We return for Day 20. Amberlynn took a couple days off from Vlogmas, spending time with Destiny’s family, dealing with new kitten Scarlet not getting along with Wasabi, her vegan journey, and so many more ups and downs. They show us the gifts they bought for the gift exchange at work. We find out their plans for Christmas and Amberlynn’s birthday, a trip to Destin, FL. Amberlynn tries on the gift from Destiny’s mom, something she was worried about trying on. Day 21 and she’s wearing the wrong shoes to the work gift exchange and all day instead of taking her work shoes with her. She brushes off the sore feet with some TGI Friday’s. They decide to take Wasabi and Scarlet to Destiny’s dad’s house for the night On Day 22 because there have been tornado warnings. They put the two kittens who are not getting along in a bathroom while they are at work. At work, Amberlynn comes face to face with actual carolers. Later that night, they go to Walmart again, and Amberlynn pretends not to know how to smoke. Day 23 starts off with a close call between her purse and Destiny’s helpless dog. There’s a Q&A with their coworker KC before she does her rounds. She has some last-minute gifts to wrap and some packing to do for their upcoming vacation. Amberlynn works on Christmas Eve, cleaning up the residents’ holiday feast. They have their own holiday feast at the Waffle House before going to Destiny’s dads where Destiny films herself making brownies. It’s Christmas Day and after a gift exchange with Destiny’s family and another busy dinner service, they are off to Destin. Once in Destin, Amberlynn’s 25th birthday celebration begins with a cake and ends with a pink tie. On the 26th day of Vlogmas, the two spend the day out shopping and have dinner at Fudpuckers. Amberlynn is back to work on the 27th and it’s officially her birthday, so the two go out to eat before and after work. Amberlynn ends the day at Destiny’s dad’s house and lets us know why the house is so quiet. She updates us on her veganism journey. Day 28 is the gift haul where Amberlynn shows us the gift she and Destiny received over the holidays. The tornados hit and Amberlynn fills us in on the damage on Day 29 of Vlogmas. They end the day with McDonalds.

00:00:46my work and i'm super excited if you guys don't know what dirty santa is it's where you buy a

00:00:57say who it's from and then say there's like 10 people playing you put one through 10 in a hat

00:01:22there are some guys and there's mainly girls there's gonna be like two guys and like tons of

00:02:06it i want to show you what destiny got we're also wrapping our friend's gift we went with her
00:02:11tonight to get it because she didn't want to go alone is this her gift yeah let's take a peek
00:02:16i told her how much i liked this blanket at walmart so she got it and she said i can

00:02:22also got these really fancy like donuts like they look legit instagram worthy well they're donuts but
00:02:28cookies destiny she got this box what she's gonna do is she got all this coal so she's gonna have
00:02:35coal on there there's gonna be a paper on here that says you've been naughty so they're gonna
00:02:39assume that's all they got but underneath there's gonna be a walmart gift card there was a $15 limit
00:02:45but like you don't have to just go buy $15 you can do more than that you can do less

00:02:50i'm like super excited for it i'm nervous though because the boss the head boss the owner of the
00:02:56facility we work in is gonna be there and i get so nervous around him so i'm like i'm just

00:03:01nervous in general because all the bosses are gonna be there they're gonna be staring with their
00:03:05beady eyes as i open the gift i just get really nervous like i'm a really shy person and i

00:03:19having an issue being potty trained she kind of goes by the litter box she's gone in random boxes
00:03:25around the house you know it's okay i love her still destiny's mom left yesterday which was really
00:03:32depressing how wasabi yay you got it wraps how have you been good how are you
00:03:40what do you want me to do with it i don't know well we could just keep it on the
00:03:44table for now
00:03:45i'm actually really excited for destin that's where we're going if you guys want to know
00:03:51destin is like this beautiful place i've seen pictures i'm just really excited and we're gonna
00:03:55drive there so it's gonna be like a little mini road trip i've never been we're gonna stay in a
00:03:58hotel
00:03:59we're just gonna enjoy the time we don't really have any plans of what we're gonna like do
00:04:03but on christmas day i work i get off of work at 3 p.m so we're gonna leave from
00:04:08there to see where
00:04:09the day takes us go to our hotel and then uh the next day we do check out of the
00:04:14hotel but we're
00:04:14gonna like spend the day in destin i'm super excited

