00:00In just over one month, the newly merged Adelaide University opens to students.
00:07But some say they're facing red lights trying to enrol.
00:11Well the enrolment hubs have opened today and so far I have no idea what I'm actually supposed to be studying
00:18and I've tried about every avenue so I'd love some answers.
00:21Students who work full time and study online are also frustrated by how long it's taking them to navigate the new systems.
00:28The way that we access our topics is now very different, the way that we enrol in our topics is different
00:33and that support's not been available.
00:35Others say they've had their courses scrapped altogether and haven't received help to transfer degrees.
00:40I've emailed, I've gone into the hub already and they've told me that every time that I contact them
00:46they push me to the bottom of the list.
00:48It's not just students who are concerned.
00:50The National Tertiary Education Union says university staff are also feeling burnt out
00:55and are not happy with how information has been communicated.
00:59There will no doubt be more lumps and bumps that we have to encounter.
01:02Our focus at the moment is very heavily on students and particularly on enrolment.
01:09The university says support for students is available over the phone, online and at on-campus enrolment hubs.
01:15As for Ben, how did you go?
01:17I've been promised an internal escalation which I have been promised before.
01:22So as of right now I still have no study plan and no guarantees of enrolment.
01:27The engineering student hopes it will be sorted before the semester starts next month.
