a couple days.
00:34:33My foster dad's brother actually was hospitalized for five months because of it.
00:34:39It's not something anyone should ever go through.
00:34:42It honestly scared me because when I was rushed to the hospital, like, I could have died.
00:34:48105 temperatures was really scary.
00:34:51I am very grateful for my foster mom to be there by my side the whole time.
00:34:55It's definitely something I worry about frequently.
00:34:57Whenever I'm scratched on the leg or whenever I stub my toe, I'm scared to get it again because
00:35:02I don't have insurance and I don't have the money for antibiotics.
00:35:06I don't have the money to just go to the hospital or go to a doctor.
00:35:09But I haven't had it since I was 17.
00:35:12So, knock on wood, if that's wood.
00:35:16Oh, Twinkie, it was me!
00:35:18What, dog?
00:35:20Yeah.
00:35:21So, if you guys ever, like, get those symptoms, like a flu, you can get cellulitis anywhere,
00:35:26actually.
00:35:26It could be in your fingers.
00:35:27It could be your head, your eye, whatever.
00:35:29Both times it was my leg.
00:35:31Same with my foster dad and his brother.
00:35:33And you could be skinny.
00:35:34You can be big.
00:35:35It doesn't matter.
00:35:36The fact that I am bigger is actually a culprit as to why I got it.
00:35:40I don't know why I got it the second time, but it was nowhere near as bad as the first time.
00:35:45So, I wanted to share that with you guys.
00:35:47It was just a really scary, traumatic experience that I went through.
00:35:52I tell a lot of people this story and they're like, cellulitis.
00:35:56Like, a lot of the time when I tell people I've had cellulitis, they're like, oh yeah,
00:36:00I have cellulite too.
00:36:01I'm like, cellulitis is not cellulite.
00:36:04Like, two different things, girl.
00:36:06My hair touches my butt.
00:36:09About a month ago, my hair was past my butt.
00:36:11I cut off, like, a little over a foot of it.
00:36:14So, I'm sort of, like, shirtless right now.
00:36:17So, you guys can't see me.
00:36:18This just happened.
00:36:20Yeah.
00:36:20I needed some haircut and I still need more cut.
00:36:24I have a lot of split ends.
00:36:26This is nothing but dead hair and I really just want more cut off.
00:36:30But I'm, like, shaking because I'm going to cut my hair or trimmed it in the longest time.
00:36:36I kind of am going to stop there.
00:36:37I did this one.
00:36:39Actually, Destiny would help me with that.
00:36:41And then Destiny came and did more.
00:36:44Maybe in a few days, I'll cut more off.
00:36:46But that's enough for now because this is making me nervous and I'm getting so much anxiety over it.
00:36:51We went and bought these cutting scissors today.
00:36:53If you're wondering why there's a towel in the sink is because I thought, like, my hair wasn't going to come out so perfectly like this.
00:36:59I thought it was just going to be a bunch of droplings and I didn't want it to get all over the floor.
00:37:02So, now it's, like, right at the top of my butt.
00:37:05Like, right there, girl.
00:37:06But goals.
00:37:07Not really.
00:37:08But I've been thinking for, like, a really big change for the new year is I want to cut it, like, up to here or something.
00:37:14I don't know.
00:37:15Like, I haven't even mentioned that to Destiny and it was kind of something that just, like, came to my head today.
00:37:19I don't know what she'd think of it.
00:37:21Look at it.
00:37:22She must have cut it.
00:37:24No.
00:37:28Oh, my goodness.
00:37:30Say no if she makes a video and says, hey, should I cut my hair?
00:37:34Should I not?
00:37:35Say no.
00:37:35I mean, it's not really up to her.
00:37:37My body, girl.
00:37:38My hair, I do what I want.
00:37:39Whatever, I do what I want.
00:37:41I do what I want.
00:37:43Whatever, I do what I want.
00:37:45Probably a little shorter.
00:37:46Like, right here.
00:37:47The last time I had my hair that short was, I don't know, like, five years ago.
00:37:51And I kind of sort of miss it.
00:37:52And it's like, I don't do anything with my hair now.
