00:06I've been modeling now for like four years.
00:08I actually didn't want to be a model.
00:11I like only realized I wanted to be a model when I got scouted.
00:15I was actually in Victoria Park in London,
00:18roller skating with like my family and friends
00:20and like this guy came up to me, he's now my mother agent
00:24and was like, you have nice legs, like you should model.
00:28My dad came over and like after that, I mean,
00:32I got signed to Elite London and it just blew up from there.
00:36When I first booked like my first paid job, it was with Rihanna
00:40and I was like, whoa, okay, it's time, like I'm ready.
00:44Like this is, this is what I want to do.
00:46It's been amazing to watch the growth in the industry.
00:49But when I first started, it wasn't so easy for me
00:54as like makeup artists would come up to me and say,
00:57do you have your own makeup?
00:59Because I don't carry your shade in my kit.
01:02It would make me feel so uncomfortable.
01:04And also like hair stylists would be like, okay.
01:08Oh my God. She came in ready. Like her hair's done.
01:11It's almost like they were afraid to like touch my hair or I don't know.
01:15It was, it was really weird.
01:16So they would just be like, okay, she's done.
01:18But I've seen definitely seen growth and like people are less like makeup artists,
01:24hairstylists are less afraid to like touch my hair or touch my skin or like,
01:29you know, they actually carry a full range of shades for every different skin tone,
01:34which is like amazing.
01:36So there is definitely growth in the industry for sure.
01:40So I can't tell the future, but what I can say is that I want to continue to keep working hard
01:45and, you know, continue to support my family and friends.
01:49And I do want to eventually start working with charities that I believe in.
