00:25Tumaas mula 13,602 hanggang 49,431 ang risky URLs sa loob lamang ng isang taon.
00:33Ano po yung pangunahing dahilan ng halos apat na beses na pagtaas na ito?

02:02and sasabihin po sa atin ni Who's Call kung ito po ba ay safe or ito po ba ay isang scam.
02:08So, yan po yung ano, no. So, ang Who's Call po, we are a Taiwanese company
02:13and we do have our operations very heavy within greater Southeast Asia
02:18and we also have operations outside of Southeast Asia.
02:21So, the data na nire-report po, kasi sa Who's Call po, merong reporting facility,
02:26so, nire-report po doon mga numbers, URLs, domain ng mga users.
02:34Ito pong mga data na ito, tinaturn over natin ito sa CICC para po sa kanilang investigation.
02:40Ngayon, tama po yan, halos four times po ang increase ng mga risky URLs.

03:55So, kaya, yung sa risky URLs, nakikita natin tuloy-tuloy ang pag-increase po nito.
04:01So, and up to this year, marami pa rin po, we are seeing a massive proliferation of scams pa din sa social media.
04:11So, social media scams.
04:13So, ito po yung mga phishing scams na ang main distribution channel, online na po sila, ma'am.
04:18Ms. Mela, bangit nyo nga po na kaya mas pinipili ngayon ng karamihan o ng mga scammer yung phishing links at malicious URLs
04:25kasi nga online transactions na ang kalimitan ginagamit ng publiko
04:29despite na nakakatanggap pa rin tayo ng mga scam calls and text messages.

04:37Ano po ba itong ginagawa nitong mga phishing links?
04:40Ano po yung mga hinihingi nitong malicious URLs?

05:16Ano po yung mga klase na mga scams na to?
05:19Okay. When we did our analysis, doon sa risk URL,
05:23ah, ang number one po na klase ng scam na talagang, I would say, highly appealing, no?
05:30Or parang highly enticing, no?
05:32Sa mga Pilipino would be the loan and reward scam.
05:37So, ito po yung inooferan po tayo nung mga nagpapanggap na mga digital lending institutions
05:44o mga taong nagpapanggap na mga licensed digital lender, no?
05:49So, basically, ito yan.
05:51So, yung mga loan-related scams and yung mga reward scams, gustong-gusto po natin yan.
05:55Kapag nakakatanggap tayo, tapos sinasabi sa atin na yung mga rewards related na,
06:01oh, nanalo ka, ganyan, di ba?
06:03So, i-claim mo yung price.
06:05Tapos, i-click mo tong link na to.
06:06So, pag-click po yung link na yun, dalawa po yung posibleng mangyari dyan.
06:12Posible po, pag-click natin yung link, meron na pong payload na magra-run.
06:16So, basically, ibig sabihin na may malware na po na magra-run
06:19na pwede na pong ma-compromise yung pong cellphone po natin o yung mobile phone.
06:25Pwede naman po, pag-click niya yung link, pupunta po kayo sa isang webpage.
06:29Tapos, doon sa webpage na yun, ihingin po yung personal data ninyo.
06:32So, di ba, yung name po ninyo, yung posibleng po yung mobile number.
06:38Kung kayo po ay, let's say, merong kinakailangang bayaran, processing fee,
06:43para makuha nyo po yung award nyo, yung reward nyo, o processing fee,
06:48para po i-process nung peking lending institution, yung pong loan na gusto nyong i-avail.
06:54So, possibly po na sasabihin sa inyo na bigay mo yung Gcash number mo,
06:59or example lang to, or kahit anong e-wallet, tapos pag may OTP ka, ipadala mo sa akin.

07:37diyan nagkakaroon ng travel scams.
