00:38and it's because i believe that it's important to act like a business if you want to get paid like one
00:43no shortcuts and because you made it this far in the contest that's how i know that you're already
00:47doing so many of the right things but if you take these three tips i know that you can go even
00:52further so you ready so the first one is you've got to act like a business if you want to get paid
00:58like one now i know that you guys have seen people on social media on the internet doing things that
01:03they think is acting like a business right taking pictures using hashtags all that stuff that's not
01:09being a business being a business is making sure that you're legal your financial and your marketing
01:14is all lined up you're gonna need to have an llc and you're going to want to have a bookkeeper
01:19and an accountant and of course your taxes those have to be paid non-negotiable so i hope you guys
01:26wrote that down because i'm going on to tip number two so ladies i know that acting like a business can
01:32take up all of your time when you're dealing with the finances and the legal and the products and the
01:36inventory that can feel like so much but i want to let you know that no business can succeed without
01:43customers so i want you to remember that if they can't find you they can't pay you marketing
01:49matters you've got to put an emphasis on getting out there and letting your customer know that you
01:53exist thank you so much now i know that we covered a lot there but tip number three it's essential
01:59grab your pen and write this down this tip is going to hurt a lot of feelings right because whenever
02:04people hear this one they're always like nicole i feel attacked but it's so true whenever you're on
02:10social media you see tons of people talking about how they're sold out and they manage to clean out
02:16their inventory but the truth is you're not really winning at the end of the sale you're
02:21actually winning at the end of the service i always recommend for especially for your business pamela
02:27coming up with a customized corporate gift something that you know that you're going to
02:30give to your customer that they're going to love coupling that with a beautiful handwritten note
02:34and sending it in the off season not necessarily connected with the sale it lets your customer know
02:39that you're always on their mind and it also makes sure that they don't think that you just
02:43a comma or a bank account or money to them that you really want a deep relationship thank you
