00:20In Caracas, thousands of workers from unions and productive labor councils marched from the Bank of Venezuela to the Supreme Justice Court today
00:29to deliver a letter with a statement of support for Acting President Del C. Rodríguez
00:34and a demand that the proposals collectively developed by 30,000 workers who participated in the National Constituent Congress of the Working Class last December are codified into law.
00:48Today we come to the Supreme Court of Justice to present our law which is for the benefit of the workers of the Venezuelan people.
00:55It is a law that our commander, the constitutional president of the Bolivarian Republic of Venezuela,
01:01Nicolás Maduro Moros, had already advanced considerably.
01:05But now the acting president, Del C. Rodríguez, is accelerating the procedures to be able to dignify the Venezuelan people, the working class.
01:14February 2nd marks 27 years since Commander Hugo Chávez's first inauguration as president of Venezuela
01:21and one month since the United States government kidnapped President Nicolás Maduro and First Lady Celia Flores
01:27in violation of international norms.
01:31As has occurred in many other marches around Venezuela that have taken place in the last month,
01:36the protesters also demanded freedom for the president and First Lady.
01:39We, the indigenous peoples, are gathered here today in Caracas in support of our acting president, Del C. Rodríguez.
01:48We're also here to call for the release of our constitutional president of the Republic of Venezuela.
