00:00This matchup started off close between the two teams with Dallas leading early in the first

00:08quarter but the Denver Nuggets who are coming off of a back-to-back win against the New Orleans

00:12Pelicans shifted that momentum and created a deficit as large as 23 points. Now injuries

00:17have been prevalent for both teams especially for Dallas with Anthony Davis out as well as Derek

00:23Lively but then we also saw Cooper Flagg and Daniel Gafford exit the game with supposed ankle

00:28injuries. The phrase next man up has been prevalent over the course of the season for the Mavericks

00:34and that is the mentality that they pulled from heavily in the fourth quarter. Although their

00:39three-pointers were not falling for them against the Nuggets with a shooting percentage as low as

00:4310% late in the game they were still able to dig deep keep fighting and bring the score within

00:48three but it still wasn't enough to seal the deal. We heard from head coach Jason Kidd following this

00:54matchup and he stated we had a scrappy group out there competing but tonight was hard for our

00:59shooting but the guys kept playing. This is the norm this is who we are and so the character has been

01:05displayed in tough times of being down but we keep fighting. Najee Marshall led the Mavericks with 24

01:12points three assists and five rebounds. Jamal Murray led the Nuggets with 33 points five assists and two

01:18rebounds. The Mavericks are facing a back-to-back against the Utah Jazz starting on Thursday night.
