00:15The purple dress, the first look that we saw, was the Lauren by Ralph Lauren with the Holst & Lee
00:21beautiful statement piece necklace.
00:23So with that beautiful statement piece she had on from Holst & Lee,
00:27we wanted to make sure that her beauty look was really natural, and we kept the look really nude.
00:33We gave her a tint of a smoky eye.
00:35It was just a little bit at the end where we added a little smoke with just gorgeous lashes,
00:40nothing too crazy, but just really something that showed her natural beauty.
00:45What we also did was gave her a little color on her lips to complement the lowlights that she had in her hair.
00:51Now, the updo was in a gorgeous braise, and it was really like her crown, and she wore it today.
00:59She is the queen of hip-hop soul, and today we wanted to let you know just who she was.
01:04We had her hair braided into a gorgeous crown, and with the lowlights and a little bit of the highlight that she had in,
01:10it added a great contrast to her look.
01:12The Donna Karan dress with that beautiful Donna Karan necklace, that really, really, really was the statement piece on her.
01:20The contrasting colors with the red and the brown, we didn't want to do anything too over the top with her face,
01:25so we kept that really nude.
01:26Her lip was nude, and what we did for that, we just had a little concealer on it with a touch of gloss,
01:32so that's a great secret for the readers at home to do.
01:35If you want to get the perfect nude, just add a little concealer or a little foundation to your lips with a little bit of gloss,
01:43and that will give you that nude that you see a lot of celebrities wear today.
01:47If you're wearing something as bold as red on your dress or if it's a shirt and as bold as the necklace that she has on,
01:53you don't want to overdo it, so you want to really keep it nude.
01:56That Lanvin jumper with the gold belt was really fun for Mary,
02:00and what we did was gave her a really great smoky eye.
02:03Of course, her hair color is always something that we look at, and it's always gold,
02:08but this time we wanted the lowlights to really show, so she has the lowlights in, she has a smoky eye,
02:13she's giving you Mary in all her glory.
