00:00We approached the end of a back-to-back for the Dallas Mavericks as they took on the Memphis
00:07Grizzlies at home at American Airlines Center on Saturday night, but fell short with a final score
00:12of 102-96. Dallas came off of their Friday night win in attack mode when they met the Grizzlies,
00:18with Klay Thompson hitting back-to-back shots in the first quarter and Brandon Williams driving
00:22through the paint to finish on those contact baskets. This was a great night for Klay Thompson,
00:26going 6-12 from beyond the arc and hitting even a buzzer beater right at the end of the third
00:31quarter, which ignited the energy for the fourth, keeping that score within two until the final
00:36seconds of the game. Thompson led the Mavericks with 22 points and one rebound. For more on the
00:42Memphis Grizzlies, throwing it to you, Lacey. On the Memphis side, they out-rebounded Dallas 61-41,
00:48which ended up being one of the biggest difference makers in the game. And even though the Grizzlies
00:52struggled from deep, shooting just at 26% from three, they made up for it with hustle plays and
00:57extra possessions. The Mavericks will head on the road to take on the Miami Heat on Monday night.
