00:00One of Armie Hammer's accusers is speaking out to clarify a photo used in House of Hammer that has come under question.
00:07In the Discovery Plus docuseries, which released on Friday,
00:10Courtney Vyskovich spoke of a months-long relationship with the Call Me By Your Name actor
00:14that she says left her traumatized and in a rehab facility.
00:18While describing alleged injuries sustained at the hands of Hammer, a photo of a bite mark was shown.
00:23Some viewers claimed on social media that the image appeared to be that of a bite mark tattoo.
00:28Discovery Plus has now removed the photo from the series.
00:31The victim said in a statement to People,
00:33A spokesperson for the production company Behind the Dock said in part,
00:56When new information came forward about this series, we immediately began investigating it
01:01and will make any appropriate changes as quickly as possible.
01:04House of Hammer documents the accusations against Hammer as well as the Hammer family bloodline.
01:09The actor exited several projects and was dropped by his agency WME after he faced misconduct allegations
01:16and a sexual assault investigation was launched by the LAPD.
01:20Following the series release, Effie, the woman whose claims against Hammer launched the ongoing investigation,
01:25spoke out about why she did not participate in the series, saying in part,
01:29the way they've been exploiting my trauma is disgusting.
