00:00It has been a sight to behold here in Ohio as this winter storm grips over the Buckeye State
00:06dropping anywhere from 10 to upwards of 14 inches of snow. Now here in Franklin County, Ohio where
00:13the capital city resides the first ever level three snow emergency was issued and what that
00:19means is that if you are not emergency personnel or essential workers such as snowplows you are to
00:25not be on the streets. Meanwhile across every major metro area in the state dozens upon dozens of
00:31vehicles litter the streets stuck in this really deep snowpack. If you name it the vehicle has been
00:38stuck. COTA buses, semis, regular vehicles and even police officers have found themselves stuck in this
00:46deep snowpack. But to those who stayed home and enjoyed their day a lot of folks are taking this
00:52opportunity as something positive to enjoy sights that they've never seen before. I'm actually a
00:57student here I'm a junior and I am originally from LA so I haven't seen snow at all so this is my first
01:01experience really besides the snow that came earlier in the year so this is incredible man this is a
01:05winter wonderland we're enjoying you know the nice plow and just getting some backyard football and even
01:10I didn't realize how much snow was actually going to come down but I just love how the community comes
01:13together and there's a lot of grit here and you know we're fine through all this snow and just having
01:17a good time and everybody's you know out and about still and just doing their day-to-day tasks so I love
01:21it. Playing some backyard football and you know this is exactly what I was talking about with the
01:25grit we got some guy just you know skiing by. And as this winter storm continues it is not over just
01:32yet but there is still a potential for two to four more inches of snowfall to fall here in the Buckeye
01:39state before all is said and done and crews can really get to work opening those major arteries and
01:44eventually working themselves into these side streets where so many vehicles have been stranded and in
01:50other cases left behind while others take to the streets and walk to work. We're going to be
01:55covering it all weekend here at AccuWeather. I'm Aaron Rigsby.
