03:49I would say be yourself, honestly, because I feel like as long as you're yourself, someone's going to see themselves in you.
03:55Don't try to act like someone that's already out there.
03:58They're them for a reason and you're you for a reason.

05:44I'm Erica and I'm from the Ulta Beauty bath team.
05:45So what I develop is things like candles, body lotions, body wash, and body mist.
05:48And I'm Katie and I work on the Ulta Beauty collection cosmetics team.
05:51And I work on developing lip products, eye shadows, face products.
05:55I'm feeling super excited about the lab.
05:57I have a background in science and it's my passion.
05:59So I'm just feeling ready to go to the lab because I know I'll be in my element once I'm
06:03in there.
06:04And then go ahead and mix that in.
06:08And one thing to note is that fragrance is very strong.

06:12And so you want to add one drop at a time because it can get very overwhelming.
06:16Mixing the colors was so crazy.
06:18I didn't know that red and blue, what color that was going to be, or pink and stuff like
06:23that.
06:24It was really cool to see the process of mixing elements together for the very first time.
06:29This one is like really like out there and like really shimmery and like you can kind
06:34of see it like popping.
06:35So as I'm mixing the ingredients, I'm thinking to myself, maybe I could possibly go into product
06:39development one day.
06:40You know, there's so many possibilities in the beauty industry and I feel like this is
06:44for me.
