00:03 I had never heard this type of scream from her before.
00:10 My friend messaged me saying, hey,
00:12 there's a couple of kittens here in the backyard.
00:14 Hi, little babies.
00:16 I had no intention, really, of taking one home.
00:20 But when I seen how friendly Kitten was,
00:23 I was just wondering, maybe they will
00:25 get along with my cat at home.
00:27 [INAUDIBLE]
00:30 [INAUDIBLE]
00:32 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:36 My boyfriend didn't want any pets.
00:45 He would be here on the counter on the computer,
00:47 and Silo would just climb up on top of his lap
00:49 and just sleep there.
00:50 They both adjusted to each other very fast.
00:52 [MUSIC PLAYING]
00:56 [SCREAMING]
00:58 OK, maybe we should introduce Scents first.
01:02 I'm going to touch you so I can go have
01:05 Aiko smell my hand again.
01:07 [MUSIC PLAYING]

01:12 She's really angry.
01:16 [SCREAMING]
01:18 She wanted to be the only one.

01:26 And she's obsessed with those treats.
01:28 She was happy to see it, but also she
01:30 was upset with me still.
01:33 Wanting the treat, but also angry with me.
01:38 About day three, she could actually
01:40 see the kitten through the glass window as well.
01:43 She was more OK than the first day when she was screaming.
01:49 Good job, mama.
01:53 That's a good girl.
01:56 As the days passed by, the new kitten
01:58 started to slowly go up to Aiko and sniff her tail
02:01 and see how close can I get to her.
02:03 Silo.
02:04 And at one moment, I came outside
02:09 and they were both laying right next to each other.
02:11 And I was like, oh, that's progress.
02:13 I'm so happy about this.
02:14 [MUSIC PLAYING]
02:17 That's a good boy getting along with Aiko.
02:20 Obviously, everything takes time.
02:22 But in the short span of a month and a half,
02:25 they've already made so much progress
02:27 just by laying next to each other, by sniffing each other.

02:34 [INAUDIBLE]
02:38 We really just wanted her to grow up
02:40 with a little companion.
02:41 We're just excited that they're going to be siblings now
02:44 and grow up in a happy home.
02:45 And we're giving them all the love and care.
02:48 I'm so proud of you two.
