00:05seem to determine how good you are i don't know when this became prominent my guess is uh mike
00:11following baseball and following football and basketball with the stat the last 10 years i'll
00:17say is point differential you know there's some people who feel like that's important there's some
00:23people who feel like like there's not and there's luck involved obviously one game anything can
00:27happen but it does seem like the seahawks number one point differential in the nfl this season plus
00:3312.4 has led them to being a really good team and i and i really at this point mike i'm sort of all
00:41in on that stat baseball it means postseason football it means you're really good too
00:46is there anything else that i'm missing from this to debunk that stat i don't think you have to debunk
00:52anything what you did see from them too there was they had three separate games this year in which
00:57they put up 30 points in the first half so they were a strong first half team they got out to
01:02big leads they had a bunch of blowouts this year patriots didn't have quite as many of those but
01:08they certainly put away teams as well both of these teams were excellent first half teams patriots 18
01:13and 2 against their first half numbers seattle not far behind that so they are two of the highest
01:19scoring teams in the sport in the first half both i think we have a combination of just over 33 points
01:24a game these two teams average so it will be fascinating for me in watching this game to see
01:30if both offenses do get off to a pretty good start in the first half these are not the lesser opponents
01:36that they're able to drive all of those points first half points home throughout the season so
01:41that's going to be a fascinating thing for me to watch even through all of those patriots super bowl
01:46victories in the belichick brady area they had extremely low scoring first quarters lots of
01:52scoreless first quarters as a team and in the game so teams like to check each other during games like
01:58this does that happen or do we come out throwing clearly new england is going to force seattle to throw
02:04they do not want kenneth walker grinding the clock on them
