00:00Let's get to a guy playing really well, and I will never say his name right, so we're just going with Milan.
00:07You know Milan, that stud shooter from Iowa State.
00:11And if you think about Iowa State in this season, you've got to look at his play.
00:16Think about this, 29 minutes per game, giving you 18.6 points, 3.1 rebounds, 1 assist, 55% from the floor,
00:24and beep, beep, wait for it, 54% from three, the best mark in Division I basketball,
00:33and it's completely changed the offensive ceiling of Iowa State.
00:39This isn't a guy that's low volume either.
00:42Folks, he's taking about five threes per game, many of them contested or on the move.
00:48Defenses are now forced to extend beyond the arc, which has opened up driving lanes
00:52and post touches across the board for an Iowa State team that is much better when he is on the floor.
00:58Think about this, per 100 possessions, they are 18 points clear.
01:04That is elite impact.
01:06Team-wise, Iowa State is thriving because of they pair shooting with defense.
01:13And that's one thing that's been really good about Coach Ausenberger's team is they've been able to defend.
01:19But because of Milan's ability to shoot the ball from three,
01:23now you're taking a team that's top 20 nationally in defensive efficiency,
01:28forcing you long possessions and bad shots.
01:31Then you turn around and they have offensive discipline,
01:35a guy shooting the ball 50% from three,
01:37and other guys around them like Lipsey and Jefferson,
01:40and now it becomes really tough.
01:42This is really a fun story to watch as he continues to play well.
01:48Thank you very much.
01:55Let me know.
