00:00Noah Reid is set to replace Armie Hammer in the Broadway play The Minutes.
00:04Reid played Patrick in the Emmy-winning TV series Schitt's Creek.
00:15The show is set to open April 7th at Studio 54, a little over two years after its original opening date.
00:21Previews will begin March 19th.
00:23Hammer dropped out of the show in April following sexual harassment allegations and a subsequent LAPD investigation.
00:30In a statement, Hammer said he was stepping back from the show, quote,
00:32to focus on myself and my health for the sake of my family.
00:36The show was in previews at the Court Theatre in February 2020 before the pandemic forced Broadway to shut down March 12th of that same year.
00:43While the performance will mark Reid's first time on Broadway,
00:45he has previously appeared in the title role of Hamlet at Toronto's Tarragon Theatre
00:49and in the Coal Mine Theatre productions of The Aliens and Creditors.
