00:00but i have to ask you why spanish what what led you to learning spanish and how do you see it
00:08fitting into like the global business you know what why why do you feel that it is important
00:13i i like dedicated practice ralph and so i mean i could have studied french and german
00:20in high school and unless there were you know kids in my class or the teacher that wanted to
00:25talk to me it really wasn't applicable outside the class and so by speaking spanish there were a ton
00:31of second language students at my high school but not only that just traveling around philadelphia
00:37and especially when i moved to tucson arizona for university pretty much outside the classroom was
00:43a classroom so i was able to get a lot of positive reinforcement from that language so to me it seemed
00:49to be the most realistic and applicable for where i was located and i could practice it the most
00:55and also i did decide to study spanish because of the university programs that were there they did have
01:02a study abroad program so i got to move to spain my junior year and as i mentioned before spanish is
01:11becoming one of the top spoken if not in the next maybe 10 or 20 years could be the number one spoken
01:17language in the states wow so unlike my friends if i were the only one that were bilingual maybe it
01:24may be more marketable ralph and and and it also enabled me to be able to get a job it's a beautiful
01:31language it's a beautiful language i mean um i don't know i mean i i i stopped pretty much at
