00:00Hello MCU fans! Today is going to be my breakdown and review of Spider-Man 94 issue number 5.
00:06The final battle with Spider-Man and Kraven taking on Morlin and the mutated Kane.
00:11Now of course, this is a continuation of the beloved 90s Spider-Man the Animated Series.
00:16And there will be spoilers for the comic, but as long as you're okay with that, then let's dive right in and see what we can find out.
00:22Don't forget, we have a January contest running all month long.
00:24Be a subscriber, leave a comment. You could win a book or a steelbook. Best of luck.
00:28We also have a membership option with lots of cool perks, so you might check it out.
00:31Plus, hang around until the end of the video, and I'll talk about the Doomsday Countdown rewatch on the Discord.
00:37Alright, so we're looking at the fifth and final issue of Spider-Man 94.
00:41It's also worth noting there have been, once again, several variant covers that are awesome.
00:45This one with an action figure of Chameleon.
00:47This one with Spider-Man taking on the Hobgoblin.
00:50And we have Scorpion from the Animated Series.
00:53In fact, there's a theme with these variant covers.
00:55We have five covers that do the different action figures.
00:59Honestly, these became some of my favorites. I love those covers.
01:02Then we have five that are legendary 90s Spider-Man artist variants.
01:07And you can read for yourself who those different artists are,
01:09but I gotta say, I really do love the Spider-Man vs. Hobgoblin.
01:12That's probably my favorite of this series.
01:14And, of course, there's the images from Spider-Man, the Animated Series.
01:17Probably my favorite has got to be Spider-Man over on the far left, right?
01:20Gotta love Spidey.
01:21All right, time for a quick synopsis of the last issue.
01:25Revealed to be an immortal from a long extinct race,
01:28Morland must sustain himself on the life force of powerful beings to maintain his immortality.
01:33After exhausting the photocopied lives of his clone assistant, Kane,
01:37Morland set his sights on bigger game, the radioactive Spider-Man.
01:41Meanwhile, Spider-Man and Kraven the Hunter have combined their efforts
01:44to bring Morland down whatever it takes.
01:47But after a final Kane clone was slain by Morland,
01:50the body of Kane has reconstituted itself into some new Carrion being.
01:56And I admit, as soon as I saw the word Carrion, I immediately thought of, well, Carrion, right?
02:00This dude was awesome back in the day.
02:03And, in fact, this title,
02:04Carry On My Wayward Son, is a play on a famous Kansas song.
02:07Absolutely love it.
02:08But, all right, on to the main event.
02:11Chapter 5, Resurrection.
02:13All right, so we start with Spider-Man assessing the situation,
02:16Kraven the Hunter's out cold, his companion, Goliadkin, is dead,
02:20I'm so battered I can hardly stand, and it's all Morland's doing.
02:24He's been so arrogant, so certain of his victory.
02:27But it only takes a moment for the world to shift beneath our feet.
02:31And sometimes that shifting can be a terrible thing.
02:34Now, the reason I broke this out like this is then we see the panel
02:38where Spider-Man's discussing all of this,
02:40and notice, Kraven the Hunter's out cold?
02:43Not really.
02:44He's kind of standing right there.
02:46So, small mistake, but I had to point it out.
02:49That is kind of funny.
02:50But, anyway, we have Kane saying,
02:52You claim to serve the world,
02:53but all you truly serve, Father, is your own ego.
02:56Your own ravenous hunger for power.
02:59You're a fraud.
03:00A walking lie.
03:01Then Spider-Man thinks,
03:03I watched Morland murder his clone, Kane,
03:05without a twinge of regret.
03:07But now, Kane has somehow resurrected himself.
03:10The question is, as what?
03:14This is impossible, says Morland.
03:16The fear in your eyes, says Kane,
03:17is delicious, Father.
03:19I can't wait to devour it.
03:22And your immortal soul along with it.
03:24And then Spider-Man thinks,
03:26That thing isn't Kane.
03:27It doesn't even seem human.
03:28But whatever it is,
03:30whatever it's become,
03:31I have to stop it.