00:05:11know also come with a turban hair towel a silky plush eye mask and a mesh body sponge it feels

00:05:18soft and i'm nervous that it's not gonna fit me we're gonna do this on camera all right oh this

00:06:47and normally it's pretty pretty fast i wore these shoes like flats and they're literally the
00:06:53it literally feels like i am walking on paper like it's that thin of a shoe i don't have the
00:06:59right flats these flats don't have enough support my feet just aren't good in general so this was
00:07:05the wrong shoe to wear today but i kind of wanted it to go with my outfit i didn't want

00:07:09my ugly white tennis shoes while i had this on i don't know it's like a thing yeah it's just

00:07:14chaotic that is the big dining room right there you guys can't see the full thing i had to clean
00:07:20that thing two times total mess like chaotic that's okay i had a really good time it is
00:07:26nerve-wracking to be around like every single one of your bosses at once and the guy and the girl
00:07:30like the whole family who owns this building i literally was so nervous i had to like open
00:07:35gifts in front of them and it's just it's just this whole thing but that's okay i don't leave
00:07:39work until another hour and a half i'm currently clocked out i'm just waiting for destiny because
00:07:42our hours are different but we do work the same days it does get kind of like hectic but that's
00:07:46okay we might want to eat with our friends after work i'm not too sure yet i guess we'll just

00:07:51what happens i actually work the next six days in a row with no days off all the way up

00:07:56christmas i do work christmas that's okay it kind of sucks though i'm not gonna have really that many
00:08:01days off but the days have been going by like way fast i can't believe 2016 is coming up i'm

00:08:33really need them so i gave those away my boss made this for me and another one of my bosses

00:08:38this it's just really neat like this is all like handmade and you can ride on it obviously so
00:08:44super cool so we ended up going out with our friends i didn't vlog at all we literally sat in
00:08:49tgi fridays until passing of it closing it closed at 2 a.m and we got there at like 11

00:09:24everybody i'm just on my way to work we had to kind of rush today because we looked at the

00:09:30it's raining right now there's major flood warnings and we live right by the water there's also supposed
00:09:36to be an outbreak of tornadoes i'm not okay with that so what we did was we brought scarlet and
00:09:41wasabi our two cats to destiny's dad's house because it is a two-story so we just like put them
00:09:46on top
00:09:47destiny's old room and her sister's current room both share a bathroom it's like destiny's room
00:09:52bathroom her sister's room so we put them in the middle with their water litter box we made like a
00:10:00little bed for them they have their food and this and that because there's no windows in that bathroom
00:10:04so while we're at work we're just gonna keep them there we're probably gonna stay the night at her dad's
00:10:08house tonight normally when it's really bad weather that's what we do because her dad lives a lot closer
00:10:12to our work than we live we live pretty freaking far if you ask me it takes us about 45
00:10:18minutes
00:10:19to get to work and to get home from work her dad lives about 15 minutes away for us to
00:10:24get home we
00:10:25have to go over this bridge which is filled with water the bridge isn't filled with water but you
00:10:29know what i mean so we don't want to have to go over that and um her dad always tells

00:10:33it's really bad weather just to stay at his house so that's what we're gonna do tonight i still have
00:10:38my secret santa gifts in the back seat i should have probably put those away but it was pouring
00:10:43rain last night i didn't want to get this wet we're actually stopped at tom thumb sometimes we
00:10:47stop there to get a drink before we go to work because work doesn't really have anything to drink
00:10:51i really want to diet dr pepper donate it's like these really big styrofoam cups for only 99 cents
00:10:57or you can get a smaller one even though it's still gigantic for 79 cents so it's pretty cool it

00:11:02between a diet dr pepper and icy so i turned on the icy i got a diet dr pepper i

00:11:07that great for you but i think it's better than an icy right right right see this is what i

00:11:20destiny you don't fill it up with ice because a lot of the time i'm getting more ice than soda

00:11:50all these carolers just came from the more team of faith baptist church they walked around the
00:11:57whole facility and started caroling and you went and got a bunch of residents thinking they were

00:12:06tonight for dinner we are having gumbo at work it's just this yellow rice bell pepper onion
00:12:12whatever sauce they put chicken and sausage and it's super delicious i had a little bit and i wish
00:12:18i had more and here i just have some strike zero i'm literally all about that diet soda lately i'm

