00:00Well, The Candy Factory is a lot different than those other music shows. Love them, but like our
00:10show, first off, first thing is we have all original songs. Every song on the show I wrote
00:15specifically for the artists that, you know, is competing that week. So it's no cover tunes. You
00:21get the behind the scenes of, you know, the choreography, how hard it was for them to learn
00:26everything and try to sing and perform at the same time because some people can't
00:30do that to good. I'm at a point in my life I want so many things and the only way
00:35I'm gonna get it is if I work it and make it happen. And so, like say for instance,
00:40everybody knows every Wednesday night is candy-coated nights. Don't book nothing,
00:44don't put nothing there. I'm dedicated to it. For a long time I was doing it for
00:48free and because, you know, it's just something that I felt like it was a
00:54following. It built something. That's what inspired me to do Bedroom Candy and I
00:59know so many other things that come from candy-coated nights. So I was just like,
01:03you know what, I dedicate myself to it because I see the vision of where it's
01:06going. I was very turned off by some of the things that people had to say about
01:11me singing a gospel song because, well, let me just say, I expected some negative
01:18criticism. I definitely expected it. But I feel like people need to be realistic
01:25about things. I'm not trying to be a preacher and I'm not trying to be perfect
01:30and I'm not trying to tell you that like, oh my life is totally changed around
01:35yesterday and tomorrow I'm gonna be a saint. The song was more of a testimony for
01:39me. I have a larger platform to be able to speak about my belief in God and the
01:47fact that I pray. So don't you want, you know, for people to know that regardless
01:54of if you are lost or if you're whatever, wherever you are in your life, that you
01:59should be able to pray. Don't you want more people to hear about that? So you'll
02:03be okay with me talking about, you know, Bedroom Candy and candy-coated nights and
02:08you like, haha, having fun with me then. But as soon as I say, I pray you, you have an
02:13issue with that. That does not make sense to me.
