00:00You know, and I've been laughing in the beginning when you talked about we need like a backup day, you know, and some days you don't want to get out of bed, you know, you're just kind of tired, you know, I think particularly, you know, through the pandemic, that's really been true, you know, for people, what has it been like for you, you know, getting through these past couple years and how has your artistry been affected at all, you know, during the pandemic?
00:22You know, when the pandemic first started, I was, you know, relieved to be home, to sit home. I ain't gonna lie. I was like, this is a much needed vacation. And, you know, I'm forced to take it because, you know, I work a lot. Sometimes I don't vacation enough. This year is going to be different. God's will. But yeah, the first six months, seven months, I was like, man, this is cool. This is nice.
00:52And, you know, cooking my meals, laying in my bed. And then as it kept going, you realize how serious it really is. And, you know, everybody's health is that danger. And you start to worry about your people who supported you, your team, my band members, my employees, and, you know, making sure that they were okay, that families could eat.
01:18Financially, you know, financially, you know, people would probably suffer. I don't spend a lot of money. So I'm good. I don't waste money. But I want to make sure that everybody else was good. You know, and it, I didn't have the access to going to the studios or
01:34access to go perform when, when I didn't feel my happiest. That would bring the joy too. And you just had to find ways of enjoying life and getting to know yourself outside of your daily routine that you get locked into.
01:53But I did spend a lot of time with my kids, which was, was fun. We rode bikes a lot. But yeah, yeah, just, I think financially for, for my team and making sure that they were fine. It affected me and just having access to those loving fans out there.
02:11But I did take to the internet. I did my first show on IG live and set about 80, maybe 80,000 people
02:19viewed, viewed it, which was pretty interesting and pretty, uh, I was pretty excited about that.
02:28Yeah. And I see you have a challenge going on now. You've been sharing videos. Can you talk about that a little bit?
02:34Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. Yeah. I'm ready challenge. Yeah. You know what? I'm going to do it. I'm going to do it myself.
