The Dallas Mavericks put on a clinic in a 122–109 win over the Houston Rockets, delivering their most efficient shooting performance of the season and overwhelming Houston on both ends of the floor.

Dallas shot a scorching 59.8% from the field, forced 20 turnovers, scored a season-high 34 points off miscues, and piled up 74 points in the paint. Anthony Davis led the way with 29, while Brandon Williams, Cooper Flagg, PJ Washington, and Ryan Nembhard all delivered standout performances.

Kevin Durant and Jabari Smith Jr. paced Houston, but the Mavericks’ balance and defensive pressure proved too much.

00:00The Dallas Mavericks welcomed Kevin Durant and the Houston Rockets to the American Airlines
00:07Center on Saturday night, claiming home territory, winning with a final score of 122-109.
00:13Cooper Flagg during pregame warm-ups received his award for being selected as West Conference
00:18Rookie of the Month, and that energy set the tone for the rest of this competition.
00:23Dallas was in an offensive rhythm against Houston, welcoming P.J. Washington back to
00:27the floor after being out with an ankle injury, as he brought that spark back to the rotation
00:32that his game is most known for.
00:34It was really fun.
00:34I was just a little tired because I'm an owl, so I was trying to catch my breath, yeah.
00:39So it was great.
00:41I mean, I just love being able to be on the winning side of things, and it just feels great
00:44seeing everybody smile, obviously seeing the fans get into it, and things starting to turn.
00:49This is a game full of defensive stops and buzzer-beater shots, with Najee Marshall hitting a three-pointer
00:54to close out the third quarter, along with P.J. Washington, just shy of the buzzer, closing
00:59out with a two at the first quarter.
01:01Defensively, Dallas' biggest threat coming into this matchup was Kevin Durant, who had
01:05a normal scoring night, but they were able to limit his three-point accuracy, holding
01:09him to one of three shots, leaving here with 33%.
01:13We heard from head coach Jason Kidd following the game, and he said that when P.J. Washington
01:17plays, it gives them a chance to win.
01:19He said that Kevin Durant has scored over 30,000 points, so you're not going to stop him, but
01:23you can make it challenging.
01:25And he felt like the game was so much easier for the Mavs tonight.
01:28The Mavericks will have a bit of a break and come back on December 12th to take on the
01:32Brooklyn Nets.
