00:00Minneapolis devolved further into violence after the shooting of a migrant by a federal agent.
00:05According to DHS, an ICE agent was ambushed by three illegal Venezuelan migrants,
00:10and officials are calling it attempted murder. The three men reportedly beat the agent with
00:15snow shovels and broom handles after they fled from a traffic stop. The agent then fired a shot
00:20in self-defense, and that shot hit one of the attackers in the leg. All of them are now in ICE
00:24custody. Now, following the incident, anti-ICE rioters around the city escalated things in
00:30response. One angry mob hurled fireworks and rocks at federal officers, and protesters scrawled
00:36threatening messages like one found on a car which read, the only good agent is a dead one.
00:42Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey finally insisted protesters knock it off after a week of violence,
00:49though he couldn't help but throw in a jab at President Trump in the process.
00:52And for anyone that is taking the bait tonight, stop.
00:59That is not helpful. Go home. We cannot counter Donald Trump's chaos with our own brand of chaos.
01:09For those that are taking the bait, you are not helping, and you are not helping the undocumented
01:14immigrants in our city. President Trump met with Venezuelan opposition leader Maria Machado
01:20on Thursday, and he left that meeting with something he has been wanting for a long time,
01:25the Nobel Peace Prize. Confused? I don't blame you. Machado was presented with that award last
01:31December in Oslo. It is no secret that President Trump had been angling to be the recipient of that
01:37very prize for months. Machado had previously dedicated her award to Trump and told Sean Hannity
01:43last week that she would like to give it to him. The woman, known as Venezuela's Iron Lady,
01:48confirmed that she gifted her peace prize to our president, two reporters on Capitol Hill,
01:52where she met with congressional leaders following her White House visit. She said she gave it to Trump,
01:58quote, in recognition of his unique place with our freedom. Machado's meetings at both ends of
02:03Pennsylvania Avenue came just hours after U.S. forces seized another Venezuelan oil tanker,
02:08the sixth such action since ramped up enforcement of oil sanctions began. The military said in a
02:14statement that the ship was, quote, operating in defiance of President Trump's established quarantine
02:19of sanctioned vessels in the Caribbean. The White House is working with Venezuela's interim
02:24government to handle sales of confiscated oil and has already sold 500 million bucks worth of it.
02:30Now to Iran, where the killing of protesters seems to have stopped, as President Trump said it had.
02:36But it isn't necessarily all good news. Sources exclusively tell The Post that residents are
02:43effectively being held hostage in their homes by machine gun wielding forces that have flooded the
02:49streets. One source told us, quote, there were tanks out. There were tanks everywhere. They went on to
02:55recount seeing trucks rolling through the streets full of about 10 men each with machine guns pointed at
03:01anyone they saw. Another person in Tehran said police and security forces are patrolling around,
03:08making stops that are intimidating everyday Iranians. The news from the ground comes amid reports that
03:13President Trump was waved off of attacking Iran by Saudi Arabia, Qatar and Oman. They've reportedly
03:19persuaded him to, quote, give Iran a chance to show good intention. White House Press Secretary
03:24Caroline Levitt seemed to sidestep the issue a bit Thursday afternoon.
03:28A lot of these stories, to be honest with you, I've been reading them and they've been based on
03:32anonymous sources who are pretending or guessing to know the president's thinking.
03:36The truth is only President Trump knows what he's going to do. And a very, very small team
03:41of advisors are read into his thinking on.
