00:00So during this moment of Me Too and Time's Up, how do you think the music industry can
00:04sort of respond?
00:05Well, I think all of us have to do better, and we haven't had a lot of news coming out
00:10of the music business.
00:11I don't think it's because it's not happened, I just think that a lot of it hasn't come
00:14out yet.
00:15So I think we all should be listening to what's happening and making sure we're all doing
00:18the right thing when it comes to how we treat each other, but also how we hire, how we set
00:24policies for the people that work for us.
00:26We all have a responsibility to make sure everyone feels safe at work.
00:29I think that there's nowhere that we don't need to be conscious of it.
00:31I don't think it's specific to any particular industry.
00:33I think it's wonderful that the Hollywood side of things has been getting so much attention
00:36because I think that's sort of the most thrust into the spotlight.
00:39I think as long as we're equally conscious in every place, whether it's music or finance,
00:44what have you, I think we're on a good track.
00:45I think the entertainment industry in many ways is kind of out front and has been so vocal
00:52and is organizing as a community and taking a stand, and not only taking a stand, but taking
00:58real action.
00:59I think everybody sharing their truth is ultimately what's going to give power to the voices and
01:05to those stories.
01:06Just seeing other women speak up makes you feel like you have more of a voice.
01:11More of a voice.
01:12More of a voice.
01:16More of a voice.
