00:00All right, so we're going to talk about the major bombshell that was dropped this season
00:08of Love & Hip Hop, the jaw-dropping around the country.
00:13So it was revealed on this season of Love & Hip Hop that you didn't actually send in
00:17your marriage papers and you guys weren't married.
00:20Take us through what that decision process was like.
00:22Did you decide before the TV special, after?
00:24They're like, I'm going to take you through it from the perspective of the television show
00:30first.
00:31So I never had to tell anyone this because no one would have ever known or questioned
00:34it.
00:35The reason why I wanted the world to know, and I hate that it got leaked on a blog prior
00:40to because there was no explanation as to what.
00:43It was like seven weeks before the episode aired, it was leaked.
00:46I was so furious about that because, you know, I love my relationship.
00:52And when I vowed to that man that I will be with him forever and he is my only, my one
00:57and one, he vowed to me, we meant that.
00:59I still mean it.
01:00The minute I vowed to him before God, before 250 people, and before all the millions that
01:05watched, I meant it.
01:06I meant it with all of my heart.
01:09That night when we got the call the night before the wedding, like, okay, listen, we
01:13know tomorrow's your wedding.
01:14Hold on from signing that paper for a few weeks until this plea is signed.
01:17It was like, okay.
01:18It wasn't a big deal.
01:19And it really wouldn't be a big deal to any one of you if you didn't know.
01:22It wouldn't be a big deal.
01:24But because of the hoopla, the propaganda, and the fact that they dropped it like, they
01:29put all the special effects with the music.
01:31It was like, oh my gosh.
01:33No, it wasn't a fake money, a wedding.
01:35No, it wasn't Yandy wanted to steal money from VH1.
01:37None of that stuff.
01:39I mean, I don't know if you heard that, but you know, I'm reading like, what?
01:41They thought I wanted to steal money.
01:43Like, I need it.
01:43What?
01:44They thought I wanted to steal money.
01:44No, this is my one and only wedding.
01:46If I could marry that man 20 more times for the next 20 years, I will.
01:50But for me at that very moment, it was about protecting my children.
01:53It was about protecting the empire that he and I built together.
01:56And it was definitely about protecting what I've worked so hard for.
02:00Because like you said, you knew me from grinding.
02:02I've grinded for so long.
02:04And I didn't want my mind to be blinded by love.
02:07Because we can be, and I have been, when it would affect my future and my children's future.
02:12And he completely understood.
02:14Like, we cried and we were like, oh my gosh.
02:15And he's like, you need to get it together.
02:16It's not that big of a deal.
02:17The plea will be signed and it'll be, you know, we'll figure it out.
02:22But it was something that was hard.
02:24It was so hard.
02:25And I hated that the world thought I was making a mockery or that it was something that was fake.
02:30It was so hard.
02:34It was so hard.