03:33So he goes into battle against Kane.
03:35After all my father has done, says Kane,
03:37All he's put you through, you protect him?
03:41And Spider-Man says,
03:42If you look in the superhero handbook,
03:43page 23, paragraph 11,
03:45it says very clearly that killing,
03:47even if it's a bad guy who's made your life miserable,
03:50is absolutely forbidden.
03:52I love Spider-Man, right?
03:53He gives Captain America a run for his money
03:55on being a Boy Scout.
03:56But man, protecting Morland?
03:58I don't know.
03:58We'll see how this goes, right?
04:00Anyway,
04:00You are not my enemy, Parker,
04:03says Kane.
04:04But don't get in my way.
04:06And just bats him across the room.
04:08I mean, how do you fight this thing, right?
04:11So much power now,
04:12flooding into every iota of my being.
04:15You see, Father, what you've done?
04:17After all these years of death and rebirth at your hands,
04:20my cellular structure has been forced to evolve.
04:23And I'm...
04:24And then he pauses.
04:25But why?
04:26Well, because Kraven the Hunter
04:28just jabbed him in the back, right?
04:29Hunter, if you think a single spear thrust can stop me,
04:33then you have no idea what I've become.
04:36And then Spider-Man thinks,
04:37he's trying to sound certain, confident,
04:39but I can hear the confusion in his voice.
04:42Yes, Kane's evolving,
04:43but I don't think even he knows what he's evolving into.
04:47He's just...
04:48Wait a minute.
04:49Where did Morland go?
04:50Yeah, dude is heading out while they're fighting Kane, right?
04:53He says,
04:54Kane's transformation was unexpected
04:55and could prove an impediment to my agenda.
04:58I hadn't planned on unleashing Project Loka just yet,
05:01but this turn of events has forced my hand.
05:04There will be time to absorb the spider totem later.
05:07For now, let Parker and Kane waste precious time
05:10waging war upon each other
05:12while I make my way to the Sims Foundation's upstate complex
05:15and initiate the plan that will transform this entire planet.
05:20Oh my, now we find out what Morland's master plan is.
05:24He says,
05:25The puppets I've manipulated so easily,
05:27mayors, governors, senators,
05:29believe that Loka is the next step
05:31in providing sustainable energy to the world,
05:33but that's just the fairy tale I fed them.
05:36What Loka truly is,
05:38is hope,
05:38a miraculous redemption
05:40for a heretofore irredeemable species.
05:42I've fused the technology of my ancient people
05:45with the technology of modern man
05:47and with the simple touch of a hand,
05:50I will unleash Loka on the world.
05:52Blanketing the earth in bioenergetic sound waves
05:55that will vibrate through flesh and blood and bone,
05:58transmuting the very DNA of every man, woman,
06:01and child on the planet.
06:03Weeding out humanity's deprived and barbarous tendencies,
06:06remolding, remaking the entire species,
06:09transfiguring the planet.
06:11Of course, not everyone will survive the transformation,
06:15but there's always a price to pay for Utopia.
06:18Those that do survive
06:20will become obedient citizens of new Loka,
06:22and they will inherit a world without suffering,
06:24without cruelty or want,
06:26without death itself.
06:28A world that only Morland is fit to rule.
06:31Once long ago, I was a prince.
06:34Now, I will be a king.
06:36And even if I have to feast
06:37on the life energy of thousands,
06:39millions,
06:40I will keep on ruling into eternity.
06:44So it's time, at last,
06:46to leave this age of ignorance and violence behind
06:49and bring forth paradise.
06:52Okay, so I gotta ask,
06:53if Spider-Man knew that this was Morland's ultimate plan,
06:57would he still be protecting him?
06:58Unfortunately, we'll never get that answer
07:00because he's not gonna learn
07:01what Morland's full plan would have been,
07:03but interesting question.
07:04So yeah, leave in the comments
07:06if you think Spider-Man might have had
07:07a slightly different opinion of the situation
07:09if he knew this was Morland's master plan.
07:11Anyway, we now have Craven saying,
07:13I thought Morland would be my final prey,
07:16the object of my last hunt.
