00:00Hey Naturally Curly World, this is Hannah and I am back with my second Shea
00:05Moisture video. I'm going to show you guys how I flat twist my natural hair. I
00:10think it's a great protective style for when you're on the go or when you're busy
00:15or anything like that during school etc. After you've shampooed your hair go
00:20ahead and take a ratso comb and part your hair all the way to the back and
00:24then take some Curl & Style Milk and spread it apart evenly through your
00:29hair and then you can also use the Curling Gel Souffle as a way to put down
00:34the edges to give a cleaner look and then afterwards start flat twisting.
00:40Mainly what you do is you grab two strands and start putting one over the other and
00:46then once you grab the second one you add more hair and you keep going all the way
00:50till you get to the back of your neck and you can just two strand twist.
00:56When I usually flat twist, I do around eight or nine flat twists. It just depends on how
01:04big or small you want the curls to be defined.
01:06Taking down the flat twists is very simple. It's just like taking down two strand twists.
01:13You can leave them in for about, I'd say, a week. I like mainly doing flat twists because it's a lot less time consuming.
01:22Once you actually get the hang of it, you can do them on the go. You can do them when you're busy.
01:27They're just really something quick and easy you can do.
01:32The Shea Moisture products are very convenient and they help with a lot of the curl defining and moisturizing part of natural hair.
01:41You guys should check out more on the Naturally Curly & Shea Moisture website.
01:45My question for you guys is which one of you do protective styles? Do you like to wear your hair out all the time?
01:52Do you like to wrap it up? Just leave an answer in the comments below and tell me about it.
01:57I'll see you guys again another time. Bye!