00:37:54I'm just, like, over it.
00:37:56Super over it.
00:37:56Like, it's always just like, hey, girl, how you doing?
00:37:58Like, I don't care about you.
00:38:00Like, it doesn't even care about me.
00:38:03I had long hair, like, almost my whole life.
00:38:05I really wanted long hair when I was younger.
00:38:07So, the two most popular things that I would do is I'd put on my mom's heels.
00:38:11And then I had this bright pink.
00:38:13I will never forget this in my life.
00:38:14I had this bright pink sweater turtleneck.
00:38:18And the turtleneck part, I'd put around my head.
00:38:20And I would have it, like, the sweater, like, draping over my head.
00:38:25This started in, like, kindergarten.
00:38:27And I was in first grade.
00:38:28Okay.
00:38:28We all know when you're younger, you do weird things.
00:38:31Those were some weird things that I did.
00:38:33My hair was, like, up to here when I was in first grade.
00:38:35And I really wanted long hair.
00:38:37So, I'd fake having long hair.
00:38:38And I didn't even care.
00:38:39I'd go outside in the trailer park.
00:38:41And I'm just like, mm.
00:38:42Got my mom's shoes on and got my pink sweater on my hair.
00:38:45Like, I did not care.
00:38:46I don't know if it's, like, a comfort thing.
00:38:48But I definitely want to do something different.
00:38:50So, that might definitely be in the cards.
00:38:52If I do do it, I'd want to do it, like, in December.
00:38:55Because it is December.
00:38:56And I want to, like, just, like, start anew.
00:38:58Like, new year, new me.
00:38:59That's so annoying.
00:39:00But it's, like, I love a new year to start fresh.
00:39:03Which brings me to my next topic.
00:39:05By the way, you guys are wondering what's my arm.
00:39:07That is a hickey from my girlfriend.
00:39:10And it's healing.
00:39:11So, if you're, like, new to my channel,
00:39:12don't think I'm, like, being abused or anything.
00:39:14Because I'm not.
00:39:14I literally despise finger foods.
00:39:16I always have to be using a fork.
00:39:18I hate using my fingers.
00:39:20Even if it is a finger food.
00:39:21How else am I going to eat it?
00:39:27I was born in Key West, Florida.
00:39:29I'm obsessed with this kitty cat so much.
00:39:33Miley Cyrus is by far, by far, my most favorite celebrity
00:39:37in the whole entire world.
00:39:39I believe in aliens.
00:39:40My top three fears.
00:39:42Death, heights, and tornadoes.
00:39:44Tomorrow, for, like, 48 hours, we have a tornado chance of, like, 70%.
00:39:51And I have never lived anywhere that was that high.
00:39:55And I'm really scared.
00:39:56It said there's going to be, like, scattered tornadoes.
00:39:58I'm terrified.
00:40:00Like, we have to drive in that weather.
00:40:01Oh.
00:40:02Like, the tornado that happened, like, two weeks ago,
00:40:04it was literally the percentage of, like, 20%.
00:40:07So the fact that it's, like, 70% now, I'm honestly terrified.
00:40:10Like, I really, really hate scary weather.
00:40:13And it's pouring out here.
00:40:16Destiny went to go get the car because I didn't want to get my purse wet.
00:40:19And, like, the zipper is messing up for some reason.
00:40:22So all my stuff would have been, like, super soaked.
00:40:24And I hate when anyone drives in this kind of weather because accidents do happen.
00:40:28Here she is.
00:40:29Thanks, baby.
00:40:45I'm actually clocked out of work right now.
00:40:47I'm still here only because the weather is really horrendous outside.
00:40:51About a week ago, I told you guys about how there was a tornado in my neighborhood.
00:40:56Well, there was a tornado that actually hit my apartment.
00:41:01We have a friend who lives in those apartments.
00:41:03She sent us messages.
00:41:04And she showed me on Snapchat the damage that her apartment got.
00:41:09She's currently going over to my apartment number to see if anything happened to my area
00:41:13because our apartment complex is pretty big.
00:41:15And I'm really worried about Wasabi.
00:41:17I'm really worried about Twinkie.