07:18But fate has delivered you instead.
07:22Because remember,
07:22Craven had just jabbed Cain through the chest
07:24with his giant spear.
07:26Then he shouts,
07:27and a fine beast you are,
07:29a fine challenge for the greatest hunter
07:31the world has ever.
07:32Oh man, you know this isn't gonna go well for Craven, right?
07:35Cain grabs him and says,
07:37you are nothing, Craven, but a fool.
07:40I have no time for these pathetic games,
07:42for your feeble attempts,
07:44and then he slams him into the ground.
07:47Man.
07:48And then he says,
07:49to prove your questionable manhood.
07:51Oh man, that has got to hurt.
07:54I have no time for you to prove
07:57your questionable manhood.
07:59Ouch.
08:00Anyway, Craven says,
08:01do it, kill me.
08:02Without my Mariah,
08:04I have nothing to live for.
08:07And Cain's credit,
08:08he stops and ponders
08:10about what he's about to do.
08:12And then he decides,
08:13since my metamorphosis began,
08:15my psyche has become entwined
08:18with the mind of others.
08:19And what I see in your mind,
08:21your heart,
08:22is loss, pain,
08:23and a love that burns so bright
08:25it nearly blinds me.
08:26You beg for death, Cravenoff,
08:28but the fact that you ever knew such love
08:31should be reason enough
08:32to go on living.
08:35Oh man, look at poor Craven, right?
08:37And then we see that Craven cries out,
08:39in fact, is literally crying,
08:41as he says,
08:42Mariah,
08:43I'm sorry.
08:45Man, poor Craven.
08:47Remember, Mariah died,
08:48we learned in the last issue,
08:49and he's basically given up
08:50his will to live.
08:52Man, oh man, oh man.
08:53That's rough, that's rough.
08:55But the question now is,
08:56can anyone halt Moreland
08:57before it's too late?
08:59So he books it into his helicopter,
09:01gets it started up,
09:02and heads off into the sky.
09:04But luckily we hear Cain saying,
09:06no father,
09:07not just yet.
09:10Moreland is of course bragging yet again,
09:12you may have evolved Cain,
09:13but you have a long way to go
09:15before you equal me.
09:17And Cain's like,
09:18equal you?
09:20Oh no, no,
09:20I have transcended you.
09:22And he atomizes the helicopter.
09:24Oh, that's just epic.
09:26I love it.
09:27Then we see Moreland,
09:28who is seemingly falling to his death,
09:30but then Spider-Man decides to help him.
09:33Hang on, Moreland, he says.
09:34I've got you.
09:36Man, again,
09:37would Spider-Man be doing this
09:39if he knew what Moreland's plans were?
09:41Well, regardless,
09:42Moreland says,
09:43again,
09:43you risked your life
09:44attempting to save me.
09:45What game are you playing, Spider?
09:48And he says,
09:49you really don't understand, do you?
09:51How can you have lived
09:51for thousands of years
09:53and still not know
09:54what it is to be human?
09:56You think I'm something mysterious,
09:58something strange and unique,
09:59but I'm not a totem.
10:01I'm just a man.
10:02And anything that's good in me
10:04comes from my humanity.
10:07I love that look on Moreland's face,
10:09realizing maybe I've been wrong
10:11about all of this.
10:12Yeah, yeah, dude,
10:13totally wrong.
10:14Anyway, Cain says,
10:16you're wasting your breath, Parker.
10:17It should be clear by now
10:18that despite his flowery words
10:20about redeeming the world,
10:22Moreland despises humanity.
10:24He doesn't want to uplift your kind.
10:26He wants to break it,
10:27subjugate it.
10:28And your solution is murdering him,
10:30says Spider-Man?
10:32Moreland's evil must be erased,
10:34says Cain.
10:34Please don't stand in my way.
10:37But I have no choice,
10:38thinks Spider-Man.
10:39And that's kind of fun.
10:40We get a little Venom cameo,
10:42if you will,
10:42as Cain makes his image
10:44look like Venom.
