00:01It's the nation's favourite antiques experts.
00:05Buying the wheel of a classic car.
00:07This car dancing!
00:09And a goal to scar Britain for antiques.
00:12The aim? To make the biggest profit at auction.
00:16But it's no mean feat.
00:18There'll be worthy winners.
00:20Tickety-boo.
00:21And valiant losers.
00:22Oh dear.
00:23Will it be the high road to glory?
00:25I feel like we're in a James Bond film.
00:27Or the slow road to disaster?
00:29This is Antiques Road Trip.
00:34Yeah.
00:39And we're off.
00:40On the final leg of their frivolous frolic across England,
00:44our esteemed experts, Hetty Jago and Ishi Khan,
00:48are set for their final battle in Northumberland.
00:51It's felt like a proper holiday, hasn't it?
00:53It's been so nice.
00:54It's going to be weird going back to work.
00:56I know. I don't want to go back to real life.
00:58This has been so much fun.
00:59Travelling the country in a Porsche.
01:01And not just any Porsche.
01:03A bright red gleaming electric Porsche.
01:07912 from 1968.
01:09I'm really going to miss Ruby.
01:12I know. Bless her.
01:13We've loved her while it's lasted, haven't we?
01:15We can't take her home with us.
01:17I wish...
01:18I wish this was the prize.
01:20No prizes here, my lad.
01:22Only glory.
01:23Last time Ishi fell head over heels for some candlesticks.
01:26I'm never going to see another pair of these.
01:27And haggled hard for them.
01:28Can I just twist your arm and do 120?
01:29Yeah.
01:30Love you.
01:31Whilst his road trip rival...
01:32Surprise!
01:33... dug for buried treasure.
01:34Just in my element when I'm looking at a cabinet full of silver.
01:36But it was her £20 clock that delivered victory.
01:371.30, Michelle at 1.30.
01:38Hetty's made a clean sweep so far at 4-0.
01:43So this is Ishi's last chance to be crowned king of the sale room.
01:47And perhaps the universe is on his side.
01:49Hetty, the sun's coming out.
01:50It is a bit, isn't it?
01:52It's something to come out on your win at the end.
01:53The hopes were the replenished kitty of £200 apiece.
02:10Let's get out there and make it happen!
02:12The roughly diagonal jaunt across England began in the next few years.
02:16It's crazy to you!
02:17their roughly diagonal jaunt across england again in penzance followed by a saunter north through
02:22somerset and yorkshire and they'll finish right on the scottish border i'm really excited me too
02:30i want to end this on a high yeah let's just buy stuff we love now yeah let's just have fun
02:34yeah fun is the main objective then profit after i wonder how long that will last
02:39today our pals are speeding north through northumberland to berwick upon tweed but their
02:47first stop is in historic annick cradled within 5 000 feet of defensive walls the gigantic castle
02:56has loomed over annick since 11 38. their first job is the beehive whose bounty is bound to dazzle them
03:05out of some dough this is a really cool vibe in here isn't it all right which way are you going
03:11uh that way i think all right see you in a minute this boutique is bursting with vintage kitsch and
03:18quirky finds as well as a plethora of antique curios curated by their dozen or so dealers
03:25and making sure everything is spick and span today is owner alex
03:29is that your game face is she well they do say you get a feel for antiques after a while
03:38who are you midor and what are you midor is a tobacco jar so this would have been used as a humidor
03:48very good a hue midor that's on a par with one of your jokes is she you would put your tobacco inside
03:56you'd have a little disc that kept the tobacco moist i'm just going to put the head down
04:01it's from france i believe this is a saint clement piece founded in 1758 by jacques chambre the saint
04:11clement factory quickly became a highly respected maker even favored by marie antoinette and i believe
04:17this is a majolica example from that time period and saint clement porcelain often has this type of
04:23coloring the muted tones of the paintwork all across the surface and it's only 85 pounds if we
04:29can get a better price on this i think it would be a really nice thing to take to auction strong strong
04:34contender be good but could he be top dog at auction
04:41over yonder hetty spotted another four-legged friend meow and a two-legged one as well pick me hetty
04:53this however looks more promising it's heavy really heavy careful then you break it you buy it
05:00now this is quite a nice example of a punch bowl the term punch started being used during the 17th
05:06century punch was brought home by sailors in the british east india trade european wine often ran out
05:13on voyages so they mixed spirits with sugar and spices creating possibly the first ever cocktail
05:19initially it would have been drunk by gentlemen maybe in a tavern or in small gatherings at home
