02:11Felix Trinidad, who turns 22 in exactly four weeks, continues to receive rave reviews for his performances in the ring.
02:18Many who followed his impressive career are starting to believe he is a significant presence on the world stage of boxing,
02:24combining explosive punching power with cat-like witness plus great heart.
02:28We saw a true illustration of that heart when he bounced back from a second-round knockdown to KO Yuriboy Compass in the fourth round of his last fight.
02:36In a way, over-car can relate to Trinidad's early success.
02:40Carr started his career like a bullet, turning pro at 17.
02:42Very active early on, 24 fights in his first 27 months, 10 KOs in his first 12 fights.
02:49He was put in with some rugged and stiff veterans early on and received quite an education.
02:54But then Carr leveled off.
02:55Perhaps it was overexposure, reading too many press clippings, or being too preoccupied with a title shot.
03:02Frustrated, Carr lost focus.
03:03And now he feels he's back in sync and ready for his first title shot, a title shot that he feels is long overdue.
03:10Carr knows what it's like to be in the spotlight early, but now it's Trinidad who's the star and the champion.
03:15And Bernie, why was it that Trinidad reached the world championships before Carr, do you think?
03:20Simply because his management team seized the moment.
03:23While Carr was tap-dancing around, changing managers, and couldn't decide whether to fight blocker,
03:27no problem with Trinidad, guys.
03:29They said, I'll go, and Trinidad went in.
03:31I think the difference is, in these two fighters, one's consistent and one is inconsistent.
03:37Does Trinidad have the edge because of all the championship experience?
03:40He's got the edge because he performs consistently to the best of his ability.
03:44Over Carr sometimes does and sometimes doesn't.
03:47In a challenge between those two, I'll take the guy that consistently does his best over an in-and-out fighter.

03:59Well, Trinidad's the taller of the two.
04:00He's kind of a classic come-forward boxer puncher with a little more of the emphasis on puncher.

04:14They're both in a tremendous position right now.

04:18I think this has the makings.
04:20They're both on the money of one of the fights of the year.
04:22Do these styles make for a KO fight or a distance fight?
04:26I think the form that this fight's going to take shape in is going to be in that of Over Carr.
04:29What he does will dictate how this fight goes.
04:31I think if he comes forward and he's pressing, I think this fight's going to end in a late-round knockout either way, depending on who's on their game.
04:38Conversely, his car decides to be outside smarter to try that trickster stuff that he's known for in his speed.
04:43This could be a decision fight again either way, depending on who is on their game.
04:47All right, Bobby, let's take our first look at the Challenger, Over Carr, a product of the Motor City, Detroit, Michigan.
04:53The 22-year-old Carr undefeated, 32-0, 20 knockouts, rated number two by the IVF, number four by the WBA, following the fast start of Korea.
05:01That tailspin, one of boxing's hottest rising stars, suddenly found himself stuck in neutral, but in 32 fights, he's been in danger only once.
05:10He had to come off the canvas twice in the first to out point Livingstone Bramble in 91.
05:14Tonight is unquestionably the biggest test in this young man's career.

15:57Once again, his speed, Obracar said, he saw in the Anthony Stevens fight, which is when he was down also, same punch.
16:03So that the speed gets to him, he's open, but this man gets up and fights like a demon.
16:08I mean, I've never seen a guy go down and get up so clear-headed.

16:17Obracar said he was getting shocked us. He certainly did this.

16:26So here in round two and early in round two, Obracar sending Trinidad to the Kensal.
16:33And we all know what happened to the last fight. Trinidad came back to stop knockout artist, Yuri Boyd Kompas in round four.
16:41And he was undefeated at the time also.
16:43Yeah, he was 56-0 at 50 knockouts.
16:45We know that records mean nothing to Felix Trinidad.
16:49But something that Carr has that Yuri Boyd Kompas did not have is an excellent defense and great speed.
16:55Do some fighters, Bobby, just need a wake-up call to get their juices going?
16:58Well, I'll tell you what, there are fighters who've had a history of that, and I don't think you need a wake-up call for Trinidad, but sometimes he gets one anyway.
17:06That's a dangerous way to operate stuff.
17:09He was kind of like Floyd Patterson. He always was down to begin with, and then he's come back to beat you to death.