10:45But anyway,
10:46Spider-Man thinks,
10:47whatever Moreland's done,
10:48whatever terrible things
10:49he has planned for the human race,
10:51I just can't stand here
10:53and let Cain kill him.
10:56But he's changed so much
10:57since the last time we fought.
10:59There's a kind of energy field
11:01around him now.
11:02And every punch I land
11:04seems to make him stronger
11:05and me weaker.
11:08Then Cain says,
11:09I admire your tenacity, Parker,
11:11however misplaced it is.
11:13I could end your life here and now.
11:14But where is the value in that?
11:17No, I want you to see
11:18I'm not the monster like my father.
11:20I want you to understand.
11:23And Spidey thinks,
11:24I feel his mind like a pile driver
11:26plowing into mine.
11:28Fragments of memory,
11:29splinters of thought and feeling
11:31cutting through me
11:32like shards of glass.
11:34The cloning process
11:35that birthed Cain from Moreland's cells.
11:37The constant cycle of death and rebirth.
11:40His desperate craving for revenge.
11:42But if I can live his history,
11:44then perhaps he can live mine.
11:46And so I push back
11:48against the psychic onslaught.
11:50And I open the book of my life,
11:52losing my parents,
11:53being raised by Aunt May and Uncle Ben,
11:55the twist of fate that made me Spider-Man,
11:57and the youthful arrogance
11:59that cost my uncle his life.
12:01Look, Cain, I say,
12:03this is what it is to be human.
12:05We're all confused, flawed.
12:07We all make terrible mistakes.
12:10But we don't give up.
12:12We keep struggling to do the right thing,
12:14to be decent, compassionate,
12:15to help people.
12:16And yes, we may fail.
12:18We may fall again and again.
12:20But we pick ourselves up.
12:23And we keep trying.
12:25And Cain, who's now processing all of this,
12:28says, thank you, Parker,
12:29for sharing your heart with me.
12:31And through that sharing,
12:33illuminating the way forward.
12:34Cain, I'm begging you,
12:36don't do this.
12:38You don't understand, Parker,
12:39says Cain.
12:41But you do.
12:43Don't you, Morlin?
12:45Yes, says Morlin.
12:46You've been evolving all this time,
12:49beyond me.
12:49And the son has finally outstripped the father.
12:53All these centuries, Cain,
12:55like a mountain on my back,
12:56crushing me.
12:57And I'm so very tired.
12:59But now, at last.
13:01And then his words trail off
13:03as Cain looks down at him,
13:05reaches out his hand,
13:06and Morlin reaches up his.
13:09And then Morlin simply ceases to be.
13:14So Spider-Man is very frustrated.
13:16Why, Cain?
13:17Why did you have to kill him?
13:20I haven't killed him, responds Cain.
13:23You showed me the futility of that.
13:25Then what, he asks.
13:27Cain responds,
13:28I was born of my father.
13:29And then we see Cain transforming.
13:32And he says,
13:33And now my father lives within me.
13:36Morlin and I have become one.
13:39There will be no more feeding on totems
13:42to procure immortality.
13:43I will live on as Morlin,
13:45as Ezekiel Sims,
13:47continuing the work of the foundation,
13:49doing what I,
13:50what we,
13:51can do to better the world,
13:52without manipulating or abusing humankind.
13:55And eventually,
13:57like any mortal,
13:58we will die.
14:00And when at last we take our leave of this world,
14:02we hope others will consider the life we've lived,
14:05the sacrifices we've made,
14:07and perhaps think,
14:09we were half the man you are.
14:12And then Morlin slash Cain
14:14simply walks away.
14:16But he has one last parting thought for Spider-Man,
14:19as he says,
14:20Send Mary Jane my love,
14:21and treasure her always.
14:24Hmm.
14:24That's a really beautiful ending for Morlin slash Cain.
14:27Although,
14:28I still wanted to see Morlin get his butt kicked
14:30a little bit more.
14:31I don't like that dude.