00:41:18And I just can't believe how bad the weather is right now.
00:41:21It's horrendous.
00:41:22There has been deaths.
00:41:23There has been buildings that have absolutely just collapsed.
00:41:26Roads are blocked.
00:41:27It's just, it's really bad.
00:41:29And I honestly just can't believe it.
00:41:30We're going to be home in about an hour.
00:41:32So, I guess I'll see when I get there.
00:41:35All right, you guys.
00:41:36We're home.
00:41:37We have a flashlight up.
00:41:39And one little lonesome candle.
00:41:42I don't know if you guys can see me.
00:41:44So, let me just get the flashlight.
00:41:46Hold it up like this.
00:41:48And tell scary stories.
00:41:50Joking aside, let's get serious.
00:41:52There was bad damage here.
00:41:54Windows are broken.
00:41:55Trees are falling.
00:41:56Fences are caved in.
00:41:57There's no power.
00:41:58Cops and ambulances everywhere.
00:42:00We had to go like a very long different way just to get into our apartment.
00:42:05I do want to say Wasabi and Twinkie are okay.
00:42:08There's just trees and, oh my god.
00:42:10Trees everywhere.
00:42:11It honestly is just crazy that this happened.
00:42:13I'm over it.
00:42:14Like, goodbye tornadoes.
00:42:15Like, if you guys know a lot about tornadoes, you know that they jump.
00:42:18They have a mind of their own.
00:42:19I'm literally shocked we're not caved in.
00:42:21None of the complex is like caved in.
00:42:23No roofs are taken off.
00:42:24But the apartments next to us, all those are just collapsed.
00:42:28And a lot of people lost their homes.
00:42:29And it's honestly devastating.
00:42:31I'm really grateful.
00:42:32The tornado did go through our apartment complex.
00:42:34And I don't understand why we're not the apartment that's collapsed, you know?
00:42:38It's weird how it works like that.
00:42:40And I'm so grateful.
00:42:41Honestly, I know like the damage is really bad around us.
00:42:44And I'm just grateful that I'm alive and our animals are alive and we still have a home
00:42:49to come to.
00:42:49My heart really goes out to everyone else.
00:42:51The people who were injured, killed, lost their homes and everything.
00:42:54It's crazy that this has happened to people.
00:42:56Hey, guys.
00:42:56We still have no power.
00:42:58We see the damage in the daytime now.
00:43:00And it's horrible.
00:43:02Absolutely horrible.
00:43:03Like, the whole city or town, I don't know, that I live in is just, it's mind-boggling.
00:43:08I'm literally just, ugh.
00:43:11I'm working today and so is destiny.
00:43:13That's okay because we have no power at home and there's nothing really to do.
00:43:17So, at least our work has power and stuff.
00:43:20I'm looking out my window right now and it's sad.
00:43:23There's trees falling.
00:43:25And my neighbor got us, missed us by a split second.
00:43:29A tree has fallen on their screen door.
00:43:31This is like a fence that's behind my apartment complex.
00:43:34And all the way down, all the way to the end, it just, trees have fallen, the fence has broken.
00:43:43A lot of it has been picked up.
00:43:44So, that's kind of cool.
00:43:46So, I'm not showing everything but I just wanted to show you guys.
00:43:48This is actually the puppy park at our apartment complex.
00:43:52And there's just trees everywhere.
00:43:57Look, you can't even get through this path at all.
00:44:01So, this is right in front of our apartment.
00:44:06They're trying to fix the power right now.
00:44:09We decided to go out to eat because our power is out.
00:44:12We can't cook and all our food is either melted or warm when it's not supposed to be.
00:44:20Hence, our refrigerator, our microwave, our stove and none of that works.
00:44:24So, okay, you guys, as you know, a tornado hit our neighborhood and I wanted to show you like where it got actually the worst.
00:44:30This is the apartment complex down the street from us.
00:44:32So, there's a closet that wasn't even tied.
00:44:35This is actually, this is actually the apartment complex just down the street from us, like less than a minute.
00:44:46And there's more buildings in the back that are really bad but it's mainly, this is the only one we can see from here.
