00:30Okay, I'm in the back trying to review my cards to introduce the next panel, and my wig ended up across the street, metaphorically, because, you know, it's not a wig, but a couple bundles.
00:48But still, I really hope that y'all paid attention to the wanker math, because I know I did.
00:54I took notes from the back, okay?
00:56So apply it, disrupt, and be great, okay?
00:59How we feeling?
00:59We good?
01:00We still feeling good?
01:01Okay, perfect.
01:02So earlier today, 10 lucky disruptors had the chance to experience the live version of the E-Suite app.
01:11So right now, I want to welcome back to the stage, Aaliyah Hawk, COO of the Academy for Advancing Excellence, back to the stage.
01:19And also, Chelsea Spencer-Smith, an executive coach with the Academy for Advancing Excellence, to show us some receipts.
01:27What's been going on since part one?
01:29Let us know.
01:37All right.
01:40So as we said, we are here to show you the receipts.
01:44Before we do so, we thought that we would only have about 10 people to experience coaching.
01:50And we ended up with a full room.
01:53It was standing room only.
01:55There were over 22, 23 participants in a space to really learn more about coaching.
02:02How many of you have downloaded the app?
02:05Okay, I need to see more hands.
02:07E360 app, Essence 360, go to your Google Play Store, go to your Apple, go to your App Store.
02:16There is a QR code over here, but do please download that app.
02:20When I tell you coaching is the thing that you did not know that you need, but you need it, trust me, okay?
02:28Try it out.
02:29Try out coaching.
02:30Make the investment in yourself.
02:32So often, we will invest in other things, experiences, shoes, purses, all of those things, but we don't always invest in ourselves.
02:40And what's so wonderful about this professional development app is it makes coaching accessible to us.
02:47So Chelsea Spencer-Smith is one of our executive coaches.
02:50I want to give her the space to talk a little bit about the experience that we had during coaching hours, and then we get to show you the receipts.
02:57Yes, thank you so much, Aaliyah.
02:59It was a pleasure to engage over 20 women, really having deep, rich conversations, being authentic.
03:08But I want to bridge something.
03:10Caroline was talking earlier about authenticity, but also she was really focusing on knowing yourself.
03:17So this particular app is going to help you bridge the gap to knowing more about yourself and your authentic self.
03:25You're going to have an opportunity to learn how you can level up, how you can give of service, how you can be held accountable, and how you can really tap into all of your superpowers and all the things that you bring to the table.
03:37All right, so as I said, we have the receipts, and I want to welcome up four participants in the office hours.
03:46We've got Kaya.
03:48We've got Mona Lisa.
03:49Y'all got to get louder than that now.
03:51Come on.
03:53We've got Madison, and we have Raven.
03:55So we will start right here.
03:57This is Kaya.
03:58Kaya, tell us where you're from.
03:59Tell us a little bit about your experience.
04:02Hi.
04:02I'm not from Atlanta, but I live in Atlanta.
04:04I just moved here in March, so hey, y'all.
04:08And I'm a fashion stylist, so during this session, I just learned how to find, like, my community and have people hold me accountable because sometimes, as an entrepreneur, it can be pretty isolating.
04:18You know, you're by yourself trying to grind it out, do what you need to do, but having people in your corner to hold you accountable and say, hey, are you doing this?
04:26Do you need help with this?
04:28Just reminded me that I do need that, you know, coaching and that accountability.
04:33Thank you so much.
04:34If you want to pass the mic, Mona Lisa, tell us where you're from.
04:38I am from originally Columbus, Ohio, but I'm here in Atlanta.
04:42Okay, Columbus.
04:45I work in data analytics and also influencer management, and so I really wanted insights on how to transition from being in corporate America to running my own business and the right time to do that.
04:56And that session was really helpful because I learned the importance of having a business plan and being prepared and having funding, but also what is the difference between having things like a sponsorship, a coach, a mentorship, and the difference between having your sisters in your corner and then people who can be like a board of a director.
05:14So that was really big for me.
05:16So I just want to pause for one second because, you know, this was only a 30-minute session with 20-plus people.
05:25And think about the impact that you're hearing, and we're going to continue in just one moment.
05:28But think about when you make the decision to go on the app and to coach, the value that you can get from a session or two or three or ten or whatever it is so that you can go to the next level.
05:42So I just want us to all be thinking about that, like, wow, this was just 30 minutes.
05:46What happens if I really do make that choice and shift the mindset to say I'm making this investment in myself?
05:53All right, Madison, you're up.
05:55Hi, everyone.
