00:11Coming into the ground today, it was a good atmosphere seeing everyone again.
00:14Yeah, it feels like we had a bit of a winter break but the boys have trained a lot during that period
00:19so we tried to stay as sharp as possible.
00:21I thought we started really well today actually and then just a few cobwebs probably for the back end of the first half.
00:26Made a couple of small tweaks in the second half and I thought we were much better and deserved the win.
00:31So yeah, it's good to get three points on the board as well with a few games being off.
00:35So yeah, happy.
00:36Yeah, that double bonus isn't it? Three for you and other teams not playing.
00:39And at half-time, you started the first half well and then sort of in the second half sort of kicked on,
00:45sort of tweaked it, Finn came on at half-time which was obviously a great option to have wasn't it?
00:49So yeah, what was discussed?
00:51To be honest with you, before the game started we looked at our bench
00:54and I think it's one of the strongest benches I've seen that we've had for a long time.
00:58And also in and around it you've got Tom Smith and Jack Knight there that are getting games and Devontae.
01:03So yeah, we had a really strong bench today so we knew that we could change things if we needed to.
01:07Finn's back, not ready to play 90 minutes but yeah, great to have him back, gives us a different option.
01:13And yeah, Shamal came on and him and Didi are quite similar.
01:17They can both beat a man, both really quick.
01:19So really good to bring some sort of fresh legs on and try and impact the game that way.
01:22And yeah, I was really pleased with the subs and I thought, yeah, we definitely deserved it today.
01:27And it shows kind of the strength and depth that you sort of are building really, isn't it?
01:30And everyone's got their part to play and will play.
01:32Yeah, it's going to be a little bit difficult to keep everyone happy but I think they've all adapted to the fact that they're part of the squad.
01:39And with Tuesdays and Saturdays for the next seven weeks then they're going to need to expect them being in the starting team on the bench
01:46or maybe even not in the squad and they just need to take it on board and know that the opportunity will come.
01:51Honestly, I can't praise some of the boys enough with their attitudes.
01:54I think it's been so good.
01:55When they've gone out and got minutes, they'll come back.

02:01Tom Dreyer, good composure on the rebound after his first one was saved.
02:05Yeah, Tom's been brilliant this year for us and he's just going from strength to strength.
02:10He causes the team's problems all over the pitch and yeah, beats his man quite often and can get on the score sheet.
02:17So he's a real promising talent.
02:19I think there's a few people looking at him at the moment, including Woken, trying to get him sorted, which I can't blame them.
02:25If he didn't have aspirations above, I'd be making sure he was here for a long time.
02:30Because he's a really promising talent.
02:32And enough of Shamal on for his debut and a debut goal.
02:35Perfect start for him.
02:36Yeah, to be honest with you, that's exactly the reason why we brought him in.
02:39Gets goals, knows the level and yeah, he's got used to the Westford bubble now.
02:44He had one where it bubbled up to his knee.
02:46So yeah, I'm really pleased for him to come in and get a goal in his debut.
02:50Good attitude, good person to be around and yeah, he'll add to our squad really nicely.
02:54And yeah, his goal scoring record speaks for itself.
02:57Yeah, we've got a good bunch up front with pace and a bit dynamic.
03:02I think we lacked a bit in the first half of that dynamic side that we like to have.
03:06But yeah, second half was good and yeah, really pleased.
03:09He's got lots of different options and he obviously gives you that sort of blistering pace and ability to sort of drive forward and get past people, doesn't he?
03:16Yeah, got a few like that.
03:17So yeah, got a nice mix.
03:19So we've got some of the pace, some with a bit more hold up play.
03:21So yeah, it's an exciting time and we just need to keep our standards high.
03:27I think we probably, I was pleased with the second half, but I think we were a bit disappointed at half time.

03:34Fowley actually doesn't get very, very loud in general.
03:37He's normally the calmer one.
03:38I'm normally the one that gets a bit more annoyed.
03:40But he had a few things to say at half time, which you sort of know that if Fowley's saying something like that, then it's not good enough.
03:47So yeah, it was good to see them react in the second half.
03:52At 2-0, it sort of looked like that would be it.
03:54And then you just had to ride, you know, a few things happening.
03:56You knew with the second yellow for Tom and then the penalty for 2-1, but you sort of dealt with that.
04:00And then obviously being wrapped it up at the end, it would be a really nice call.

04:04Yeah, a few things to deal with today with the red card and the penalty decision.
04:09I did feel that we were a little bit unlucky with some decisions in the game, but the boys dealt with it well.
04:16And yeah, good to kill the game because those games can easily, one ball in the box, slices off something or in the conditions,
04:22bobbles up somewhere and you end up drawing a game.
04:24So it's good to finish, put the game to bed and Finn with a nice finish.
04:28I would say a nice three points to get it back up and running after the enforced break.
04:31And the games are really going to come thick and fast now over the next few weeks.
04:34Obviously starting on Tuesday with their part.
04:36Yeah, had a great spell last time. It was Tuesday, Saturday.
04:38So we're looking to try and do the same.
04:40And that will put us in a really good position if we can pick up a few wins on the next few weeks.
04:43So fingers crossed.
04:45It's a long way to go, but you're still sitting third with games in hand and it's all to look forward to, isn't it?
