00:00So, Andy, you shared the story about Lee Bryce's dog returning, a pregnant dog named Charlie.
00:07Yeah, it was missing for two weeks.
00:10And when he finally went public on social media, someone found the dog, had taken it to a shelter, had her poor little leg in a cast, and she's back home now.
00:21It's so incredible, right?
00:22Literally 24 hours into posting, somebody said, oh, my gosh, made this connection, saw the dog at the shelter.
00:28Everything was fine.
00:29Now, the dog's on the mend, right, had a broken leg, but so incredible, right?
00:34But, and I think Lee Bryce would agree with this, not everybody is Lee Bryce, right?
00:38Not everybody has a platform, or if they put something on Facebook or on their Twitter or whatever it might be.
00:43Not everyone has the reach that he does.
00:45Exactly.
00:46Well, let me tell you about a family, a Vermont woman whose cat was missing for four years.
00:52Oh, my gosh.
00:53Four years, and they were just reunited together.
00:56Nuh-uh.
00:56Because in December of 2021, cat goes missing, very sad, and they even said, very sad time of year to have a pet missing, right?
01:04It's the holidays, it's so tough.
01:06Well, they put on flyers, posting online, all of this stuff.
01:10They eventually believe their cat, Tinsel, was gone for good.
01:13Tinsel, the Christmas cat.
01:15But then, Maggie DeGrenia's cousin saw Tinsel's photo on a rescue website, on a shelter website, and said,
01:26Oh, my gosh, I'm almost certain this is Tinsel.
01:28Nuh-uh.
01:29Leading to an emotional reunion where the cat immediately recognized her owner.
01:33Really?
01:33We're talking like Air Buds style here.
01:36Shelters say that Tinsel had been cared for by others before being surrendered last month.
01:40Oh, my gosh.
01:42So, Tinsel just, like, wandered around, found people to take care of her or him, until somebody finally took them to a shelter where it was recognized and reunited with its parent.
01:54Wow.
01:54That is amazing.
01:55Yeah, I grew up with cats in the house, mostly a dog fam, and cats get a bad rap sometimes.
02:00You know, they're told, oh, you know, you ask for a cat's attention, they tell you to leave a message.
02:04I always say, like, my daughter is a cat, right?
02:06And my son is a dog.
02:08My son is a puppy and just all love and stuff.
02:10My daughter's like, you get the look, right?
02:13I will let you know when you can pay attention to me.
02:15Yes.
02:16It's so, so true.
02:17Yeah.
02:18But in this case, it's so beautiful to hear a cat that recognized its owner.
02:22I love that.
02:22Ran up to its owner.
02:23Probably did one of these.
02:24Hmm.
02:26Jeff right now.
02:26Me rubbing my head.
02:27Nuzzling his head.
02:28You're nuzzling the mic.
02:29Against the microphone.
02:30Shannon, what would a cat sound like?
02:32Meow.
02:32There you go.
02:33Well done.
02:34I think he's got his job.
02:36Thanks.
