00:00You have an incredible following, but there's pressures that come along with that.
00:03I know there's challenges that come along with that.
00:05You're not representing your brand.
00:06Sometimes people expect you to represent the black community or women track athletes.
00:10How do you handle and deal with some of those pressures?
00:15Dealing with all of those pressures is, I wouldn't even see it as a pressure because I have a passion for every single topic.
00:21Being a black athlete, being black, running for my brand, being a professional track athlete, all of those things I have a passion for.
00:29So it's nothing that I feel a pressure I'm obligated to.
00:33But at the same, I just feel like people have to understand that we are people, too.
00:38Like the same things that they do today, how they get up every day and they function, we do the same thing.
00:44We just happen to be maybe a little faster.
00:46We can shoot hoop better.
00:48You know, we can probably swim a little better.
00:49That's it.
00:50But at the end, we're humans.
00:51And I just wish that the following will understand that that way they understand that we have a job just as well as they do.
00:58But at the same time, that our passion, if we can and if we choose to do that, of course, we're going to express that to show that their voices are being heard just as well because their voice is our voice.
01:09We are their voice.
01:10So I just want to just let my following know and just everyone know that, like, whatever I stand on, I definitely believe in.
01:16And I just want my following to know that I support them, too, just as much as they support me because without them, where would we be?
01:21Well, let's begin.
01:23Let's begin.
