00:00I started out on a kid's show called Drake and Josh so I was used to being
00:06recognized by babies. I'd be in grocery stores and little kids would peek out
00:09around the corner, are you on Drake and Josh? So I was used to that. Community has
00:12taken it to a whole nother level where it's all ages, you know, all races.
00:17Everyone seems to really like the quirkiness of this little band of
00:21misfits at this community college so it's been great. I just started doing two
00:24years ago a voice on a cartoon called Pound Puppy so now I have other kids and
00:28their parents with that so it's like I'm getting it from from all areas and it's
00:32been wonderful. I am blessed to have a job and in this economy you know there's I'm
00:37not one of these people that believes that there's something special or
00:39inherently wonderful about me. I'm not any more talented or more beautiful or
00:43surely not skinnier than anybody else working. The idea that I get the chance
00:47to live this life there's no reason not to wake up and be overjoyed every day so
00:51I'm just grateful and thank the Lord that I'm able to live my dreams. I'm a you
00:55know poor kid from East Cleveland this is like hitting the lottery. If I was not
00:58an actress I would have been a kindergarten teacher. Oh I love the
01:02babies I love the babies and I don't have kids of my own yet so and I think
01:07five and six year olds is like that magical age before the world has kicked
01:11their teeth in they still believe that everything is possible and I think that
01:14if you can be the one to keep continuing to tell them keep dreaming keep
01:17living keep growing you know you can really you know create some wonderful
01:21people. The funniest person off camera on community is Donald Glover. Now I must say
01:26this Donald is naughty he's very very blue. He does a wonderful President Obama
01:33impressive impression spot-on but he only uses it to hit on me as President
01:37Obama so you know I'm very I'm like Prudy McPrude so I'm like now Michelle
01:41would not like if you were saying Mr. Obama Donald stop it it becomes this
01:45whole big thing so he's very funny but very naughty so I'll say that it's not
01:50PG-13 at all but he's hilarious. I'd love to work with you know do a film
01:55about sisters with some of the girls in our tribe you know like Lonnie Love and
01:59Octavia and Sherry and you know all of us as a group of big loud crazy
02:05sisters I think that would be a fun thing to do and then it would be a way
02:08for people to see that though we kind of all are kind of alike in certain ways
02:12there's different quirks and interesting things that each of us do we may play a
02:16sassy character or this type of character but we each approach it differently and
02:20I think if you saw us all together in a project you'd be able to go oh that's
02:23this oh this one does it this way so that would be a dream come true as well. When
02:27I need some perspective on what it's like every day in the industry they are the
02:33girls that I go to to talk me down off the ledge so that's what a lot of our
02:37time together is girl was it was great on set today but you know or you know what
02:41do you do when this happens you know and so it's it's great that we're all at
02:44different places in our career so when we get together we just support each
