00:00You know, one of my favorite quarterbacks in pro football is Baker Mayfield.
00:04The man that has a mouth on his fist.
00:08This guy's got an attitude, man, and I dig the way this guy plays.
00:12I'm sorry.
00:13You know, maybe that's my Miami Hurricane background in me, bud.
00:17So there was a tweet that was thrown out by a sports writer in Atlanta.
00:22And I don't believe that it was any kind of real shade on Baker Mayfield.
00:30But it was thrown out by a writer for the newspaper there in Atlanta.
00:35And he was talking about the quarterback situation there with Deshaun Watson.
00:39He was talking about Baker Mayfield.
00:41And then the avalanche of quarterbacks that Kevin Stefanski had to deal with.
00:48Now, Kevin Stefanski obviously was just named the head football coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
00:52And Baker Mayfield has a little Michael Jordan in him.
00:56So anytime you hear people do this, pal or sugar britches or chief or whatever, and the context of it wasn't really aimed at Baker Mayfield.
01:12And it was about failure.
01:14So Baker picked that log up and threw some fire and threw that log on the fire and said this.
01:20He goes, failure?
01:22Okay.
01:23Well, Kevin Stefanski, so he aimed this tweet that really wasn't aimed at him.
01:29And he's made it now a rivalry and a bigger rivalry with the Atlanta Falcons by doing this.
01:37I can't wait to see you.
01:38And I'm paraphrasing here.
01:39I can't wait to see you twice a year now.
01:42You threw me away like garbage.
01:44And, by the way, I'm paraphrasing, as I said, I don't think the word garbage was really what was on his mind.
01:52Remember, he spent two years in Cleveland with Kevin Stefanski.
01:56And they actually went to a playoff game together.
01:59But, obviously, that relationship, you know, there was talk.
02:02The Buccaneers were thinking of having Kevin Stefanski as the offensive coordinator in Tampa.
02:07And they ended up landing on Zach Robinson.
02:09Kevin Stefanski was not going to be the offensive coordinator if he didn't get that head coaching job in Atlanta, in Tampa Bay.
02:18Because that relationship there was not very good.
02:21Well, now you have rivalry.
02:25And I can't wait to see this.
02:26This is what the NFL needs.
02:28The National Football League needs more of this.
02:32They need to have more of these personalities.
02:36One of the things that I like about Baker Mayfield,
02:39here's a guy that, what, he walked on at Texas Tech.
02:42Then he had to walk on at Oklahoma.
02:46He ends up winning the Heisman Trophy.
02:48He ends up being the number one overall draft choice.
02:51And he's made himself into what?
02:54An underdog.
02:55You know, remember something, too.
02:57He made a comment about David Tepper and the Carolina Panthers.
03:00When somebody asked him at a press conference earlier in the year,
03:03how was your, because they, Seattle, I remember when Tampa Bay went up to Seattle,
03:08there was a game between both teams.
03:10Actually, the Buccaneers went up there and went up there.
03:12And somebody asked him what his time was like in Carolina.
03:15Do you and Sam Darnold get a chance to have conversations on what your time was like
03:20and how great your experience was?
03:22He went, yeah, no.
03:24It was not.
03:25Remember what they did with him in Carolina.
03:26They used him as a stand-up, him and Darnold,
03:29as scout team defensive ends on the look team.
03:33And they were playing scout team defensive ends.
03:36This guy is a dude that I dig because he makes these little fires.
03:42And this is what motivates people.
03:44Michael Jordan did this stuff all the time.
03:47Even if it wasn't true, Michael Jordan would make stories up,
03:52hey, this guy thinks he's better than me.
03:54That guy thinks he's, this is exactly what motivates Baker Mayfield.
03:58Look, I root for the guy.
04:00I think the guy has been one of the best things in the renaissance of what we're seeing in Tampa Bay.
04:05Look at what the Buccaneers have been able to do with him.
04:07I mean, you go from Dave Canales, the now head coach of the Carolina Panthers,
04:11then you shift it into Liam Cohn.
04:13Both those guys ended up getting jobs.
04:15Well, at the end of the day, Baker Mayfield had a lot to do with those dudes getting those games.
04:20And Tampa Bay has kind of recreated what people thought they were going to see in Cleveland.
04:27I'll throw this out to Jimmy Haslam here.
04:30Hey, Jimmy Haslam, the owner of the Cleveland Browns,
04:33after that nightmare contract that you gave Deshaun Watson,
04:38how would you like to have that mulligan back on getting rid of Baker Mayfield?
04:44You think you'd like to have that mulligan back?
04:47This shows you folks not having patience in an organization.
04:52The same thing that you saw what went on in the New York Jets with Sam Darnold.
04:58Organizations fail quarterbacks more than quarterbacks fail the organizations.
05:05wanted to know who the Lord is trying to become a victim who lived in the Nearby in
05:06of the NBA for the years.
05:11Let's look at the mayor.
05:22Use for a large majority of people who lived in...
05:25And move.
05:29That we have that vehicle could not get rid of the Beschitter.
05:32May still.
