Growing calls for Chancellor of one of Australia’s top universities to step down

At the end of another turbulent week, the chancellor of the Australian National University continues to stand firm amid ongoing calls that she should stand down. Meanwhile, an interim senate committee report examining governance of Australian higher education providers has been released.

00:14to stand aside, but she sees no reason to leave.

00:39It was Dr Liz Allen's public evidence in a Senate committee hearing that turned rumblings

00:42about the Chancellor's leadership into open calls for her to go.

00:53of time because I thought it would be inappropriate.

00:56And more importantly, stifling to my own freedoms to have it vetted in any way by any political
