00:12Today I am going to cleanse my scalp because as you can see I have a protective style and
00:18I need help.
00:19I'm going to use these products that I normally use anyway to cleanse my scalp and these braids.
00:25And I'm going to review Brad Paisley's comedy special.
00:32Welcome, Brad Paisley!
00:39Thank you very much.
00:42I am thrilled to be in my hometown.
00:46World.
00:48That's actually brilliant.
00:51By the way, you're not supposed to have your phone on.
00:58You're doing stand-up now.
01:01Yeah.
01:02Okay, so the first thing that I'm going to do is take my braids down from this whack bun
01:11that I made.
01:12My whack attempt out of bun.
01:14And give you a little background on how I came upon this comedy special.
01:20So I usually live on Twitter because I like throwing shade up in people's news feeds and
01:27everything.
01:28Sometimes I get DMs from people and they're very polite and kind and I got a DM from someone
01:34who was like, hey man, you should totally watch this comedy special.
01:37It's Brad Paisley.
01:38And I was like, who dat?
01:41I went to Netflix.
01:43It's a Netflix original series comedy special.
01:46And I saw cowboy hats.
01:49And I was like, but I'm used to Martin Lawrence.
01:52So what am I supposed to do with this?
01:55Let's just get it started.
01:56Let's get it over with.
01:57So I started watching it and you know, I was skeptical.
02:02I really need to get down deep into the scalp here because it's been itching for a while.
02:07So what I do is I use the Design Essentials Peppermint and Aloe.
02:12If you have not used this yet, you need to get your life.
02:15I had a true honest to goodness bias going into watching this comedy special.
02:21I really thought that I would not like it because I'm not a country music fan.
02:27I mean, I don't hate on country.
02:28It's just not something that I listen to on a regular basis or at all really.
02:34I'm trying to lie to y'all.
02:35I'm sorry.
02:36I started watching it and what made me stick with it is the appearance of David Hasselhoff.
02:43You may remember David Hasselhoff from a little show called Baywatch.
02:48Outside of that, I think that he's hilarious because he likes to make fun of himself.
02:53Sometimes he doesn't know that he's making fun of himself and that's okay.
02:57We're all in that boat.
02:58So when I saw him, I was like, I think I can hold on.
03:03I think I might be in for something special here.
03:05So I stuck with it and I'm really glad I did because I was introduced to the beautiful voice of Brad Paisley.
03:16I was like, this young man can sing.
03:19I'm so happy that I'm not disappointed in your vocal ability.
03:24I see why all the women in the audience were like, oh my God.
03:29I was like, well played, sir.
03:31Woo.
03:32This feels so good.
03:33You don't understand.
03:35So here's a little tip.
03:37Only the scout.
03:38Don't dig underneath the braid, just around the braid.
03:42Anyway, the first couple of comedians that came out, they were pretty good.
03:47For me, the first guy was really, really dry and I couldn't relate to him.
03:51And that's okay because a lot of people have that dry humor and it works for them.
03:55And then the second guy, oh man, what can I say about this guy?
04:00He was about the most misogynistic person ever.
04:05And I was sitting there like, you're sitting here dogging your wife.
04:09Like legit straight up dogging her and you're invalidating her feelings and turning it into a joke.
04:16And I'm just not here for you.
04:18I'm sorry.
04:19I don't like that.
04:20You're mean.
04:21You're not funny.
04:22The next act was, I think it's the young lady.
04:25She keeps playing herself.
04:27And I think that she's fantastic.
04:30She also makes it well known that she's single.
04:33She's proud of being single, but she also hates it.
04:37I think a lot of us can relate to that.
04:39I really liked her.
04:40And I liked her act.
04:41She talks like this.
04:43She talks real slow, you know.
04:45And I'm like, oh my gosh, that's so cute.
04:47I love it.
04:48Next up is this young man named Mike Whitfield.
04:52If you have not seen Mike Whitfield's standup comedy yet, you need to watch this comedy special.
04:58He was dropping a little bit of a truth bomb about men and how they treat women.
05:05And how we're right all the time.
05:09If you sit down and you watch the special, you can tell that when Mike Whitfield like walks onto the stage,
05:17the energy in the room changes.
05:19He starts engaging everyone.
05:22He starts reaching out and talking to people like, you feel me?
05:26You feel me?
05:27I'm like, yes, I do.
05:29And it was really great to see everyone respond to him because he really is a funny guy.
05:35If you want to talk through some country music songs that are really goofy by Brad Paisley while doing your hair,
05:45like doing your wash and go, it's worth it.
05:48It's definitely worth your time just to make it all the way through to Mike.
05:54Dude's funny.
05:55All right.
05:56So I'm going to finish up my wash and go.
05:58The next step in my process is to use a moisturizing shampoo, which is this naturally smitten amazingness.
06:06Oh my goodness.
06:07And then after that, I'm going to put this moisturizing milk from my L into this bottle with some water,
06:14shake it up real good and use it as a leave-in conditioner.
06:16So I'll be right back.

06:22I have rinsed out the shampoo from my scalp.
06:27So the next step in my routine, I combine the Myel Organics Moisturizing Avocado Hair Milk with some water,
06:35put it in here, shake it up real good.
06:37And then what I'm going to use it as is just a real quick leave-in.
06:41So with any wash and go, I like to apply treatments.

07:15to be entertained by, I do recommend watching this special.
07:19You have five comedians to choose from.
07:22If you don't like people being super goofy and off the wall when it comes to like singer-songwriter stuff,
07:29this probably is not the special for you.
07:32I'm going to give the entire special, I'm going to give it a three out of five stars only.
07:40Only because I really, really like three of the five comedians.
07:45Maybe I'll give it a half, three and a half stars because I'm surprised by Brad Paisley.
07:50The guy's got a nice voice and he's funny.
07:53So three and a half out of five.
07:55So that's it.