00:44:53Unless we turn, are we allowed to turn right here?
00:44:55Yeah, that's where people are turning because that's the building.
00:44:57Okay.
00:44:59Oh, the inside.
00:45:01This building wasn't touched but the buildings on the inside were.
00:45:05But currently at our apartment complex, they're fixing our roof because I guess when the tornado went through our apartment complex, it broke windows, you know, messed up fences and trees fell and stuff like that.
00:45:22But I guess our roof got really messed up and I didn't even like notice.
00:45:26Obviously, because I'm not tall and I can't see the roof.
00:45:35My heart just goes out to everybody who lost their homes because that's, it's just absolutely insane.
00:45:56Like, it could have been us.
00:45:57What?
00:45:58Holy crap, that person's home is ruined.
00:46:02Oh, my God.
00:46:05Oh, I didn't realize it came down this way.
00:46:08Unless it came down this road.
00:46:09Oh, man.
00:46:20The house is literally ruined.
00:46:24Look at that one, it's up on its side.
00:46:32There's a lot of people that are almost like this.
00:46:34Oh, my God.
00:46:35Oh, my God.
00:46:35That's someone's home.
00:46:36I'm literally about to cry.
00:46:39Hardcore cry.
00:46:40Christmas is by far the best time of year.
00:47:00We had the day off today.
00:47:02We ran some errands.
00:47:03We came home.
00:47:03I started to clean.
00:47:05And then Destiny turned on our song, which is Thinking Out Loud by Ed Sheeran.
00:47:09We started dancing together.
00:47:10And then I was like, hey, Destiny, you want to open one of your gifts?
00:47:13Just, I don't know, just out of the freaking hell of it.
00:47:16She opened one, then another, and then another, and then this happened.
00:47:19Are you guys ready for this?
00:47:25Ready?
00:47:29Like this happened.
00:47:31You made the cats run.
00:47:37Did that hurt?
00:47:38No, but you saw it ran into the damn door over there.
00:47:46Wasabi?
00:47:47There's a box right here.
00:47:48There's a little rice faucet.
00:47:51Baby, did you think it was going to be a soft landing?
00:47:54Because it was like a loud noise.
00:47:59What the hell?
00:48:02Okay, show them your, like, some of your favorite gifts that I got you.
00:48:06Okay.
00:48:07Because I know they're totally curious.
00:48:09Like, look at all this stuff.
00:48:11I got her some random, like, stupid things.
00:48:13Not stupid things.
00:48:14I knew she'd like it.
00:48:15Like an egg omelet wave.
00:48:16Like, poop bags.
00:48:18Things that, you know, that are, like, on the cheaper side.
00:48:21But, okay.
00:48:21You have to talk kind of loud so they can hear you.
00:48:25This is one of my favorites.
00:48:26I just opened it.
00:48:27I'm going to just drop this.
00:48:29Look at this jacket.
00:48:30It's the coolest shit I've ever seen.
00:48:34Trainer.
00:48:35And then it says Pokemon League champion.
00:48:38I'm number one.
00:48:40You are number one, baby.
00:48:41That is the coolest shit I've ever seen in my life.
00:48:43I've never seen anything like it.
00:48:45Oh, oh.
00:48:47Please show them those Santa underwear.
00:48:49Like, I can't with them.
00:48:49Where did they go?
00:48:50Right there.
00:48:51Oh, it's you.
00:48:53There's black Santa on here.
00:48:56I thought that was cool.
00:48:58That's why I love it.
00:48:59Like, diversity.
00:49:01I think there's, like, a little shade, a different shade of brown, but I can't tell.
00:49:05Diversity.
00:49:06Santa does not have to be white.
00:49:07Neither does Jesus.
00:49:08Suicide Squad CD.
00:49:11This cup.
00:49:12She got it at the actual Disney store.
00:49:13I went in there so many times to look at the Star Wars stuff and I never saw this.
00:49:17But look at this shit.
00:49:17It looks like a cam.
00:49:19But it's one of those little sucky things with a little straw.
00:49:23Wait.
00:49:23Things that are over...
00:49:25You'll finish in a minute.
