00:00Drake May is getting ready to go out west, and Drake May is dealing with something with his shoulder.
00:05You, Phil, have reported that he was dealing with some sort of shoulder ailment,
00:10and we have defined ailment and injury as two separate things.
00:14Injury meaning you're at risk of not playing in a game,
00:16ailment being something that's just bothering you.
00:19I was using the word issue, but yeah.
00:20Issue or ailment, I think that's, yeah, same idea.
00:23You reported this has been going on for a bit prior to playing in Denver against the Broncos.
00:29Yeah, the shoulder, what I was told was the shoulder wasn't perfect before the game,
00:33but then obviously you get hit, and now he's dealing with something more severe
00:38that's limiting him in practice.
00:40So that to me right now is the real question, is how much is it limiting him?
00:45How much might it limit him come the Super Bowl?
00:48I can tell you just having spoken to some people in the organization,
00:51they're not overwhelmingly concerned.
00:53That's not what I have sensed about how he'll be able to perform when the Super Bowl arrives.
00:59But let's see, right?
01:01Let's just see what his level of participation is in practice.
01:03Let's see what the reports are coming out of the pool reports.
01:06Zoe, during Super Bowl week, we know you've got one reporter who's there
01:09and gets to basically watch the whole thing.
01:12And so it'll be interesting to see how much detail we get as to how much he's doing
01:16and how he looks.
01:17Have they deemed who that reporter will be?
01:20They probably have.
01:22I just don't know right now.
01:23For years and years, it was Peter King had at least one of the teams.
01:29Mike Silver has done it for years.
01:31Tom Curran has done it before when the Patriots have been in the Super Bowl.
01:34So I don't know who's there for the Patriots this week.
01:37The thing I wanted to ask, though, about from a practice perspective yesterday
01:40is no one threw a football quarterback-wise, and I waited until you were in here.
01:44Do you think that was by design?
01:45No one picked up a football and threw it while the media was watching?
01:48It's unusual.
01:48Okay.
01:49Yeah.
01:49So even if we're only in there for one period of practice, which we were essentially yesterday.
01:54So yesterday we saw stretching and one period.
01:56And the first period was field goal, which is – that's usually an end-of-practice thing.
02:01We're not out there for every practice.
02:03I'm certainly not out there for every single practice during the regular season.
02:07Field goal often is sort of like an end-of-practice thing, I thought.
02:12But yeah, even Mike Reese, I saw, wrote something about it today.
02:14It's just – it's a little bit of a break from the norm from the Thursday, the typical Thursday practice,
02:19to not see them at least sort of warm up and throw some footballs around.
02:23Are they hiding him?
02:25Are they hiding that he's not throwing the ball right now?
02:27I think they're keeping a microscope off it right now.
02:29Okay.
02:30All right.
02:30We're keeping aogie.
02:31All right.
02:31We're keeping aogie.
02:32Okay.
02:33We're keeping aogie.
02:34All right.
02:34We're keeping ague.
