00:00My name is Moe and I co-founded the business Moe's Crib with my sister Michelle.
00:06At Moe's Crib, sustainability is the heart of the brand.
00:10Founded by sisters Moe and Michelle Makone,
00:13the home goods decor line focuses on eco-conscious artisan-made designs from African countries.
00:18Our main focus is on sustainability, so manufacturing homeware goods that are made from sustainable material.
00:24We started this business in 2016 in Pretoria in our garage and now we're here.
00:28The sisters use recycled PVC pies from landfills and construction sites to create beautiful items.
00:34And they pay it forward for the communities that they serve.

00:39The company has 37 full-time staff members who are all women.
00:43They have hired 100 artisans helling from Malawi and Zimbabwe.
00:47They handcraft each item and prepare it for shipping.
00:50And they support their staff with free lunch, free lodging, and English lessons.
