00:00What is the situation that you're hearing back home with Travion Henderson?
00:04Is he in fact hurt? Why aren't they utilizing him?
00:07I need to know. 32 carries at the end of the regular season in back-to-back games.
00:12I understand the pass blocking. Is that it?
00:15What is the reason why the guy only had three carries against Denver?
00:20Yeah, for me, I don't think it's an injury concern.
00:24I think it's a little bit of riding the hot hand, honestly.
00:27And Ramondre Stevenson, while back in the first handful of games of the regular season, had the fumble issues.
00:33Since then, he's been clean.
00:35And really going back to the last, let's say, five games of the regular season to where we are now through the playoffs,
00:42Stevenson's been exceptional.
00:43He's not been Christian McCaffrey, but he's been really exactly what you're looking for.
00:48A methodical chain mover.
00:50He can catch the ball, move it that way out of the backfield,
00:52and obviously is capable of finding some holes and bullying his way through some guys and moving the ball as a rusher as well.
01:00But I don't think you can just, if you're Mike Vrabel, leave Travion Henderson to sit there and watch.
01:07I think you need both of these guys because what Stevenson does, and I said it,
01:11you know, he's, it's, yeah, he can blow up for a 55-yard catch or whatever, like we saw earlier in the postseason.
01:17Generally speaking, it's a lot of short yardage gains.
01:21And again, methodically, to use that word once more, moving the chains.
01:24Your home run hitter is Travion Henderson.
01:27That's the guy that can break one off and run for a 70-yard, you know, catch and run or just to carry whatever it is.
01:32So he's got to get his opportunities.
01:34I don't think investing over in his props is a bad idea, but if you want to be concerned about usage like you're talking about, that's justified.
01:41But I think you need to, if you're Vrabel, both these guys, even though it's going to be mostly Stevenson barring an injury, heaven forbid,
01:49both these guys need to be part of the game plan.
01:51You know, it's all Kenneth Walker on the other side.
01:53You know, that's, that's, that's your option with no Charbonnet.
01:56You got two for New England to balance out just a little bit.
01:59My only thing is, and look, I think it's, it's good insight, Adam.
02:05It's just, I've been sitting next to Joe already for too long.
02:08The reason Travion Henderson isn't getting the ball is he's not playing well at all.
02:12And Stevenson looks incredible.
02:14It, that is largely what it boils down to.
02:17It's the Super Bowl.
02:18Henderson has a long career ahead of him.
02:21He'll likely be the starting running back next year.
02:24Trevor, Trevion Henderson is yet to average more than three yards a carry in any of these games.
02:30He's not been the more explosive back.
02:32What?
02:33For six weeks.
02:35Stevenson average two points.
02:35You just asked Adam if anybody at home knows if Henderson is hurt.
02:38Well, I want to know.
02:39You've lost your mind.
02:40No, because he had, how many carries did he have in the second game against Houston?
02:44He had nine or ten.
02:45Twelve.
02:45Okay, so.
02:46And at 25 yards, they went, all right, that's enough of that.
02:49Come on.
02:50That was in garbage time, though, too.
02:52I mean, he carried the ball in the fourth quarter when the game was already over.
02:57You're making it sound like, I don't know, you're making it sound like the guy hasn't
03:00had 911 yards.
03:02We're making Ramondre Stevenson out like he's Barry Sanders.
03:05I mean, come on.
03:07He's not Barry Sanders.
03:09I think going back to what you're both talking about is, you know, one guy has played better
03:14than the other.
03:15And it's, I'm not, as a talent, disputing Travion Henderson is, you know, he's got a bright future
03:20ahead of him.
03:21That's, that's the guy, but maybe this weekend, he's not the guy again, he's going to get
03:26some opportunity, but you know, as, as Kev talked about, like the yards per carry and
03:30lack of yak and all of that, like it's, it's not been a good showing so far, but again, that's
03:35for the offense across the board, you know, outside of a guy like Stevenson who has played
03:39very well.
03:40Well, listen, I think we're going to talk to Adam again after this segment.
03:43There's a couple of other things I want to get to, but if during the break, you can text,
03:47you know, Boston Louie or, or, you know, Uncle Steve, maybe he knows.
03:53Hey, what is Henderson on the tank?
03:55Anybody know what's going on here?
03:57Ask him to ask Teddy Bruschi.
03:59Ask Bruschi.
04:00Anybody know what's going on here?
04:02That'd be great.
04:03Find him out.
04:05What's happening?