00:49:27I just want to show them.
00:49:28Some of the favorites that I got her that are, like, over here.
00:49:31I got her this Pixels 3D, which I thought was pretty cool.
00:49:34This is a Smithsonian, like...
00:49:37How would you explain that?
00:49:39It's a projector.
00:49:40It projects the planets under the ceiling.
00:49:42Yeah.
00:49:42That was pretty expensive.
00:49:44Like, but it was worth it.
00:49:45She really likes planets.
00:49:46And I got her some, like, cool shoes.
00:49:47I got her a few pairs of shoes.
00:49:49This is a picture frame.
00:49:50They actually plug in a...
00:49:52What do you call it?
00:49:54Like a memory card or something.
00:49:55Yeah.
00:49:56And then it plays, like, a ton of photos at once.
00:49:59You can put it wherever.
00:50:00I don't know.
00:50:01Just so much stuff.
00:50:02It's crazy.
00:50:03It's me.
00:50:04This is my absolute still number one favorite.
00:50:06She said, I might change through all this stuff.
00:50:08But this is my favorite.
00:50:10It is...
00:50:10My phone will control him through Bluetooth.
00:50:13Remote control R2-D2.
00:50:15And it says that he...
00:50:16And this was $100.
00:50:18So she said...
00:50:18Yes, it was $100.
00:50:20He lights up.
00:50:21He makes sounds.
00:50:23Let me open this little thing.
00:50:26He...
00:50:26He's controlled by the app.
00:50:28You can send him on different missions.
00:50:30Like, you can send him to go to certain places and he'll go.
00:50:33He talks and explores on his own.
00:50:36Like, he will roam on his own if you're not doing it, too.
00:50:39And if you play music, he'll dance to it.
00:50:42And he'll guard your room.
00:50:43That's awesome.
00:50:44That is the coolest shit.
00:50:45It's my favorite.
00:50:46And I love that it's R2-D2, because I know they have a BB-8 one.
00:50:49I don't know if he does the same things.
00:50:50And I know the BB-8 one is $100 or $150.
00:50:53And he's only this big.
00:50:55Okay.
00:50:55Right.
00:50:56So...
00:50:57You should show them...
00:50:58This is the coolest shit I've ever seen.
00:50:59Good.
00:51:00I'm glad you like it.
00:51:00You should show them the maroon stuff I got you.
00:51:03The shirt, the sweater, and the shoes.
00:51:07Like...
00:51:07Okay.
00:51:08Okay, here's the shoes, because they're right here.
00:51:12Oh my god, these shoes are perf.
00:51:14She did, like, the most perfect job with my stuff.
00:51:17I've been wanting a maroon pair of Vans, though, for forever.
00:51:20But these Vans are...
00:51:21It says right here, ultra cush.
00:51:24And they're...
00:51:24They just...
00:51:25They...
00:51:25There's, like, nothing to them.
00:51:27But they look so badass.
00:51:29And they're so, like...
00:51:31They're, like...
00:51:32There's nothing...
00:51:32Like, literally, there's nothing to them.
00:51:34They're so light.
00:51:34And they just look different.
00:51:36Like, on the bottom, like, you can definitely tell that they look different.
00:51:38And they just...
00:51:41And they feel really comfortable.
00:51:43And I got her a shirt to kind of match it.
00:51:45Like, she can...
00:51:45She don't have to...
00:51:46She don't have to wear it together, but it's a Vans shirt as well.
00:51:50And I just thought it was super cute.
00:51:52Let's see.
00:51:53Right?
00:51:54Yeah.
00:51:55See the little pocket?
00:51:57The pocket's so cute.
00:51:58It, like, adds, you know, effect.
00:52:01And then I got her this sweater that's, like, maroon.
00:52:04It's over there.
00:52:05I can't really get to that.
00:52:06Oh, yeah.
00:52:06I don't know where it is either.
00:52:07But it's, like, maroon.
00:52:08That maroon.
00:52:09And, like, a dark gray.
00:52:12I thought that would look cute together.
00:52:15Yeah.
00:52:21Loves it.
00:52:22So, yeah.