05:25but it wasn't until sort of the regency era and the victorian period where it became sort of a
05:29ceremonial thing in terms of this particular example i think it's probably 20th century made
05:35in china in the famil rose style because of these beautiful pink flowers inside now it's got 75
05:42pounds on the ticket price you get a lot for your money for 75 pounds don't you the most important
05:48thing does it ring really nicely if you get quite a dull sound it indicates there's some sort of damage
05:54somewhere maybe a crack in it so i think it's 75 pounds that's not a huge amount of money for it
05:59i'm gonna have a think about this one indeed but keep it under your hat with ishy around though
06:06ishy what is that it's really cool isn't it do you reckon two can fit on that two can two can
06:17oh good one is she
06:21now a little birdie tells me there's a competition to be won
06:24oh i've just found something really really cute look at this tiny miniature chair what i love about
06:33it is this beautiful filigree filigrees been practiced for thousands of years you've got this
06:37beautiful wire work in between the frame and it would have taken a lot of work to produce this tiny
06:42tiny chair now i think it's made of silver i'd say it's probably continental silver so 800 grade in the
06:49uk the british standard is 925 now it's 25 pounds on the ticket price which might be a little bit too
06:55much for it but i really really like it and also doll's house furniture miniature novelty things do
07:00quite well at auction i'm going to ask about this because i really really like it it's cute it's
07:04collectible i think it's going to come with me don't forget that bowl you fancied hello alex
07:12oh hiya i found two things i like one extreme to the other really this absolutely tiny little chair
07:17right um now that's 25 pounds is there anything you could do now i do notice you've got both things
07:23from the same dealer so i can do a bit 20 on that one okay that's the rather large punch bowl 75 is
07:30on that i could do 55. so how much is that for the two 85 yeah 75. oh no i nearly nearly overpaid
07:37thank you i'll show your hands at 75. thank you very much very kind alex that's 20 for the filigree chair
07:44and 55 for the punch bowl thank you so much i hope it does well for you hetty thank you thank you
07:50thank you that bounteous start means hetty has 125 pounds left you need to be careful with this that
07:59you do now back inside how's ishi's hunt going how to be an antique stealer you don't need that old
08:09champ back to work what are we going to find look at this now this isn't a large christmas bauble this
08:18is a witch's ball these date from the early 16th century onwards and they were used to protect your
08:24house from evil spirits or witches so witches weren't believed to have a reflection by hanging
08:30these up it would scare away and protect you from them they were gilded inside with mercury and other
08:36metals they are quite rare and highly sought after at 125 pounds it is a large chunk of the budget
08:42but what a nice thing gorgeous but you'll be in the dog house if you leave this fella behind
08:48ruff mark how are you ishi how are you mate very well thank you good good i've settled on a good boy
08:55mr medore has a price tag of 85 pounds yep is there any room if i said 60 pounds how's that going to do
09:02for you it's a deal it's a pleasure thank you so much wonderful very generous mark 60 pounds take
09:10care see you and that leaves ishi with 140 pounds left in his pocket the door saved me from having a
09:17rough day now hetty has hopped north to her next shop in the village of powerburn nestled in the cheviot
09:27hills hetty's next hunting ground hedgely antique center is a paradise for perusers with 30 dealers
09:35spread out across 240 square meters of selling space there's plenty to keep hetty busy
09:43i see no ships and diligently minding the shop is dealer charles i think you missed a bit there charles
09:50just behind you back in the cabinets again no that's not like you hetty now this is quite a nice
09:58thing so it's a watch chain i'd say it's probably 19th century it's for a pocket watch this t-bar here
10:06would go into the button slot in your jacket and then the other end of it the dog clip would attach
10:12to the loop of your pocket watch so you could have your pocket watch in your pocket safely attached to
10:16your jacket it's made of a material called pinchbeck now pinchbeck was invented around about 1720 by
10:22christopher pinchbeck as essentially an imitation gold it's actually a combination of copper and zinc
10:28up until probably the early 1800s it was the most popular type of imitation gold because it didn't
10:34tarnish it didn't wear the rich used pinchbeck pieces as traveling jewelry hold-ups by highway men
