00:00It's so fun to be able to be in the presence of Sandra Douglas Morgan two days in a row.
00:04Today we're here at the Sports Power Brunch.
00:06And I really just want to ask you, how does it feel for you and all the work that you've done
00:09to just be recognized in this particular platform?
00:13I don't seek recognition, to be honest with you.
00:16But the fact that LaTanya found me worthy of this,
00:19it's one thing when you're actually being honored by people who know what you went through to get here.
00:24And so that's what honestly makes this award a little more special.
00:27It's about celebrating women, empowering women, and to know that this group,
00:30and that's been their main focus in the five years that they've done this, chosen me.
00:33You know, it's definitely something that's special.
00:36And it's happening on your turf.
00:38And last question for you, there's so much electricity.
00:41We kind of talked about this yesterday.
00:42Around the city of Las Vegas, we've got Nikki Vargas here, you're here, some Aces players here.
00:47Just the next iteration of what the electricity and the momentum, how you want it to look in the coming years.
00:53I think it's all about positivity and uplifting people.
00:55And that's what you're seeing here.
00:56This is kind of a snapshot of what we're going to see for the entire week.
00:59People happy to be in Las Vegas.
01:01People seeing that Las Vegas has given people opportunities.
01:03You know, I grew up here, and I know that Las Vegas has always given working class people an opportunity to provide for their families.
01:08And I think that what we're seeing in the Super Bowl, even though there's a lot of blitz and glamour,
01:11the post effect of it is going to be great.
01:13We're giving people and nonprofits an opportunity to have legacy grants.
01:16We're giving women and people of color who have small businesses opportunities to have contracting opportunities.
01:21So it's really about the impact post-Super Bowl, and that's what I'm the most proud of.
01:25Love it. Congratulations again. Thank you.