00:52:23Just a ton of random stuff.
00:52:25Because I've been wanting maroon stuff, too.
00:52:27Yeah.
00:52:28Lots of shirts.
00:52:29Because she loves t-shirts.
00:52:31And just random things.
00:52:33I got her a popcorn maker.
00:52:35And I bought the popcorn for it.
00:52:36Just so much random stuff.
00:52:37I don't even know.
00:52:38Like, she did perfect.
00:52:41Look at that Mr. Potato Head, though.
00:52:42Oh, where's that at?
00:52:43Oh, yeah.
00:52:44That's Mr. Potato Head.
00:52:45That's, like, Star Wars.
00:52:46This is a speaker that, like, when you listen to music, there's colorful water that goes up.
00:52:52So, that's kind of cool.
00:52:53I don't know, you guys.
00:52:54Just so much stuff.
00:52:56And you guys were really interested in, like, seeing some of the things I got her.
00:52:59But we just can't even, like, tell you everything.
00:53:01It's just, like, so much.
00:53:02One of my favorite things I got her are those shoes right there.
00:53:06I really like those.
00:53:08And you guys are wondering, because I think you guys saw this.
00:53:10Those plates are because we gave the cats and the dog some treats.
00:53:15Not human food.
00:53:16Don't worry.
00:53:16It was just, like, treats for animals.
00:53:19And by the way, I put my chair over here.
00:53:21I don't know.
00:53:21What do you guys think of this little spot right here?
00:53:23I actually love it so much.
00:53:26This looks super cute.
00:53:27I think I'm going to keep right there just plain Jane right now.
00:53:30Twinkie, you're so sad.
00:53:36Oh, I've got to fix through it a little bit.
00:53:39Make her feel better.
00:53:40But, yeah, I love the flowers that Destiny got me.
00:53:43It just looks really awesome over there.
00:53:44I love how it's looking.
00:53:46I need to pick up that mess.
00:53:47This mess is going to take days to clean, I feel like.
00:53:49We're going to reuse these boxes, so that's a good thing.
00:53:52And, yeah, so you're happy, baby?
00:53:53Yes, I'm trying to open R2-D2.
00:53:55Oh, my gosh.
00:53:55Are you going to try playing that?
00:53:57Yes.
00:53:58I don't think he needs batteries.
00:54:00Oh, my God.
00:54:01I have a call.
00:54:01You're going to charge him.
00:54:02Yeah.
00:54:03That could be it.
00:54:04Because being that expensive, he can't go last on batteries.
00:54:14Oops.
00:54:14Oops.
00:54:23Oh, my gosh, baby.
00:54:28This is perfection.
00:54:30Perfection.
00:54:31Do you have a least favorite gift?
00:54:35I'm sorry about those Shaq shoes.
00:54:37What?
00:54:38The Shaq shoes.
00:54:39Why?
00:54:40I mean, I like them.
00:54:41I just don't know if I'll ever actually wear them.
00:54:43Are you serious?
00:54:44I'm really sorry.
00:54:46Okay, if you guys are wondering what those look like.
00:54:49Those are right there.
00:54:52I mean, I don't see anything wrong with them.
00:54:54I honestly thought you would like those shoes, so that cracks me up.
00:55:01I'm sorry.
00:55:02I mean, it's not that I don't like them.
00:55:03It's not like that I'm like, oh, my God, they're the worst thing in the world.
00:55:07I mean, it's kind of hard to shop for gifts when, you know, somebody has everything that
00:55:13they want, whatever.
00:55:14And I'm sure a lot of you are like, why did you let her open those early?
00:55:17I don't know.
00:55:19Like, Black Friday's coming up.
00:55:20We'll do some stuff then.
00:55:22It kind of was just, it was just in the moment, and it, like, just happened.
00:55:25I don't know.
00:55:26There's no, like, on-on-on-one.
00:55:27Do I regret it?
00:55:28I don't know.
00:55:29I feel a little sad because it was nice having that anticipation, but I'm super excited to
00:55:34clean up this mess.
00:55:35But the sucky part is, all these boxes are going to have gifts in them for, like, her
00:55:39family and stuff.