10:43were common in those days and better to lose a pinchbeck necklace than a solid gold one now it's
10:49got 120 pounds on the ticket i like it a lot but i don't think i'm going to make a profit on that
10:55better move on then plenty more to see hello what's your name gregory nice to meet you gregory
11:05you're going to help me choose something to buy says yeah nodding come on then
11:12the two of us oh there'll always be for you and me there's just the two of us adorable
11:24she's smitten not very talkative today are you you two are unbearably cute hello charles
11:31hello hetty how are you doing all right i've made a friend oh a lovely friend yeah yeah this
11:36is gregory now gregory he doesn't want to go to auction no because that would make him sad
11:40um but he does want to come with me on the rest of the trip so i'm going to buy him with my own money
11:44yes thank you thank you very much what a happy ending for gregory
11:51now off in the motor her previous bestie is completely unaware he's been usurped i'm hoping
12:00for a surprise week now i really want to find something that's going to take me to an auction
12:05win i'm sure there's about to be some hidden treasure here there always is but the trick is finding it
12:13and he's off to search further north close to the scottish border at ford
12:18for a small village this place packs quite a punch it has a castle a medieval church a hall
12:25covered in pre-raphelite paintings an appeal tower
12:31it also has this place old forge antiques ishi's next destination this is one of the prettiest antique
12:39shops i think probably in the world just look at this door stunning and not too bad inside where
12:47ishi has an eclectic mix of antiques collectibles vintage clothing and rare books to rummage through
12:54all watched over today by owner john hi john mike get this for hetty champion you still have a chance to
13:04win today ishi so come on focus let's see what we can scout out getting warmer got some collars got some
13:15collar studs as well so how you would use a collar stud you would take your collar then you would take
13:22your collar stud you'd thread it through the hole take a look at that you'd have your starched collar and
13:27this would allow you to hold it in place very dapper old chap but this is no time for playing fancy dress
13:34back to those studs so let's take a look at what buttons we've got here these i would say date to
13:40around 1910 maybe some of them are a little bit earlier these appear to be bakelite plastic but i can
13:47see some in here that look like they could be made of gold this one is marked nine carat i can't see a
13:54ticket price on here so i think it's gonna be worth talking to john see how much we can get them for
13:58this could be a winner good spot back in power burn gregory's taking a breather but hetty's bravely
14:07soldiering on now it's the final leg of the trip and i really want to buy something i absolutely love
14:13this example of a silver victorian bangle is so beautiful now i'm just looking for a hallmark and
14:19very often victorian silver jewelry is unmarked but i know it's definitely silver it's tarnished
14:24in the right way it's got the right weight to it it's got the right feel the victorians love this
14:29sort of over-the-top decoration it's a lot to look at and generally not the sort of style that people
14:35like these days but there is a really good collector's market for victorian jewelry now this
14:40is only 35 pounds which is a good price for it i think it's going to have to come with me i just love it
14:47and she's back again now for a grown-up deal hello charles what have you found this time beautiful
14:53silver bang yes it is nice now it's got 35 pounds on it do you think there's any movement on that 32
14:59that would be the best to be fair that's a very very good price for it so i'm glad yeah we'll take your
15:04hand thank you very much charles very fair 30 yeah and two pounds okay thank you take care bye now
15:12and that leaves her with 93 pounds for tomorrow's shopping do you like your new accessory gregory
15:20i love it
15:24now back in ford looks like ishi's spending some time outside in the herb garden what is this
15:34we've got a paddle spear made out of wood lovely cross hatching on the handle here i don't believe
15:41that this was used as a weapon i think this is a ceremonial spear so it would have been used in the
15:45events dancing now where is it from to me the shape and the cross hatching suggest this is probably
15:51african instead of asian probably 20th century it could have been made for the tourist market
15:55on the ticket we have 25 pounds for 25 pounds i can't see it going too wrong hopefully john can do
