00:00Moving forward, there is this discussion about what would be best for the Patriots big picture.
00:06And when we talk about opponents in the playoffs, I think this Bills loss is going to weigh heavily on everybody's opinion that Buffalo will be the team that undoubtedly everyone in New England will agree.
00:19Oh, that kind of scares us as it should based on how Sunday played out for the same reason.
00:24You would have been scared of Mahomes, even if the Chiefs are.
00:26Well, you got to talk to McCone.
00:28That's his bit.
00:28He was terrified of Mahomes.
00:31Not anymore.
00:32I wasn't.
00:33Not this year.
00:34But let's talk about it because now there's this idea that I'm blaming Brian Hoyer for because it's catching on.
00:41This clip is catching on.
00:42I've heard it played now multiple times.
00:43The idea that it's better for the Patriots to not win the AFC East.
00:48I think having home games would be beneficial.
00:51I also wouldn't count on the playoff picture staying exactly the same as it is right now.
00:57In other words, something's going to happen.
00:58Well, I mean, like the Jags go to Denver this week.
01:02Jacksonville could wind up being a wild card, you know, like is it Pittsburgh or is it Baltimore that coming out of the AFC North Pittsburgh started to play better.
01:11I don't know how much people have watched the last couple of weeks, but Aaron Rodgers on Monday night looked as comfortable as he's looked in two years.
01:17So now and I'd say a big part of that is the old Brady Manning thing, which is like when he has veteran players around him, he just plays better.
01:24He had Adam Thielen, DK Metcalf, Marquez Valdez-Scantling, who he played with in Green Bay out there.
01:30All of a sudden, he looks okay.
01:31He looks better.
01:32So and they did that without TJ Watt the other night.
01:35So like I just think like we can take these snapshots over the course of the year.
01:39And I think it's always about how you're playing in January, but I feel like that's even more so this year than ever before.