14:32And in fact,
14:33it's going to be interesting to see,
14:34remember we learned in the last issue,
14:36that he was bragging,
14:37as Ezekiel Sims,
14:38to Kingpin and others,
14:40that he was ready in weeks
14:42for his big project.
14:43But instead,
14:44he's going to have to,
14:45you know,
14:45change it around a bit.
14:46Because this Project Loka
14:47that he was bragging about,
14:49well,
14:49it was going to destroy the Earth.
14:50And now he's going to have to make it
14:51so that instead,
14:52it actually helps the Earth.
14:54So I would love to see
14:54how this conversation goes down
14:56when he has to eat some crow.
14:57But anyway,
14:58Craven then says,
14:59You're letting him go?
15:01And Spider-Man responds,
15:02I am.
15:02But I'll be keeping an eye on him
15:04just to be safe.
15:05Then Craven says,
15:07Cain said something to me back there
15:08that made me realize
15:09what a folly it is,
15:11wasting my final days
15:12on some grand last hunt.
15:14A folly that cost Galiadkin his life.
15:17There are better,
15:18more productive ways to live
15:20and to face death.
15:22Soon,
15:22I shall see my Mariah again.
15:24And as for you,
15:25Spider,
15:26I think this
15:27is goodbye.
15:29I will say,
15:30I really liked Craven's storyline
15:31in this comic.
15:32I thought it was fantastic.
15:34All right,
15:35so Spider-Man thinks,
15:36So much has happened
15:37in so little time
15:38that my head is spinning.
15:40Moreland,
15:40Cain,
15:41Craven,
15:41all of it seems like
15:42a strange dream.
15:44I'll try to sort it out later,
15:45but now,
15:46it's time to go home.
15:48And then he says,
15:49You wanted to talk to me,
15:50Aunt May?
15:51Is something wrong?
15:52You seem,
15:53and she says,
15:54Wrong?
15:54No, Peter.
15:55Nothing's wrong.
15:56In fact,
15:57at long last,
15:58I think everything's right.
16:00And then it happens.
16:02We have Spider-Man
16:02narrating and explaining.
16:04Then she tells me
16:05how she's known,
16:06almost from the beginning,
16:07about my double life,
16:09about Spider-Man.
16:10Almost from the beginning?
16:12That is wild.
16:14I gotta think about that
16:15for a while.
16:16I mean,
16:17oh my word,
16:18that means maybe
16:18from the beginning
16:19of the series,
16:20you know,
16:20the original series,
16:21she knew?
16:22Whoa.
16:23Anyway,
16:24he says,
16:25A part of me
16:25wants to deny it,
16:26but another part,
16:28the wiser part,
16:29I think,
16:29realizes that the time
16:31for hiding the truth
16:33has passed.
16:34So she says,
16:34You wonder why I always
16:36worry so much about you,
16:37why I fuss over you.
16:39I suppose it's an old woman's way
16:40of overcompensating
16:41for the fact
16:42that her nephew
16:43is out there,
16:43day after day,
16:45risking his life.
16:46Foolish as it sounds,
16:47I believed all the fussing
16:49and worrying
16:49would protect you somehow.
16:52And he says,
16:52Aunt May,
16:53I'm so sorry,
16:54but you have to understand,
16:55I couldn't tell you
16:56because,
16:57and she responds,
16:58no excuses,
16:59no explanations.
17:01They're not necessary
17:02because I do understand,
17:04and I'm so proud of you,
17:05Peter.
17:06You've done so much good,
17:07brought so much light
17:09into what can be
17:09a very dark world.
17:11And if he were here
17:12right now,
17:13your Uncle Ben
17:14would say the same thing.
17:16So like,
17:17wow,
17:17I really got to process this,
17:18right?
17:19I mean,
17:19the idea that Aunt May
17:21has known from the beginning
17:22and fully accepts it
17:24and was even trying
17:24to protect him
17:25along the way,
17:26wow,
17:27crazy,
17:27right?
17:28But as big of a revelation
17:29as that is,
17:30you're not going to believe
17:31who's saying this right here.
17:33I can't begin to tell you
17:34how ashamed I am,
17:35Mary Jane,
17:36and I wouldn't blame you
17:38if you never spoke
17:39to me again.