00:55:40So we're still going to have lots of boxes in here, which kind of sucks because it's
00:55:44like, ugh, what?
00:55:45He does take batteries.
00:55:47He does take batteries?
00:55:48You scared me.
00:55:49I thought he was broken.
00:55:50So, are you just going to wait to play it then?
00:55:54Are you going to go get batteries?
00:55:55I'm not going to get batteries.
00:55:56Yeah, it's pretty late right now.
00:55:58All right, well, I don't know what else to show you guys.
00:56:02It's just a bunch of random.
00:56:05There's a Pikachu.
00:56:06I don't know.
00:56:07I got her some coloring books.
00:56:09I got her a thing to hold Keurig, like, cups in.
00:56:13Lots of Star Wars stuff.
00:56:15I got her some Harley Quinn stuff, like, posters.
00:56:17Oh, show them the picture I got you to put in your room.
00:56:21The glass one?
00:56:23Yeah.
00:56:23Yeah.
00:56:33She has, every time we go to Target, she sees that picture and she's like, oh, I want
00:56:36it, but I don't know.
00:56:37So I surprised her.
00:56:39Oh, the Pikachu lunchbox.
00:56:41That's super, super cute.
00:56:48All right, baby, you can say goodbye to YouTube.
00:56:50Bye, YouTube.
00:56:52Bye, YouTube.
00:56:53Okay, so I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
00:56:55A lot of you wanted to vlog.
00:56:57A lot of you wanted, can I learn how to talk, girl?
00:57:00Like, I can't talk when I vlog.
00:57:02I don't know what it is.
00:57:03A lot of you wanted me to vlog her opening the gifts on Christmas, but we did it early
00:57:07and I didn't want to vlog the actual process.
00:57:09I wanted it to be kind of just, like, special and there's so much stuff we didn't show you,
00:57:12but we just showed you, like, you know, the things that, like, standing out the most.
00:57:16I also got her this, like, drawer thing.
00:57:18It's, like, a blue drawer thing that I got from, I don't remember where I got it.
00:57:23No, was it Best Buy?
00:57:24See you doing it, too?
00:57:25Big Lots.
00:57:27That's, she really, she really liked that.
00:57:29So that's awesome.
00:57:29She's going to put that together and use that.
00:57:30But we're going to go.
00:57:33Tell them goodnight.
00:57:34Oh.
00:57:37Where is it?
00:57:38Tell them goodnight.
00:57:41No?
00:57:42You're always so talkative, but not right now.
00:57:46Huh?
00:57:47Okay.
00:57:49Alright, well, I hope you guys enjoyed this video.
00:57:51Totally random.
00:57:52Christmas early, but, you know.
00:57:55You know how we do.
00:57:56We're crazy in this house.
00:57:58Alright, I'll see you guys in my next video.
00:58:00Bye!
00:58:02Literally, she said bye.
00:58:03She's out.
00:58:03I am insanely random.
00:58:05I majored in criminal justice.
00:58:07In high school, I went through a moment where I really, really, really wanted to be a correction
00:58:11officer.
00:58:12Or, like, working in prisons.
00:58:13Like, I really wanted to do that.
00:58:15Like, really bad.
00:58:16Someone said, did you go to college?
00:58:18What for?
00:58:18How much are you in debt?
00:58:20I did go to college.
00:58:21I was going for my associates in criminal justice.
00:58:24I regret going because I was, like, forced to go.
00:58:29That's, like, a whole other story.
00:58:31And I did not want to go for criminal justice, but I went.
00:58:33I was talking to it.
00:58:34And I am over $19,000 in debt.
00:58:38It's hard.
00:58:38I pay two payments each month.
00:58:41I like to dance.
00:58:43I like to move it, move it.
00:58:47I like to move it, move it.
00:58:51I like to move it, move it.
00:58:55I like to move it.
00:58:58I have faith and hope.
00:59:19I am inspired to reach my lowest weight this year.
00:59:22We got McDonald's because my co-worker got me a little McDonald's gift card for my birthday.
00:59:28And Destiny got a Happy Meal.
00:59:30And this came with it.
