Three ex-CBS employees say they were repeatedly sexually harassed by the ousted anchor.
Transcript
00:00Charlie Rose and CBS are being sued by three women who allege they were harassed by the
00:04ousted host. This news comes on the heels of an explosive Washington Post report that
00:08claims more than two dozen women have accused the former CBS This Morning anchor of sexual
00:13misconduct. Katherine Brooks-Harris, Sydney McNeil and Chelsea Way are suing Rose and the
00:18network, alleging blatant and repeated sexual harassment and unlawful retaliation.
00:23According to the complaint filed Friday in New York State Court, Harris worked as a broadcast
00:28associate for CBS This Morning before taking a job as an associate producer for Rose from
00:332016 to 2017. McNeil worked as Rose's executive assistant in 2017. Way worked as a news associate,
00:40executive assistant and anchor assistant from 2015 to 2018. And they all claim they were
00:44subjected to physical and verbal sexual harassment by Rose, including that he would
00:49caress them and kiss them on the cheek, and boast about his sexual conquests. They also claim
00:54Rose verbally abused them. Both McNeil and Way say he referred to them as a
00:58fucking idiot. Harrison McNeil say they were terminated after a November Washington Post
01:02article about sexual harassment allegations against Rose. Rose was fired by CBS shortly
01:08thereafter. Way claims in November she filed a complaint with CBS Human Resources and the
01:12company retaliated by demoting her, which caused her to fall ill and prompted a medical leave of
01:17absence. The suit claims Rose has been engaging in workplace sexual harassment since at least 1986,
01:23when seven female employees sued the network, and CBS continually looked the other way. The
01:29plaintiffs are suing for discrimination and harassment and retaliation. They're seeking
01:33lost wages plus punitive and compensatory damages. Representatives for CBS and Rose have not
01:38replied to a request for comment on the complaint. For the full complaint and more on this story,