00:25:02her grandma's house destiny has a lot of gifts she's gonna be opening from her father after that
00:25:06i have to go into work i have to work and then we're leaving for destin so i'm super super

00:25:16as much as possible but i mainly just want it to be her and i time because we really need

00:25:27cool this is a baby suit because destiny swears up and down that i'm gonna get in the jacuzzi
00:25:32when we get to the hotel and i'm like probably not because i feel like there's gonna be a lot
00:25:36of people it's 80 degrees here in florida and it's christmas oh yeah by the way i didn't even

00:25:45christmas eve i don't know if it's from where like i grew up or what it is but i always

00:25:53has her big old backpack full of stuff and all her hygiene products last night i forgot off of

00:26:03some stuff for my birthday and i have no idea what it is and i'm super excited to find out

00:26:08super suspicious and she hid it underneath the oven because that's the only place she said she could
00:26:12hide it i was trying to get her i was like destiny just tell me where you hid it because

00:26:17look there and then like after like 10 minutes she finally told me where she hid it so now i

00:26:21to look there i'm the type of person who accepts surprises if you hide it in the closet i'm not
00:26:27going to purposely go look or if you hide it under the sink i'm not going to purposely go look
00:26:30because
00:26:30i don't want to ruin the surprise but i know a lot of people will like go peek and stuff

00:26:34not me that was me when i was like five i remember when i was five i was living with
00:26:38my parents they
00:26:38had the gifts under the tree and i took one like before anyone woke up and i went in the
00:26:44bathroom and
00:26:44like opened it and yeah i'm not like that anymore that was just when i was little i'm super impatient
00:26:52it might be over 80 degrees but it's not in the dark skies and tornado warnings last night we came
00:26:58home and this whole thing was flooded that's where i just heard someone talking to me bye
00:27:05i got off for work her dad has nothing to eat at home so we might stop somewhere to eat

00:27:10doubt anything is open at 11 a.m on christmas eve 11 p.m oh 11 p.m sorry but
00:27:17i have to do laundry
00:27:17tonight too and i have to upload a vlog so i have a lot i have to do before i

00:27:24we just ate at waffle house they're actually open that was kind of a shocker i just had a chicken
00:27:31sandwich it was just like a plain chicken sandwich with onion so now we're going to her dad's house

00:27:43vlog while she's making fudge so i don't know i really hope she vlogs while i'm in the shower that'll

00:28:11morsel all right it says to line the pan that's boiled but i'm using an easy foil pan spray it's
00:28:17boiled lightly so always i'm not a cooking expert i always spray cooking spray over the sink you don't
00:28:25get in the floor because then you'll slip you mind the sugar evaporated milk and butter in a medium bowl
00:28:33sugar mix evaporated milk
00:28:40you always shake that well by the way it says shake well on the lid of it so i mean
00:28:44it's not gonna let
00:28:45you forget so i messed up that's supposed to go in a saucepan i thought it said a mixing bowl
00:28:51for some
00:28:51reason okay so no big deal just gonna pour it in the saucepan
00:28:58two tablespoons of butter scoop some butter
00:29:05it's a date door with this make sure you wash your hand you don't want
00:29:11your nasty germs and your fudge then i want to be like oh nasty germy fudge
00:29:17bring this to a boil on medium heat mix this all together kind of good you just let it boil

