00:07You know, great artists, great composers, great actors, great makeup artists,
00:11great costume designers, great sound people.

00:18You've obviously been through this before with Lovecraft, Mudbound,
00:21you know, going through the award circuit.
00:23How does Oscar campaigning on this side compare?
00:25This is, um, this is, all of them are wonderful.
00:29All of them are great.
00:31But this one's, this one's, uh, this is special.
00:32This is a very special one. Yeah.
00:35I know you said in our Oscar roundtable, you like the pressure of the studio.
00:38And I think there was extra pressure here,
00:40basically having to write your song, you know, day one coming in.
00:44Is there any other experience in your career songwriting that is comparable to that?
00:48That's uncomfortable?
00:49That's comparable to that level of pressure?
00:51Every time I make an album or anything or produce them,
00:54another artist, it's always a challenge, you know?
00:56So I think it's all, it's all relative.
00:59Yeah.
01:00Brent Fires' album is coming out just a couple days.
01:03You're executive producer.
01:04What can you kind of tease about it?
01:06What was the experience like?
01:07It's iconic.
01:08You know, he's iconic.
01:09This album is different from some of his other projects.
01:12He really, really dove into it and really, um,
01:15and really put his, his, his world into it.
01:18You know, he sat in the studio with his, with his crew and his team,
01:21and he really thought this one out.
01:22So I'm really excited for people to get the chance to hear what he's put together.
01:26Yes.
01:27What is next for you after this?
01:28Um, next for me, um, four albums next year, uh, my vinyl club,
01:33and also, uh, a documentary that I'm actually directing,
01:37my first director's debut.