17:41Oh my word,
17:42Anna Watson apologizing.
17:45If they make me
17:46actually care for Anna Watson,
17:48I don't know
17:48what's going to happen.
17:49All right,
17:49let's see here.
17:50So anyway,
17:51MJ says,
17:51don't be ridiculous,
17:52Aunt Anna.
17:53And she says,
17:54ridiculous?
17:54You can say that
17:55after the awful way
17:57I've treated Peter?
17:58I don't know
17:59if I can even explain why.
18:01And she says,
18:02try.
18:03And Anna says,
18:04my own marriage.
18:05It was short
18:06and frustrating
18:07and painful.
18:08And all these years later,
18:09I still live with that pain.
18:11Oh,
18:11and I was so worried
18:12that the same things
18:13that happened to me
18:14would happen to you
18:15that I projected
18:16all my negative feelings
18:18about my husband
18:19onto yours.
18:21Okay,
18:22they're making me feel
18:23sorry for her.
18:24Ugh,
18:25I can't believe this.
18:26Anyway,
18:27she then says,
18:28and I was wrong.
18:29I've known Peter Parker
18:30since he was a little boy
18:31and I know in my heart
18:33what a good person he is.
18:35How could he not be
18:36when he was raised
18:37by May and Ben?
18:38I've been a perfect idiot,
18:40Mary Jane,
18:41and I hope you can forgive me.
18:43And then Peter says,
18:44of course she can,
18:45and I can too.
18:46All right,
18:47if Peter can forgive her,
18:49I guess I can too,
18:50but this is not easy.
18:52This is not easy.
18:54Anyway,
18:54she comes over
18:55and hugs him,
18:56and I give up.
18:57I forgive her.
18:59Ugh,
19:00my nemesis,
19:01Anna Watson,
19:02is now forgiven.
19:03Anyway,
19:04then Peter thinks
19:04it only takes a moment
19:06for the world
19:06to shift beneath our feet.
19:08Sometimes that shifting
19:09can be a terrible thing,
19:10but sometimes
19:11it's truly wonderful.
19:13And when the evening is done,
19:15when Anna has gone home,
19:17the wonder continues.
19:19Isn't it time,
19:20Mary Jane asks,
19:21for us to be properly married?
19:23Of course,
19:24the world thinks
19:24MJ and I are already married,
19:26and legally,
19:27I guess we are,
19:28but we need this moment,
19:29this impromptu ceremony,
19:31these spontaneous vows
19:33to bind our hearts together,
19:35and I couldn't think
19:36of a better officiant
19:37than Aunt May.
19:39All right,
19:40that's really cool too.
19:41I had a feeling
19:42they were going to get remarried.
19:43I mean,
19:43it's not official
19:44because they already were married,
19:46but it's special,
19:47right?
19:47A very special moment.
19:49Then Aunt May asks,
19:50so where will you two go
19:51on this spur-of-the-moment
19:52honeymoon of yours?
19:53And I love this.
19:55Peter says,
19:55I think we'll just
19:56rent a car and drive.
19:58I honestly don't care
19:59where we end up
20:00as long as it's not
20:01Niagara Falls,
20:02which obviously you remember
20:03from the animated series,
20:05that's where they went
20:05to spend their honeymoon
20:06when everything went crazy
20:08with Hydro Man showing up,
20:10and yeah,
20:10it all went downhill from there.
20:12So I love it.
20:13They're not going
20:13back to Niagara Falls.
20:15Then May says,
20:16well,
20:17I'll let you finish packing,
20:18and um,
20:19and Peter's like,
20:20something else,
20:21Aunt May?
20:21And she says,
20:22well,
20:23I did want to ask
20:24for a tiny favor.
20:25There's something
20:26I've often wondered about
20:27since,
20:28no,
20:28you'll think it's silly,
20:29and it is.
20:30I'm just being a,
20:32Peter says,
20:33come on, Aunt May,
20:33you know you can ask me
20:34anything,
20:35and she says,
20:36well,
20:36it's not you
20:37I want to ask,
20:38Peter.
