00:32go natural, to cut off all the relaxed ends.
00:35And that takes a lot of courage.
00:36You have to really have the self-confidence and know that you're beautiful.
00:40For us, it was a whole lifestyle change.
00:43I had to relearn how to do my hair completely.
00:45Having to find all these new products that your hair loves is a journey in itself.
00:51I just really like products that are very moisturizing.
00:54So I try to stick to shampoos that are actually sulfate-free.
00:57Sulfates like strip my hair of its natural moisture.

01:02If a shampoo makes my hair look somewhat decent afterwards, it's all right with me.

01:43I think that, you know, natural hair is so versatile, and it is what you make it.
01:49You know, if you set out to do something professional, then you can always find a natural hairstyle that

01:56And if you notice, we have two different textures.
01:59So Amber shows how she styles and cares for her natural hair, which there are some slight
02:03variances between how she cares for her hair and how I care for my hair.
02:07So you know, I'm going to be a nurse.
02:09So with my hair, I want something that's really pulled together that's not in my face.
02:14So what I like to do is a style called the Roll and Tuck.
02:17My ends are not exposed, so it's also a good protective style, too.

02:23What I do is I start by sectioning off my bangs.
02:26I start with a section about this big.
02:28I'm going to literally roll this under and tuck.
02:35Roll and tuck.
02:36So it's extremely simple, and you just do it to your whole head.
02:41And you kind of adjust it as you go to make all the sides blend in together since you're
02:46doing it section by section.
02:47So I just did my last section, and this is the finished product of the roll.
02:52This is the final step, and I simply just bobby pin this back behind my ear like that.
02:58And bam.

03:00It's for the everyday professional woman, and I love it.
03:04It's my go-to style.
03:05I like a little pizzazz.
03:07So this is the style that I wore today, and it's a flat twist on the side.
03:12And I'm just going to modify this.
03:14So I'm going to go ahead and re-moisturize my hair.
03:17And you already know how I feel about my leave-in.
03:19I'm just going to apply a little bit to this section.
03:26Same thing with this big back section.
03:28I might need to take this one apart.
03:30So again, applying my leave-in and making sure my hair is moisturized.
03:35And like your style, I love the pin and tuck because it's also a protective style.
03:42So this is my final look using my leave-in by Evercurl, re-moistened, and pinned.
03:49So I call this bad boy right here the double French roll because the two rolls meet in the back.
03:56I can't leave the house without my finishing touch.
