00:00The Time Keepers have built quite the circus, and I see the clowns are playing their parts to perfection.
00:08After Loki became the most watched series premiere on Disney+, the streaming service is shifting its original series release day from Friday to Wednesday.
00:17Loki premiered on Wednesday, June 9th.
00:19Why me?
00:19I need your unique Loki perspective.
00:23Do I get a weapon?
00:24Nah.
00:24I don't.
00:25I don't.
00:55I don't.
00:56I don't.
00:57It's laughter we're after.
01:00We're gonna need to find a couple of hundred more funny monsters.
01:03Excuse me, Tyler Tuskman, official scarer.
01:06What?
01:06Scarer?
01:07The change means that Disney+, TV series like Loki and original films like Black Widow will no longer have to compete with one another for subscriber's attention.
01:14It also moves Disney+, original series away from Netflix, which has historically launched entire seasons of shows on Fridays.
01:21Disney Plus continues to focus on a weekly release schedule versus Netflix's binge model.
01:26Shows including The Mandalorian, High School Musical, The Musical, The Series, WandaVision,
01:31and The Falcon and the Winter Soldier previously launched on Fridays and had to compete for
01:35weekend attention with originals on other streaming platforms.
