00:15Beyoncé will replace an offensive lyric on her new album Renaissance after a line in
00:19the track Heated drew backlash from users on social media.
00:23Similar to Lizzo's Girls, Beyoncé used the word spaz where the singer drops into a rap

00:30Bey was quick to react to the backlash and released a statement saying,
00:39The word, not used intentionally in a harmful way, will be replaced.

00:49change the lyrics in their songs.
00:51Additionally, songwriter Diane Warren came under fire on Monday after seemingly calling
00:56out Beyoncé for each song on Renaissance, having a number of writing credits.

01:19So we started sampling and it became an art form.
01:22A major part of the black culture, hip hop in America.
01:25Had that era not happened?
01:26Who knows?
01:27You good?
01:28This member of the beehive replied, the same way you have 13 nominations and no wins, referring
01:33to how Diane has never won an Oscar, so maybe girl, don't come for the beehive.
01:37In the end, Warren said she meant no disrespect and was unaware of the sampling.
01:41There's been a lot of educating happening this week and it's only Tuesday.