16:03me a mint deal on it oh lordy john how are you hello i found a couple of treasures in here so the
16:11first is this african spear and then this box of studs now some of them are marked for precious metal
16:18but it's ticketless so i was just curious how much this is first probably started about 50 pounds perfect
16:25and this has 25 pounds on it so we're looking at 75 pounds for the pair if i take both is there any
16:31movement it's 60 for the two 60 for the pair that's very fair thank you so much good it's marvelous
16:38that's 40 for the collar studs and 20 for the spear 60 pounds for you right thank you thank you so much
16:44though okay thank you so that's just 80 pounds left in his kitty cannot wait to show hetty these she
16:53might have a little something to show you first ishi i have somebody to introduce you to
17:01there was three of us there are three of us in the car you don't look so scared it's not an animal
17:05though contra sort of an animal who's this this is gregory am i that bad company you had to bring
17:12someone else in oh no well you made us a family doing this road trip together gregory you're happy
17:19yeah and then they all lived happily ever after nighty night
17:29morning it's a new day and ishi is in a very good mood
17:33some ones and their porridge are you sure gregory's not carsick oh no is he he looks a bit ill
17:47doesn't he looks a bit green oh bless him green the envy for all your wonderful purchases yesterday
17:53perhaps let's review ishi snapped up a ceremonial spear a dog shaped humidor and a box of vintage
18:03collar studs take a look at that he has just 80 pounds still to play with whereas hetty plumped
18:10for a victorian bangle a miniature silver chair and a giant punch bowl it's heavy she has 93 pounds left
18:19in her coffers but shopping is far from their minds so in terms of sweet treats are you more
18:26uh sweet or savory would you say jelly sweets all that kind of stuff i love it i'm a bit of a savory
18:32girl i would say actually yeah i just love crisps crisps and chips i don't think i could live without
18:37just any form of potato i think their next stop might be much more ishi's cup of tea than
18:43they're heading westwards across the border into scotland to a rather plush estate in gordon
18:52this grand family seat is mellestane house the home of lady grizzle bailey an 18th century poet
19:00and songwriter who lived an extraordinary life from dangerous missions as a girl to leaving unparalleled
19:08records of household life in scotland and a culinary gift to boot our pals are here to meet tour guide
19:16leslie abernethy to find out more about her and her origins follow me oh amazing thank you
19:24over the fireplace you can see the portrait of lady grizzle's father sir patrick hume he was
19:32a covenanter which in the 1680s was treasonable the scottish covenanters were presbyterians who opposed
19:41royal interference in the church of scotland believing that only christ had dominion over
19:47their church not the king he was being hunted and he went into hiding in the burial vault of
19:53polworth kirk for over a month so his 18 year old daughter grizzle would go every night over a mile
20:02through a dark wood possibly meeting the king's soldiers on the way to take her father some food wow
20:11this wasn't her first mission for her father at age 12 grizzle smuggled a letter to his imprisoned
20:17comrade robert bailey she went on to marry his son george which is how she came to live at mellestane
20:25wow wow the ceiling so what was lady grizzle's life like living here it was troubled times the jacobite
20:33raided in 1715 and took all the family pewter tableware to make bullets but generally speaking
20:43she had a good life here with her children she was determined her daughters should be educated
20:51she was a doting matriarch and an accomplished woman herself her poetry and songs were published in her
20:57lifetime but it was another type of writing that made her most famous i can show you the first of
21:05her household books as you can see she calls it her day book and 1692 is when she begins it's all divided
21:17up into clothing food and furniture everything is carefully itemized in sections and this must give
21:26you a perfect idea of what her life was like at that time yes it's an absolute snapshot a time capsule of
21:34all the detail of life which otherwise we wouldn't know grizzle kept these accounts until her death
21:41in 1746 they're a gold mine of information for historians but they house yet another gift the
21:48first written recipe for the scottish sweet treat tablet and grizzle's descendant george haddington is
21:55going to show r2 how it's made it's actually a very easy recipe back in lady grizzle's day it was just
22:02made with sugar and water a bit leaner the sweet has evolved with the scottish people who nowadays