20:39It's Spider-Man.
20:40Oh,
20:41my word,
20:41he takes her
20:42web-slinging.
20:44For years,
20:44Spider-Man thinks,
20:45I used to moan
20:46about the Parker luck,
20:48about the endless problems
20:49that always seemed
20:50to plague me,
20:50but I see now
20:52just how fortunate I am
20:53to have this life,
20:55this extraordinary family.
20:57I have no clue
20:58what the future will bring,
20:59but I know that
21:00whatever the challenge is,
21:01we'll face them all
21:03together.
21:04Now,
21:05I will say,
21:05I hope Aunt May is wearing
21:06an extra pair of Depends,
21:08because remember,
21:09in Far From Home
21:09and No Way Home,
21:10when Spider-Man took
21:11MJ web-slinging,
21:12I'm betting she had to
21:13change her pants after that,
21:15so yeah,
21:16I wonder if Aunt May
21:17regrets this or not,
21:18but fantastic way
21:19to end the comic series,
21:21really,
21:21really fun,
21:22and of course,
21:23all the credit goes
21:23to these folks here.
21:25So,
21:25one last look at the timeline,
21:27I'm still convinced
21:28that the series takes place
21:29in June of 1997,
21:31and basically over the span
21:32of maybe just three to four days,
21:34so that's perfect
21:35that it's in June of 1997,
21:37because he then shows up
21:38in X-Men 97
21:39in November of 1997,
21:41and of course,
21:42that was in episode number 10,
21:43when we saw Peter,
21:44MJ,
21:45and even Flash.
21:46So yeah,
21:46it all fits really well,
21:48and I will place this timeline
21:49on my Google Drive
21:50in case you want to reference it.
21:52And I thought this was kind of fun.
21:54At the back of the comic,
21:55they revealed the top five votes
21:56for the favorite episodes
21:58that readers sent in,
21:59and they were,
22:00number one was season one,
22:02episodes eight through 10,
22:03the alien costume.
22:05Number two was season two,
22:06episode four,
22:07Neurogenic Nightmare
22:08with the mutant agenda.
22:10Love that episode.
22:11Number three was season three,
22:13episodes six through seven,
22:14Sins of the Father,
22:15the Daredevil crossover.
22:16Those were great.
22:17Number four was Sins of the Father,
22:20chapter 14,
22:21Turning Point.
22:22And then finally,
22:22number five was season five,
22:24episodes nine through 11,
22:26the Secret Wars episodes.
22:27And then also,
22:28they listed some honorable mentions,
22:30Night of the Lizards,
22:31Spider Wars,
22:32The Haunting of Mary Jane Watson,
22:33Carnage,
22:34The Spot,
22:35and Sting of the Scorpion.
22:36So I thought that was kind of cool.
22:38So the question now is,
22:39what did you think of the series?
22:41And in fact,
22:41don't just tell me,
22:43although I do want you
22:43to put it in the comments,
22:44but also you can email
22:46spideyoffice at marvel.com
22:48to let them know
22:49what you think about the series.
22:50And what I'm really hoping is,
22:52they give us what they promised.
22:54Remember,
22:54they promised we were going to learn
22:56after months of searching
22:57and facing unspeakable horrors.
22:59What did Spider-Man have to do
23:01to bring MJ home?
23:02And remember,
23:03they had the little asterisk down there,
23:04which said,
23:05a tale will tell eventually.
23:07Well,
23:07if you're like me,
23:08I thought this series
23:10was going to tell that tale.
23:11I mean,
23:11I enjoyed this series.
23:12It was fun.
23:13I liked it.
23:14But I really want to know
23:15what on earth happened
23:17to let Spider-Man
23:18get MJ back again,
23:19right?
23:20So yeah,
23:20I need to email them myself
23:21to let them know
23:22that I want to know
23:23what happened with that storyline.
23:24But hey,
23:25thank you for following along
23:26with this breakdown of the series.
23:28And again,
23:28let me know what you thought
23:29because you know I love to read
23:30and respond to everything.
