00:06I had such a blast from hosting in the daytime at the Soco Market Stage for Shop Essence Live,
00:11all the way to streaming the nighttime concerts and moderating the chat. Y'all are funny.
00:16I even got a chance to stop by the Smartwater Hydration booth and sign up for a hip-hop exercise class.
00:23I was a little nervous at first, but they made it so easy and I ended up having the time of my life.

00:34All in all, this was my 10th Essence Festival, and with us celebrating our 30th anniversary,
00:38I'm so proud to be a part of the team that brought it to life.

00:46Staying hydrated with Smartwater helped me to not overthink my self-care during my first Essence Festival weekend.
00:53It provided me with moments of clarity between editing articles, doing on-the-ground interviews,
00:58and moderating inspiring panels.

01:04We watched Janet Jackson, Usher, SWV, and more.
01:09Wrapping up the weekend, I enjoyed Smartwater's styling and color consultation.
01:14Overall, it was a successful first festival, and I can't wait for next year.

01:22I'm so happy I finally got to see Usher perform at the Superdome.
01:26This year, I was a moderator for the first time, thanks to Suma Azubral.
01:30She's the creator of the Amigo family, and it made its debut at Essence Film Festival.
01:36Honestly, Essence Fest takes so much effort to pull off.
01:39I can't believe I produced 15 pieces of content.
01:42There's so much to think about.
01:43But with Smartwater, you don't need to overthink your hydration.