22:09like their tablet a little more luxurious today we use a lot of butter and condensed milk yum
22:16i like to add a bit of cardamom rich could you grind of course so do you think that lady grizzle might
22:22have invented it then i don't think she invented it no i think that tablet must have been part of the oral
22:28tradition for generations george's modern recipe combines butter water and sugar in a saucepan
22:36bring to a simmer add a dollop of condensed milk cook for 20-ish minutes and then put in a dish to set
22:45the trick is to score it with a knife because once it's hard if you just try and cut it it'll break and
22:52crumble whereas if you've added some scoring lines it will break apart neatly it's hard to imagine
23:00that this grand house one of architect robert adam's best could house the earliest record of this
23:07humble delicacy tablets ready let's give this a go okay cheers cheers cheers cheers tastes amazing
23:18this sweet crumbly melt-in-the-mouth treat has evolved and endured for centuries its commercial market is
23:25huge but nothing beats a homemade batch but that's enough scoffing for one day there are antiques to
23:34be bought sadly it looks like the weather has turned again hetty is gregory going to auction no gregory's
23:43not going to auction you can uncover his ears he's happy okay okay he's my little mascot now i'm
23:47going to take him home afterwards ah how sweet now our adorable trio are heading east for their final
23:56shopping extravaganza back over the border in berwick upon tweed rumor has it the town's oldest stone
24:05bridge was built because james vi of scotland was less than impressed with the rickety wooden one that
24:11preceded it and talking of fussy visitors to the town here's a couple of discerning shoppers oh hetty
24:19it all comes down to this this is our last shop i know i feel a bit sad that our trip's over is she me
24:23too but come on let's get looking end it on a high number one wool market vintage department store
24:32is crowned with curios and collectibles it's an antique lovers paradise with an abundance of nooks and
24:38crannies for r2 to scar such a nice bell
24:48go on put some welly into it old chap this is a joke ben an owner phillips keeping a close eye on
24:55things today let's see what turns up oh what's that he spotted let's take a closer look at this
25:05so we've got a bookmark made out of brass so here we have the clip that clips onto the book and then
25:11it's in the form of a hand with an agate orb in the center so agate is a natural hard stone which was
25:18often faceted and used in jewelry because it has these beautiful striations so you would polish the
25:25rough material and you're left with these incredible patterns the piece dates to around 1900 it could be
25:32a little bit earlier but it's very late victorian we've got the whimsy and the novelty and there is
25:36age to this piece ticket price 12 pounds now i've seen these sell at auction for 50 to 100 pounds so at
25:4312 pounds i think that this could be a strong contender first find of the day cracking is she
25:51pocket that for later now how's hetty doing wow look at that it's really beautiful isn't it
26:03i love a bit of art glass now i can't see a signature on it it's sort of murano
26:09in style and murano glass sells really well at auction murano glass goes back centuries but after
26:16a long period of decline it had a resurgence in the 1960s new designers influenced by abstract and pop
26:24art created distorted forms and bright colors and thanks to the current trend in mid-century design
26:31it's popular again i just love the colors of it and look at the way it reflects the light
26:36it's a really stunning piece this is not the sort of thing i would normally buy but i love the mid-century
26:42style i love the colors it's just such a sculptural thing and really quite unusual and at 25 pounds i
26:49don't think that's a bad price for it so i'm gonna have to think about this one i'm a little bit sold i
26:54just think it's so pretty very left field for you hetty i wonder if this she is breaking out of his
27:04comfort zone vintage lucky horseshoes and a nice jewelry case what's in this box i guess not
27:13it's not sadly a diamond riviere this is paste costume jewelry set with rhinestones and white metal
27:2215 pounds with case i don't think the necklace is worth that but the box definitely is
27:28it's a beautiful box i've got this beautiful velvet interior and it says james ramsey goldsmith and watch
27:35manufacturer from dundee boxes are getting harder and harder to find in good clean condition
27:40it's wooden construction and then it's lined with leather and then we've got this gilt detailing
27:45across the surface the hinge and the clasp work perfectly looks like it dates to the early 20th
