00:00Neil 2-1 win against Macclesfield in the EFA Trophy, just to weather a bit of a storm at the end

00:05in the wet and windy conditions after being obviously well in control with all that.

00:09Yeah, first half really good. You start the second half a little bit scrappy, the pitch has,

00:14the pitch deteriorated, so did the game. And credit to them, they played the conditions better than us.

00:19They spun it in there, they put four up and they put a bit of pace on, they had runners.

00:23And, you know, I thought we had some mad moments where we let them in and Rossi's done well,

00:30one in the first half and a couple in the second half. And then as the game wore on, you know,

00:33that little five-minute spell from the 77th minute to the 82nd where, you know, it was madness

00:38and we nearly lost the game. That was really crucial. But Rossi saved us and we've ended up

00:45sort of battling and riding our luck. Yeah, they got the one back and then Rossi,

00:48the big penalty save, you know, he produced it in the moment, doesn't he?

00:51Yeah, no, Rossi did great for us. So, you know, that's what keepers are there for.

00:55But, you know, he did well in the penalty shootout in the National League Cup.

00:58So, you know, we felt confident he could, on them conditions, he could pull off a good save

01:04and he did.

01:04First half, when obviously the conditions, you know, hadn't taken effect so much

01:08and you could sort of, you know, play more, you played really nicely and obviously got yourself

01:11doing all up.

01:11Yeah, I thought first half was really good. Second half became really tough and we didn't manage

01:16it as well as they did, game manage it. It's not much to say.

01:21Other than we're in the hat and that was what it was all about in a tough fixture.

01:25Yeah, and Oli Sanderson obviously getting another two goals to keep his form going.

01:28Yep, yep. Jake, I'd always talked to him about arriving in the box and having the energy

01:32to get to that penalty spot consistently and he did. And both goals come from it.

01:36Great play from Tariq and Waldie for the second. Great play from Jack Turner for the first.

01:40So, yeah, you know, it's important. We need goals and it's important that we have our strikers scoring.

01:46A few changes but still a strong side and everyone who came in sort of stepped up and did well.

01:50Yeah, yeah. Like I said, I haven't got the best 11, you know, any of these boys can play

01:55any week in, week out. We've got loads of games coming up and the boys need to be fit in minutes

02:00and I told them that and hopefully it keeps everybody bubbling away and everybody at it.

02:04Yeah, so you're going to need the whole squad and he obviously sets up a trip to Walton and Hersham

02:08in the next round and obviously Yeovil first.

02:09Yeah, Yeovil in the league first. We'll focus on that and then afterwards, you know, we know

02:13how tough it is. Walton are in great form and everybody tells me how tough the game's going to be

02:17so we won't take them lightly. We'll prepare the best way we can and then after that game

02:22we go on a run of, I think, a whole month of Saturday, Tuesday. So, it's going to be brutal

02:27and winter conditions are here and it takes its toll on the body. So, we'll do our very best to get through it.