05:57How are we doing today?
05:58How are we?
05:59Here we are.
06:00I'm Madison Orr.
06:02I am a junior at Georgia State University where I major in theater.
06:06Yes, Georgia State.
06:09Raise your hand if you've ever walked into a room and felt inspired.
06:15Today.
06:15Today.
06:17Raise your hand if you've ever walked into a room and said, I want to change.
06:25If you haven't raised your hand, you need to change the rooms that you're in.
06:31If you have raised your hand, that is what I felt today and during this session.
06:37I really felt inspired because oftentimes we as women, or I can speak for myself, I oftentimes compare myself, whether it's on social media or through social groups or through academics.
06:46I'm like, dang, this person got 14K fallibles.
06:49What am I doing wrong?
06:50This person making straight A's and I'm in the library.
06:53What am I doing wrong?
06:54And so oftentimes we also, we always ask ourselves, what are we doing wrong?
06:58But today I realized you can't compare yourself, that your journey is strictly your journey, that you have to embrace the journeys and the good and the bad and learn that it's okay to be authentically you, that there will be ups and there will be downs.
07:14But honestly, continue, whether it's through sisterhood or mentorship, coaching has truly provided a space where we can all come together and say, look, we don't always have it together, but we got this.
07:26Or learning the art of not having to compare yourself to the next person because what's meant for you will always find you.
07:32So always remaining inspired and always finding the beauty in change and growth.
07:39So I really, I felt inspired tonight, honestly.
07:43And let me just say, before we wrap up with Raven and Chelsea, we did not pay anybody.
07:50This is all randomly selected.
07:51But as I'm hearing this, I'm like, we should have paid y'all.
07:54Y'all doing great.
07:55Okay, Raven, you're up.
07:57Hello, everybody.
07:58My name is Raven.
07:59So what I learned today, which I think was more valuable than anything, is just support.
08:04So me personally, I'm an only child.
08:06My mom's not really the best.
08:07So, you know, when you find your support or you find other people who are like-minded, it's so valuable.
08:15And I feel like what I learned today was reach out to your network.
08:18If there are people, like-minded individuals, you know, just step outside your comfort zone.
08:21Be nice to those people.
08:22Say hi.
08:23It's probably a lot of you in this room and you're like, oh, she was cool.
08:26I spoke to everybody.
08:27Just be kind.
08:28Be friendly.
08:29And work on mastering your own mind.
08:31Look for people who want to do what you want to do.
08:33Or maybe there's something that you're not good at and there's people here who are like, oh, I'm interested in that.
08:39Talk to those people.
08:40Get their number.
08:41Change Instagrams.
08:41Exchange emails.
08:43But work on it.
08:44You know what I mean?
08:45Like, at the end of all of this, I hope everybody has changed for the better some way, some shape, some form.
08:50But just leave gaining something.
08:53And coaching, that is definitely what they taught me.
08:55Support, support, support.
08:56Whether it's finding the support that you already have at home, actually utilizing that support, telling the people who care about you what you need from them.
09:03Or what we did today.
09:05These four ladies are my mastermind.
09:06You know, we're going to stay in touch.
09:07We're going to keep in contact.
09:08We're going to hold each other accountable.
09:09And this wouldn't have happened without coaching and just being open to the idea of there's more out there.
09:16So, yeah.
09:16Wow.
09:17Ladies, I'm so humbled at this moment, really.
09:20I was, you know, coaching and facilitating such a rich conversation.
09:25And so many of the ladies were very vulnerable, authentic, and transparent.
09:28I saw in each one of your eyes that what we were talking about was resonating and it was laying on your spirit in a different kind of way to want to really level up.
09:38And I think it's a time and the space for our community to level up.
09:43And our ancestors are requiring us to do so.
09:47They are happy and they want to see us level up.
09:51So, thank you so much for trusting me and leaning in.
09:54And I really am excited for what you all have to come.
09:57And, yes, we need everybody to download the app right now.
10:01So, that's my little two cents.
10:04All right.
10:04So, if you have not downloaded the app, please do so.
10:07If you have not, say you're just debating, am I going to do this?
10:13If these were not the most amazing testimonials, I do want to get a round of applause for them because they just came up here very courageously and you see how well they spoke.
10:24So, just a deep thank you for sharing your experience.
10:27As Chelsea mentioned, it was a very vulnerable space.
10:30And we just appreciate, again, the opportunity to be in front of you and to bring this to you because we know that it is of value.
10:37So, thank you so much.
10:39And we will hopefully see you on the app.
10:41Take care.
