Swin Cash talks about the importance of not letting haters get to you and controlling your own narrative.
Transcript
00:00How do you handle haters? And we'll start with you, Swin, but I want all of you guys to ask these questions, the doubters, whatever. How do you deal with them?
00:08You catch me, right? Because I'll pull up and be like, oh, I got time today. It's okay. I got time for you and I can reply back.
00:17But see, what I like to do is I like to educate people through my response, right?
00:21So if it's somebody that is talking and they're not even talking in facts and they're saying things, I would give them a tidbit of information before I block them.
00:30And then the other way that I handle it is sometimes not even responding.
00:35Like I kind of pick in shoes because sometimes I just give people the ability to sit there because a lot of times you have to keep in mind, people will write stuff and be sitting there all day.
00:45And I know this, sitting there waiting for a response because as soon as you respond, before you even finish, they're already trying to type something back.
00:53So you have to understand and pick your spots, but use your response as your release.
00:58I only respond when I need to release and make sure that I'm feeling good about it.
01:02I don't let people trigger me.
01:05That's what I would say, you know, both to Carrie, both to Moe is like, don't let people trigger you.
01:11Always control your narrative. Always control your response.
01:14And that's two things that I feel like that I've learned and been in the game for long that I really, truly mastered to an extent.