00:29:24is what it's looking like right now awesome starting to boil on the edges but it's gonna
00:29:30all boil pretty interesting story really when i was in the ninth grade i joined rotc
00:29:39and i wanted to be a chef in the navy because i just really into it just to stir it
00:29:45constantly for
00:29:46four minutes so i wanted to be a chef in the navy because i like to cook but i don't
00:29:51know if i like
00:29:51to cook enough to be a chef but i wanted to be a chef in the navy because i wanted
00:29:55to join the navy i
00:29:56just didn't know what i could do in the navy or for the navy you know whatever so i was
00:30:00like i like to
00:30:01cook so why not be a cook so for the first two years of high school i was really dead
00:30:05set on
00:30:05joining the navy and being a chef in the navy and i did culinary and everything in high school but
00:30:10then
00:30:10i started in junior year leaning more towards physical therapists for children because i mean
00:30:16who doesn't want to play with kids all day being physical therapy you know playing with kids all day
00:30:20getting paid for it you know it was pretty good then ended my senior year i wanted to be that
00:30:25too and
00:30:25then when it came to deciding for college when i was signing up i really did sign up for the
00:30:29physical therapy program but now that i've started thinking about it i really want to do social work
00:30:34so when and if i ever finally get signed up for college hopefully i'm going to get to do the
00:30:39social
00:30:39work i want to do so you can start out your high school years saying i want to be this
00:30:48when i grow up
00:30:49but then as you can see it drastically changes all right now it says to remove from heat this is
00:30:54what
00:30:54it looks like and now it says to add the marshmallows and chocolate
00:31:04stir it together until it's all melted
00:31:12first time making fudge so if you got any tips it's looking fudgy it's too like hard right now so
00:31:21i think i'm gonna put it on the heat for a second hurry up and put it in the pan

00:52:38just to answer your guys's comments because i used to do that at the end of vlogs all the time

00:52:42you kind of enjoyed that so here we go someone asked how come every time when you're at destiny's
00:52:49dad's house no one's home without being too personal or giving away too much that i shouldn't be it's
00:52:55really because no one stays here anymore so the house is pretty just

00:53:06things happen that's why there has been some like discussion about my weight and my weight gain and
00:53:12whether people should be supporting me or they should be leaving comments about like how bad i'm
00:53:18doing there's a lot of people who think supporting me in a negative way is going to help and i
00:53:22just want
00:53:23to clarify that it's not being rude to me in the comments is not going to help my weight loss
00:53:28it's not
00:53:28going to help me gain weight it's not going to help me lose weight it's just pretty pointless for
00:53:32you guys to be rude to me there's only about two of you you guys think you're being nice or

00:53:36being constructive but really it's just no if you guys want to watch my videos and you guys want to
00:53:42support the person i am then go for it but i want you guys to know that i am more
00:53:46than an obese person
00:53:48and i do more in these videos than talk about my weight of course that is something i do talk

00:55:25rice bell pepper onion whatever sauce they put chicken and sausage and it's super delicious i had
00:55:31a little bit and i wish i had more it was kind of hard kind of easy back and forth
00:55:35it's not the fact
00:55:36that i was craving meat at all because i kind of like wasn't i really wasn't but in the circumstances

00:55:43like when i'd do a get together or i'd eat at work or like when people provided the food it
00:55:49was hard
00:55:49for me to choose something that was nutritious but it didn't have meat it was just difficult for
00:55:56me finally one night when my friend invited me to go out to eat i kind of just messed up

00:56:00vegetarian for 10 days and i'm actually kind of shocked that i was a vegetarian for 10 days i did

00:56:05a lot longer than i thought i would yeah but i'm just not a vegetarian right now it was definitely

01:04:44hello everybody so i just woke up today was a really crazy day for me destiny and i were woken
01:04:50up by her
01:04:50father super super early and by a bunch of tornado warnings like our phones were going ballistic the
01:04:58weather outside was freaking scary normally when there's like a tornado warning like i get really
01:05:03scared and i expect the worst yesterday i was really scared and stuff but i wasn't really expecting
01:05:08anything i hear that like florida doesn't really get that many tornadoes but i was wrong we were all
01:05:14wrong yesterday there were three tornadoes in our city and one of them was across the street from our
01:05:21apartment where we live but we happened to be at destiny's dad's house during that we're not sure
01:05:27if the tornado completely touched down we've seen videos and we've seen pictures and it was crazy we have
01:05:33the cats with us here they've been here the whole time that we've been staying here sometimes we just
01:05:37stay here for reasons because we're super close to work here and when we're at home like we're so
01:05:44far from work and it's just sometimes it's just easier to stay here we always bring our pets with
01:05:49us of course unless we unless we're gonna stay for like one night or two nights like cats are very
01:05:53independent and they have their food and their water and everything they need my heart goes out to
01:05:57anyone who's affected by these tornadoes i honestly can't believe that florida has tornadoes i really
01:06:02didn't know this i get very scared with bad weather i honestly love when it rains outside in the winter
01:06:08i love dark skies like that i just don't like when it rains in the summer here because then there's