27:52century probably 1920s it's in the victorian style but i think it's a bit later just based on the
27:57condition for 15 pounds just for the box i think that's a good deal i'm in two minds about this i like
28:03it but is it a smart purchase for auction i'm gonna put it down keep looking and see what else we can
28:09find very wise and i'm shocked hetty is checking out more glass goodbye comfort zone i'm looking at
28:22silver again normal service is resumed now this is quite a sweet little wine label now the use of wine
28:30labels came about so circa 1730 and this was because you would have stored your wine your alcohol
28:36in decanters now this particular example it's very much in the victorian style but the hallmark's
28:42telling me it's not victorian it's actually 20th century but what i really like about this is the
28:46fact that it's got the edinburgh assay mark now scottish silver is quite collectible it's in quite nice
28:52condition it has sherry on it now the most popular kind of wine labels have quite unusual alcohol names on
28:59them so sherry is really not an uncommon one to find now looking at the price tag it is only 15
29:06pounds which is not a bad price for it i think it should make a bit more than 15 pounds at auction
29:11i'm gonna buy it don't forget that glass
29:19hello phil good afternoon i found a couple of things i like i think this is very sculptural it's 25 pounds and
29:26then also this lovely little wine label you've got 15 on that one yes if i were to buy both of them
29:32there's nothing you could do on the price together they're 40 um 30 do you would you take 25
29:41meet you halfway 28 28 okay that's very fair i'll shake your hand at 28. so that's eight pounds for the
29:48wine label and 20 for the art glass and 65 left unspent um six seven eight 28 thank you so much
29:57and uh have a lovely day thank you now how's ishi's scour going got some coins holding
30:05that scale look how heavy they are the scales
30:09immediately drawn to the big gold coin and it's a 10 000 mark so 1923 a german coin
30:17during this time there was a period of mass inflation so the currency really devalued
30:22it's a nice large coin and quite unusual to see something that's in this denomination
30:27let's take a look at the silver coins this is zwiemark so two marks and this is dated to 1913
30:35we've got the king amongst his cavalry i believe that this coin commemorates 100 years since prussia
30:42entered the war against napoleon so 1813 this coin here we've got deutsch's roich dated 1901 so we've
30:49got coins that are over 100 years old another zwiemark we've got the crested eagle here i know
30:55that these coins can fetch a lot of money at auction if they're the right style right condition and the
30:59right dates they're not marked up with a ticket price so i think let's go downstairs talk to phil
31:05he's ready and waiting with loins suitably girded phil how are you hi yes good good to see you
31:13found some treasures in here first is this lovely brass agate bookmark yep that's got a ticket price
31:19of 12 pounds right and then there's these three german coins they don't have a ticket price just
31:25i don't even know if they're going to be in budget could i ask how much they are uh for the three it's
31:2960 pounds 60 pounds perfect that's 72 so far i did see a necklace box with a rhinestone necklace in it
31:37oh yeah yeah yeah it's marked for 15 pounds i'd do that for 10. could we settle on 80 for all three items
31:43yes for sure splendid so that's 60 for the coins and 10 each for the bookmark and the necklace with
31:51box i'm gonna go get the necklace it's been a pleasure all the best great to see take care
31:56which means ishi has spent all of his 200 pound budget well done well petty all done i know did
32:04you get good stuff i i'm happy but i mean there's no second chances now this is it i know no going back
32:09and who would want to some smashing finds there you two back on the road there's some reminiscing
32:18in a very antique expert kind of way if we're doing a catalogue entry i would describe this road
32:23trip as a 21st century adventure in a 20th century classic car with two 20th century experts trying
32:33their best some damage along the way what would you spell an estimate of us oh uh we're gonna be in
32:39the millions ishi absolutely priceless that you are chaps now time for some shut-eye
32:49well the big day is here will it be five in a row for hetty or can ishi finally bag a victory

33:17room online and on the phones and gavel bashing today is veteran auctioneer bernie neal
33:24any chance of a beverage ishi blew the entirety of his 200 pound budget on six items
33:32any highlights for you bernie there's a good selection of victorian collar studs
33:36with a nice little box there that should do well just for the gold content alone