00:59:31We're going to finish watching this movie.
00:59:32We're about a fourth of the way through.
00:59:35We're probably just going to lay down.
00:59:37I don't know what to say or what to do.
00:59:40I am obsessed with hand soap or anything that smells delicious.
00:59:43This one is Twilight Dream.
00:59:45Only a dollar at Walmart.
00:59:46And smells so bomb.
00:59:58So I just wanted to really quickly show you guys which ones I got.
01:00:15I don't have to justify.
01:00:16I'm in love with this girl.
01:00:18One more out at a cookout.
01:00:21A cookout.
01:00:23We drink.
01:00:24That's the, you know, that's just what we do.
01:00:26I'm sure many people drink on occasion.
01:00:28That's something we do.
01:00:29I'm being honest.
01:00:34Crystal's acting a fool.
01:00:36I should not put this up.
01:00:38I think I'm not vlogging for all these things.
01:00:41No, we just like to have fun and that's just what happens.
01:00:47And everybody knows alcohol, alcohol makes you more, you know, but it's not like we're crazy.
01:00:54Crystal, it's not like we're being crazy.
01:00:57We're just with a, you don't like me?
01:00:59A ton of, Crystal, you're acting a fool.
01:01:04We're just with, you know, some friends.
01:01:11I would trade my happiness for the people I love to be happy.
01:01:16When you love someone and you care about someone, you just want them to be happy.
01:01:20And I very much want Destiny to be happy.
01:01:22If she's happy, I'm not saying I'm happy, but when she's happy, I'm happy for her.
01:01:27Does that make sense?
01:01:28That was only just a little tidbit about me.
01:01:30I hope you guys enjoy.
01:01:32All right, so sexy sports.
01:01:38Ugly book.
01:01:41If you're curious, we're playing Likewise.
01:01:44Exotic Vegetable.
01:01:48I don't know if you guys watch Pretty Little Liars, but it's definitely something I'm obsessed with.
01:01:53I am on season three, episode 12, I think.
01:01:57I'm actually watching it via Netflix.
01:01:59I've watched quite a few episodes the last couple of days.
01:02:01Okay, probably like three episodes.
01:02:03I truly, honestly, 100 million thousand trillion percent think Aria is A.
01:02:08If you search Aria is A into YouTube, so many theories will come up.
01:02:14Everything makes sense.
01:02:16It's all coming together.
01:02:17If you guys watch Pretty Little Liars, I think you'd understand where I'm coming from.
01:02:20It's definitely something that's like literally driving me insane.
01:02:23I need to know who A is right now.
01:02:25Tomorrow, Crystal and I are gonna go back to the gym.
01:02:28I am so freaking excited.
01:02:29Someone actually gave us the idea, instead of going in the morning, why not go at night?
01:02:33As most of you know, I am a binge eater, and I tend to do it more so at night.
01:02:37I definitely, definitely, really, really believe that going to the gym during the time
01:02:42that I normally do my daily binge is gonna help me a lot.
01:02:45We normally wake up, have breakfast, then go to the gym.
01:02:48Now we're gonna switch it up.
01:02:49I think we're gonna try going around 7 p.m.
01:02:51after all our meals are complete, besides our after our workout meal.
01:02:55Normally, we have a protein bar.
01:02:57We have a lot to choose from.
01:02:59My favorites are these builder bars.
01:03:01I also really like the power crunch bars.
01:03:03Crystal just has some random ones, like the power bar.
01:03:06We have some quest bars.
01:03:08Right after the gym, that's the only snack slash dessert slash food we will be able to
01:03:13eat.
01:03:14So stick around tomorrow to see if we actually follow through and go to the gym.
01:03:17I know we've been saying that we're gonna go for quite some time now, and then we don't
01:03:21go, but this time I really feel like we will.
01:03:23Crystal, did you throw away the guacamole you didn't like?
01:03:25Oh, okay, I'll throw it away.
01:03:27Crystal's obsessed with guacamole, but she got a kind of target that she,
01:03:31she didn't like.
01:03:32It's this all-natural, holy avocado guacamole.
01:03:36She ain't care for it.