33:41hetty only shelled out 135 pounds on her five lots any faves i like the victorian white metal bangle
33:50it's nice foliage decoration to the exterior that should do well at auction
33:54fingers crossed then and the bidders are in it's auction time here we go again

36:19room for a profit there yeah i say we as if like we're a team we're in for a profit here 20 pounds start me

36:48issues early 20th century german coins be on the money it's 60 pounds i'm a row touristy as well
36:55you don't normally buy coins do you we can start the bidding at 40 pounds still not 60. it's a good

37:34piece of glass it's so sculptural so cool 15 pounds for it oh dear 15 i have truly worth more people at
37:4115 pounds that's really cheap though 15 pounds you're selling away at 15 then not having a very good day
37:47today is she she's not wrong but think positive glass half full i think maybe i probably paid what
37:53it was worth but i was taking a bit of a punt there i just thought it was particularly pretty
37:58moving on will bidders stand on ceremony for issues spear this was a bit of a rogue mind yeah how much
38:0620. okay i don't know i like the fact that you don't know that's cool we could go for anything yeah
38:1140 pounds somebody anybody that would be nice 30 pounds for it then crawley 20 pounds and if not
38:19i'm probably going to keep that at myself what's going on 15 finally got a bid at 15 pounds there's
38:24a reason why i don't buy these normally are you gonna buy another one no i won't 15 only bid then we
38:30sell at 15 only it was worth a punt well someone's got a bug in there secretly i was hoping it would
38:37be an awesome win time for hetty's giant bowl will it punch above its already hefty weight
38:46is she i'm so worried about my next lot no don't be worried a chinese punch bowl yeah i think i've
38:51paid too much money for it this is lovely isn't it it is lovely 60 pounds a low start surely it's time
38:57about 50 pounds somebody 40 pounds for it thank you sir i was worried it was going to be less than that so
39:03where's all the hands at 40 pound bid i only made a bit of 40 pound then your bid sir there's no
39:09further interest i will put the hammer down at just 40 pounds packed a mild punch there was no punch
39:17there is she oh dear the bidders were not bowled over i feel really sad come on it's not that much of a
39:25loss now let's hope bidders think outside the box for issues next lot so it's more the box that
39:31you're really like the box but it came with the necklace i paid 10 pounds okay it should be a no
39:36brainer yeah i've got 25 pounds and i bring bid at 25 bid at 30 pound bid that's really good any advance
39:44on the bling there at 35. what's going on 40 pound bid at 42 45 bid you look so surprised any advance
39:53on 45 pounds fair warning then at 45 sold that's a really good profit marvelous things are hotting up
40:03now i'm actually quite surprised i mean i'm happy with the profit i thought it might make 20 25. that's
40:09really good oh wow moving on it's our auctioneer's favorite of hetty's lot but will the bidders like
40:16it i've made a very hetty purchase silver victorian bangle beautifully decorated 32 pounds which on a
40:25good day there should be a profit fingers crossed yeah i start the bidding at just 25 pounds i'd take
40:3128 now at 25 bid anymore oh cheap at 25 anymore last chance of 25 then that is really a shame i'm
40:39quite sad about that one well that was a slap on the wrist bad luck actually that should have been
40:45about 50 really that's a hundred pound bangle all day long yeah ready it's the final lot will issues
40:53mining for gold pay off so this should get at least 40 pounds if it doesn't i don't know what's going on
41:00i'm worried about you buying gold you're doing well with gold don't be worried you you've smashed
41:04this let me have one internet's climbing up to 55 65 pounds his bid any advance on 65 pounds all
41:13done and finished at 65 is selling away then buttoned up a nice profit i love your joke i'm gonna miss
41:20your joke you're not you're really not was that enough to secure a victory for ishi there were some
41:27profits and losses i'm not sure who's got this one i think you've won this one is she let's go have
41:31a look with everything totted up the final scores are in it was not hetty's day today she began with
41:39200 pounds and after cell room costs she made a loss of 63 pounds and 11 pence so hard luck hetty
41:48so finally ishi catapulted himself to victory he started with the same amount and after auction fees
41:54made a smaller loss of 19 pounds and 97 pence good work old chump
42:02so it's 4-1 to hetty but what a way to end for ishi well done you two
42:10oh i'm so happy hetty i mean you won overall but i'm happy to take this small win that was
